Great communication and support!
I’ve had a great experience working with Robbie at Art Brokerage. She has helped me successfully sell several pieces from my collection and has been incredibly responsive throughout the entire process.Robbie is thoughtful and knowledgeable when it comes to pricing, helping me factor in the current market environment and other considerations so listings are positioned appropriately. When offers come in, she is always supportive during my evaluation process and never applies pressure, which I truly appreciate. Each time a piece has sold, Robbie has been on top of communication and provides clear, detailed, step-by-step guidance for packaging and shipping the artwork. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and partnership have made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. I highly recommend Robbie to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy art broker.

Couldn’t be happier!
I had a wonderful experience working with Art Brokerage. This was my first significant art purchase and Robbie made it easy. She walked me through the negotiation and was candid and transparent. She helped me set expectations, gave me room to make my decision, and was responsive from beginning to end, even during non-business hours. My piece arrived in perfect condition. I’m extremely happy that I bought it and with how the entire process went. I hope I have the opportunity to work with Robbie and Art Brokerage in the future!

Self-proclaimed “confident” art brokers
After a legitimate inquiry about the authenticity of an artwork, I received a dismissive response with a vague answer, and my inquiry was closed. They simply stated that they are confident about the artwork’s authenticity, which is clearly not a proper verification. Reputable dealers typically provide provenance, expert verification, or references.Be cautious with these self-proclaimed “confident” art brokers.

These guys are unprofessional and…
These guys are unprofessional and uninformed, and I would advise you not to list on their website. I've been an antique dealer for 25 years. And sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of paintings. These guys don't know. The difference between an oil on canvas and a print. They will try to scam you by telling you that your oil on canvas is actually a print and then try to make you list it for less. So then they can defraud you and buy it for less, which is completely illegal. It's illegal and completely fraud is if they don't have the ability to assess what an oil on campus is or A print is then they shouldn't be in this business because they're committing fraud, trying to defraud people who own art into devaluing their products

Collecting & Purchasing Fine Art
As with anyone who has collected fine art, we do it to support the culture and love of art. After collecting and investing over time, I became educated that in order for any Artist to be able to produce their works, they must have investors willing to purchase their time to produce such works of art. Equally, in order for those chosen Artists who are successful creating desired art, investors must support their journey. Without willing and able investors, how else would artist receive the support necessary to create art, which in turn enables the public at large access to the cultural experience of the opportunity of owning, if not viewing art of our choosing. How would we be able to visit museums and galleries, and ultimately collect fine art, if it were not for those who invest and support in the artist? So, in essence, the Artist's success is established by a business model that typically originates with displaying their work in a Gallery who is willing to represent their work. As their work is made available for viewing, they may equally produce pieces of work for individuals, if their contract terms permit. But without Gallerys and Musuems for those of us who admire fine art to view works of Art, how would the fine art world survive? Speaking as a collector over a period of decades, there is not a day that I take for granted the beauty of the art that resides on my walls. It has been a passion of my life. Have ultimately found lifelong friends that share this passion as well. What then happens as we age, and we must downsize our footprint and find a future place for our art? Perhaps we can donate it or pass it to special loved ones. If we are in a position that we need to consider resale, what stewards are out there that will, most importantly, manage that resale in the manner in which fine art should be treated to respect its value and the investment that the collector committed to support the art culture that allows artists to exist? I read a review of a fellow collector who stated they encountered significant medical costs and attempted to resale their fine art collection and how ArtBrokerage.com treated their imminently, unfortunate circumstances and I found it most concerning.I inquired myself with Art Brokerage.com to better understand how they are managing their fees and appraisals of fine art resale. I submitted 3 original fine art pieces for their review, with a genuine interest to work with them, given their apparent volume of the resale of fine art. I was stunned at their immediate justification of why they ultimately net a value of return to the seller @ 25%! They claim this is what the market is willing to pay, when in fact, it is format in which they chose to create. Equally, they stated, "WE DO NOT PAY GALLERY PRICES" for your art. YET, they want, require the seller to provide an appraisal and a Certificate of Authenticity. Again, so they can then use their standard model to define that the piece is worth 50% or less of the value, and they take 20-25% off of the valued appraisal and COA that the seller provided. Which by the way, the seller, as an investor of the art, paid for this service when they purchased the art.I have given a good bit of reflection on this apparent business model of ArtBrokerage.com.They do not staff appraisers but instead claim themselves to be appraisers of fine art while promptly and conveniently justifying their opinion, based on the SELLER PROVIDED APPRAISAL. THEY require the seller provide an appraisal and COA! This is obviously for their benefit to have the valued documents that the seller paid for because they do NOT know value, nor invest in validating value. Instead, they then devalue the work, based on the seller provided documents, so they can quickly resale it with little to no investment in the process. Yet, they claim they are experienced! OBVIOUSLY experienced at SCAMMING off of the investments of sellers who purchased through educated, legitimate fine art distributors. I appreciate that buyers are looking for deals and will go wherever they can find them. But as STEWARDS of investing in fine art, should we be supporting business entities like ArtBrokerage.com, who clearly ARE DRIVING down the value of fine art so they can make a (significant) quick buck? You be the judge, but I think it is a very sad state of affairs when fine art is treated in such a poor manner. Should this model continue its "QUICK BUCK" success, what Artist will survive such disrespect of their work? As a collector of fine art, I challenge everyone to give some thoughtful consideration to the culture of fine art and please consider reputable sources when purchasing. Not only for the preservation of fine art, but for the integrity that should exist in collecting and maintaining the value of fine art. My best to all!

