I was recently contacted by a recruiter from Aston Carter regarding a role at Sunrise. She reached out late in the afternoon and requested that I complete a specific questionnaire ASAP and send it back before the following morning. Eager to present my profile, I spent the evening preparing and promptly sent my information. However, despite my efforts, she did not acknowledge my email or provide any feedback afterward. After waiting for a while without hearing back, I followed up to inquire about the status of my application, but unfortunately, I still did not receive a response. While waiting for a reply, I was contacted by two other recruitment agencies who were also representing Sunrise for the same role. Out of loyalty to the recruiter, I initially declined their inquiries, believing it was best to continue with the agency that had first reached out.Recruiters are in this business because of job seekers, and it’s important to remember the time, effort, and hope that candidates invest in applications. Ghosting candidates and failing to follow up not only reflects poorly on the recruiter, but it also diminishes trust in the recruitment process. In the future, recruiters may find themselves looking for a job, and I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be treated this way.Clear and timely communication is essential for a positive candidate experience, and I hope this feedback encourages improvements for both candidates and recruiters going forward.
With a long track record as part of my professional career, this is the worst (and dodgiest!) I have ever seen. Firstly as part of the LinkedIn job advertising they used a totally different name/logo which was strange. I was then given a call by Diogo who then followed up with the email under Aston Carter, no response to my email questions but he then decided for whatever reason to communicate via LinkedIn messaging during the process rather than emails which I also found strange. I interviewed with the client and then he has the audacity to ask if he can accept the job offer on my behalf if they call me regarding it which I clearly tell him 'No' and then tries to make it out as it is a standard procedure which on that basis I withdraw my application. I entertained this opportunity on the basis I was very interested in working for the client organisation but never again at the expense of a dodgy recruiter!
Absolutely horrible! They tell you about a job, and then say it has been closed. This bas happened to me more than once! They are sketchy and do anything to meet the numbers or quota!Don’t even acknowledge. 0 stars
INVESTED A LOT OF MONEY IN THIS COMPANY AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING FINE UNTIL IT WAS MATURITY DATE AND I DECIDED TO MAKE A WITHDRAWAL JUST FOR ME TO SEE THAT I CANNOT WITHDRAW MY MONEY AND I WAS ALSO ASKED TO PROVIDE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH MADE ME KNEW THEY ARE REALLY A SCAM AND BUNCH OF BROKERS AND I HAD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH S PE CT R U M- CR E S T TO HELP ME RETRIEVE WHICH THEY HELPED AND ASSISTED ME WITH GETTING MY FUNDS BACK .
Contacted by Isabella today. When I asked how they had my number I was told it was from a data centre. When I asked her to identify the data centre and data controller she consistently ignored me.The "job" she kept trying to pitch to me and have me speak to someone about was quire obviously not real. Nobody is paying £1000 a week for a data optimization job that is "non-technical"This very much looks like a company breaching GDPR regulations, and cold contacting people unsolicited.Avoid them. Do not give them any information.
Isabella sent me a message enquiring about wether I was looking for a job, I replied saying I wasn't interested and requested them to take my information off their database. My reply was completely ignored and she proceeded to give me the sales pitch. Very annoying, and refusing to erase data is a violation of GDPR.
Interviewed with Aston Carter a couple of months ago though Microsoft Teams. Did not bother to follow up with me or call me back.
"One star because no zero star..."The reviews are accurate. They are a sham. Absolute time wasters with zero regard and zero decency. Like you, I read all the reviews and still decided to experience it first hand, i secured an interview for a role due to "begin immediately" and on the scheduled date, the delivery lead and interviewer - Lateef Hassan ghosted, no cancellation email, no call, nothing, just blatant disregard and vileness. They approach you with a sense of urgency to futile ends. It baffles me, the time and resources they invest just to waste people's times, it's nothing but despicable. Like their aim is to abuse job seekers vulnerability. With their names and reputation in shambles, they still aren't desisting, in big 2024, Jul 2024 to be precise they are still at it.These job opportunities they offer are highly likely fake, like most others have attested, they ask via email to detail how you would perform the role and/or to describe your past experience day to day, safe to say, their aim is information theft, to exploit and extort the details of the role requirements from unsuspecting job seekers.Absolute shame. Stay far away from them.
Avoid Aston Carter. They're not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and are one of the most unprofessional staffing agencies in existence.A recruiter (Aiko Kasahara) contacted me about an immediate opportunity, promising she and other staff members would conduct a Zoom meeting the next day to discuss it at greater length. This never happened. No Zoom meeting, no follow up call, nothing. This is the kind of thing you'll read about in ALL the negative reviews. This encapsulates the pattern of behavior many of these recruiters have. I've worked in HR. I have a background in client relations. I've screened applicants. I know how staffing is done. These people are NOT legit. So, do yourself a favor and work with an accredited agency.
