Not all home coverage are true. I was told that American Home Coverage covers everything on the Platinum side no matter how old they are. I.switched from American Home Shield to this.company because of a salesman promising me this. Well now this company is telling me that they can't help me because my unit is twenty years.old and they are unable to get the parts. I am 65 years old, disabled, and poor this is why I purchased a home warranty plan. It is going to be 24 degrees on Saturday and low 14. Now I have to worry about being cold, possibly getting sick, and pipes freezing. I live in a house that is 110 years old and this company says they can't cover a unit because it is 20 years old. I am just warning others beware of home warranty salesman who tell u that they cover anything no matter how old it is, they may be lying to u. What an old fool i.am to be so trustworthy. I should have definitely stayed with American Home Shield. Beware people of this company when they tell u that all is covered by American Home Coverage especially if u are a senior struggling to survive. This has been a very emotional situation for.me. I was told by the claims department that a representative would call me back. I have waited for four days.for someone to call back. If i.didnt call them today, who knows when someone would have called me back. If ever for that matter. Just beware of salesman.of companies telling u one thing, and they do another.

Very bad attitude and customer service
Very bad experience, as soon as I had a minor issue their whole attitude changed. They go from nice and patronizing when they try to sell you to dismissive and rude whenever you need help with something. I was shocked at how I was treated and how they spoke to me.

Worst company EVER!
Worst company EVER!! Reported to BBB today. Have been strung along for 5 weeks trying to get my wash machine repaired. With each part they ordered, there are two weeks inbetween with NO communication at all. I only know parts were ordered by calling them. Most recent part came in 12/30 and I’m still waiting for them to send someone out to put in. 6 messages have also been relayed to the Acct Mnger since Friday. No return calls EVER!! Do not use these folks !!!! NOTHING!!! They gladly take your monthly dues but give you NOTHING!!!!

The claims process with this company was simple and responsive! I had someone out to my home within the same day got my dishwasher replaced with the same one I had. Overall great experience!

Regret my decision to trust this company
Be aware of this scam. They sold me their plan with a written email that says "free roof leak coverage" and I signed up. Two months later, I got a roof leak and tried calling them for the warranty claim but no one picked up even after waiting for 30 mins on a call. I kept ion trying for several days and my call was finally picked up. I raised the warranty and they charged me the service fee to send someone to inspect. We were going to get hit with Milton hurricane in 3 days and so I requested them to act fast on it. They sent a technician and sent the company his report. AHC then sent me an email asking me to pay another $575 to diagnose the issue. This wasn't acceptable to me and it was highly frustrated. One day before the Hurricane, AHC sent me an email that they do not cover tile roof. This was never communicated to me so far and I was now in a bad situation to face hurricane with a known roof leak. You can clearly see how AHC simply got away from their responsibility by yet again playing a game around their T&C. I later checked the T&C and it nowhere mentions that tile roof is not covered. DO NOT rely on this company and rather pay a little extra to a reputed company to bet your lifetime investment of a home.