No live customer service
I listed a print for quite a few months so ultimately lowered my net price. They left the sale price the same even though I reduced my price by 33%. I asked them to fix this many times using many formats. Heard nothing so cancelled my listing. Was quite concerned that no one responded to me.

One happy customer!
I have worked with Art Brokerage for many years/transactions and I can not be happier with the company; especially with my broker. Robbie is awesome! Once I submit an inquiry for purchase, I get immediate responses within the day…even through the weekend!Albeit I was skeptical about purchasing art online initially but the first transaction went swimmingly.I’ve purchased mostly Erté sculptures to an 8’ tall Tolla that lives in our front driveway. Most of the paintings are 30x48 and larger and legitimate. Shipping and handling for all items, except for one delivery, have been well received. Please note that Art Brokerage does not ship the items, the seller is supposed to be the responsible party here. Now for the questionable items; two Erté sculptures were delivered in a box wrapped with bath towels only and not secured which caused the pieces to rub against each other and ruined the finish. Art Brokerage was gracious enough to give me options for keeping or repairing them and we declined their offers. Not a single cent was charged to us and the pieces were sent back without a glitch. Granted there will always be an issue with shipping & handling and deliveries with any company but Art Brokerage has helped every step of the way to offer to contact the original artist or help put a claim in for repair. Our most recent piece arrived yesterday, in excellent condition and can not wait to hang it with the rest of the Super Friends!!!Looking forward to adding more art to our growing collection through Art Brokerage!

Very disappointed
This was my second or third purchase from them. The preceding transaction were great! This last transaction was not.The piece was large, 48”X48”. It was listed as in excellent condition as my previous ones were also. The shipment was three to five days delivery but took 13 days, no problem. My prior experience with Art Galleries is they would order the appropriate size art shipping box. This shipping box was a “pieced and taped together” Home Depot box. Ok as long as the art is not harmed, fine. The art was wrapped in a large plastic bag. Upon opening there were three very noticeable scuffs marks and one line six inches long trailing from the side to the exterior. I was not happy as this was to be a giftI sent photos of the shipping box and the damage to the painting to Robbie. She responded quickly and offered to find someone locally to repair it.My issue is the painting was to be in excellent condition, wasn’t. I asked for compensation for my inconvenience and received no answer on my request. I also mentioned returning it but was directed to repair it.The damage has been repaired. It would have been “very nice” to have received some financial reimbursement from the seller for all my time invested plus my disappointment. The seller should have inspected the painting before it shipped. There was no way this damaged was done during transit. The internal packaging was clean, no paint marks.Bill

After losing a piece of art in a fire
After losing a piece of art in a fire, I was searching for a replacement and found that Art Brokerage was the only place that had it—though it would, of course, be a different number in the limited edition series of 250. At first, I was apprehensive about the process, but as communication evolved and continued, I felt more comfortable and confident that Art Brokerage is a professional and legitimate business. Helen Tu was responsive, helpful, and made the entire artwork purchase seamless. I highly recommend their services.