I was introduced thru Facebook - very pushy, extreme texting and no phone calls - seems shady and I continued to explore rating and experiences. I've never had a stranger experience than this; I maybe behind the ball of techno experience. I don't trust this. Too Fast Too Demanding ... Nope not for me.
Was contacted a few days ago for a very good job opportunity that matched my experience in the financial market. The recruiter was very impressed with my background and experience and the fact I worked a previous Aston Carter a few years prior. This was late in the day, after 3:30pm EST and the Recruiter asked me to complete a Data Entry and Excel (basic to intermediate) test assessment. I completed as requested and got the results which were 97% & 98%....and the Recruiter was very impressed and said before he left for the day was meeting with the Account Manager to give my profile as #1 choice. *Then, the Recruiter requested a 1:1 with me the next morning to just to meet and go over details. We booked a Teams meeting that he sent.**The next morning, an hour before the meeting, I receive an email from the recruiter saying "sorry have to Cancel, was not aware the client already filled the position and no longer available, just found out"TOTAL FABRICATION and COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!! I immediately responded to the recruiter with an email asking who the Account Manager was and why did you make me go through all the assessments and book a 1:1 interview just to be told this ridiculous claim already filled??? I GOT NO RESPONSE......TOTAL UNPROFESSIONAL AND WASTE OF TIME....be careful when being contacted from this agency!!
I haven't had too many negative experiences in selection processes, but with them it was definitely the worst experience I've ever had. It was for a job that I didn't even apply for. After a process that lasted a month (and they were in a hurry) and 5 different interviews (one with them and 4 with the company), I was ghosted. No answer, no feedback, nothing. I spent many hours preparing for the interviews and learning about different tools because I was very interested in the position. It is the most despicable, unprofessional and selfish practice. Apparently, this is standard practice. Don't waste your time with them.
They call, take you info, sometimes use it to advance their own career and never call back. Very unprofessional, worthless and discriminatory. I had more than 1 experience like this. DON'T USE THEM!!!
It’s a fake employment agency. I think Aerotek went out of business then these fools did some sneaky advertising to pretend they are that company. I have had the displeasure of speaking with a few of their employees. First off they use the same job ads then switch the city and state so they can keep recirculating the same fake job ads. I can tell you they been doing it for the last two years since I’ve been in the job market that long. If you do get interviewed - it’s a joke. They want you to explain your résumé. If you don’t know how to read a résumé you’re in the wrong line of employment. I had two interviews that were identical with no opportunity to ask any real questions. Also the jobs they advertised were never explained to me in detail which clearly means that they don’t exist. Shame on these people who are doing this. The state or federal level needs to get rid of this fake employment agency. They have been stealing our information for years and I’ve had enough of this crap haven’t you ? I have since reported this company to the FTC for bad business practices. If you did too o suggest you lodge a comment there and if they get enough they will investigate. I had another run in with this company. One of their reps decided to run a background check on me without my permission on mylife.com. And this idiotic woman has a LinkedIn award for excellence and integrity. Haha! Can’t believe everything you read today.
This company is garbage ,the recruiters are clueless and uneducated with no ethics..It's a criminal company who needs the California attorney general to look into this farce of a company immediately
I answered an ad saying work at Nintendo. At no point was it told to me I was applying at a temp agency. The day class starts we are told we will be using a separate system to clock in and out, Not Nintendo. By this point it was too late, I wanted the job as it could lead to hired on.. 6 months into the job people were returning and celebrating signing their 13 year contract. It was never going to lead to being hired. Supervisors were not employees but other temps. The staffer knew it, the supervisors knew it, they just sell you something else. Now can't even get a call back.
This company is a waste of time and space, dishonest and shoddy. Recruiter told me there are multiple roles available and arranged an interview. It was an hour long interview at the end of it the interviewer said there aren't any roles available, did recruiter not explain bench process? She then explains they are just interviewing candidates to place them on bench for any future roles. Don't waste my time to use your staff's idle time and be honest. That's the least a recruitment company can do.
It's a scam company. Stay away from it and don't waste time with them. They are all over LinkedIn or other job boards.
its fake job agency, was arranged with few people few interviews , I needed to chase it myself they didn't know what they doing , not organised, be aware!!Also you can see on their website when searching for jobs its showing error website it doesnt exist and keeps shwowing an error.
