Not the opener
My garage door completely stopped opening a few weeks ago. It’d give usual noises, but the actual opening wouldn’t follow. I tried fixing the opener, but to no avail. So I had to call local specialists for help. When the technician came in, he explained that it was not the opener but rather the springs. Once he changed the spring, the door was back to normal.