Excellence in the midst of unexpected events
I recently purchased an original painting through ArtBrokerage.com. I recommend them in the highest. They are honest, caring, intelligent and informed. They are available and personal, and they show their care in action. One can never guarantee there will be no complications in a transaction, but I can indeed guarantee that ArtBrokerage is qualified, competent, and eager to make things as good as they possibly can be.When one is using a brokerage service, there are several qualities that go into what makes an outstanding broker. In this case, the broker is dealing with the buying and selling of art, anywhere from $1,500 all the way up to the tens of thousands of dollars.First off, the broker needs to have integrity and earned trust. They need a track record of transactions in which they've filled the needs of both the sellers and the buyers. ArtBrokerage's track record demonstrates this history. Secondly, they need to have knowledge of their craft, understanding both the artworks themselves but also the means by which these treasures can be transported from one place to another....and ArtBrokerage has this as well. But most importantly, a great broker needs to have a skillset that involves the inevitable hiccup or snafu. After all, we're dealing with transportation systems that occasionally lose things, damage things, or face emergency situations of their own. How does the broker handle it when something goes wrong? This is the place where a great brokerage shines, and ArtBrokerage certainly showed me great creativity, skill, and compassion in my transaction. This is the core of my review of ArtBrokerage: how they handled a situation that faced many challenges from the time my painting was shipped until I received it. My broker was caring and present as they explained the challenge that had arisen. They had a handle on what was occurring and their communication was clear, detailed, and supportive. They laid out a plan of action and promised to keep me current as the days passed.Imagine yourself in that situation and then having someone who was your ally working on your behalf. As the buyer in the situation I was worried that the painting I desired would not arrive and I was assured that my money was safe as the painting was fully insured. I found myself very grateful that they'd set things up the way they had and kept my funds in a neutral place until I received the painting. I have no doubt that the seller was impatient to be paid, but my broker stood firm and insisted that their quick action, coupled with allowing time for delivery, was the remedy to the complications that had arisen and we just needed to wait.Imagine being the seller: how easy it would be to imagine that ArtBrokerage was trying to steal from you...but that's a silly worry, really, since the brokerage never ever takes possession of the items, but simply facilitates the transaction. I can attest to how my broker consistently mentioned a heart for the seller and made sure to check with me so that the seller's funds could be released at the earliest possible time.Perhaps my situation might even be the other side of a recent review which was, shall we say, less than charitable and certainly conveyed less than 1% of the needed information to make a good decision about whether or not to use ArtBrokerage's services.I give full marks, a hearty "well done", and my heartfelt thank you!

My experience with Art Brokerage has exceedingly positive
My experience with Art Brokerage has exceeded my expectations. I worked with Robbie, who guided me through the steps seamlessly to purchase a BEAUTIFUL, In excellent condition, Ron Burns Original. Robbie negotiated with the seller when I made an offer. ALL communications were prompt, and I would wake up in the morning and, surprisingly, had received updated replies from the company. The handoff of the artwork was amazingly easy. It turns out that the seller lived just 5 minutes from my home, so no shipping was required and no extra fees for insurance. I didn't know the seller until we met, and I now feel like I have a new canine devotee friend in the neighborhood. I paid a fair price, and the service was superlative. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

I had an excellent experience with Art Brokerage
I had an excellent experience with Art Brokerage & specifically Robbie Reddy who was the woman who brokered my purchase. Robbie was super professional and friendly. She professionally brokered the sale for a fabulour piece of art I spotted on their website. When I submitted an offer, she was quick to respond to me, & quick to present it to the owner. When the offer was accepted, she advised me immediately of this as well as provided clear instructions for the final necessary steps in order to have the painting shipped. The whole transaction was completed in a short amount of time. And my art was carefully & thickly bubble-wrapped and then boxed in multiple layers of cardboard all within another large shipping box to prevent any damage. I'm very happy with the whole experience!
