Ignoring phone calls and emailsBlue Mount Publisher continues to ignore my phone calls, chats, and emails. Once they promised a refund the second time and failed to deliver as promised they stopped responding to all communicaiton. I got through via phone twice after this but after I would not hear back from them (as promised) I would call again and would get no answer. It is clear that they are screening or blocking my calls. I guess I'll try from a different phone number tomorrow to test this and update.

While the Bluemont team was polite and some individuals showed genuine effort, my overall experience was disappointing — especially for a Platinum Package. The editing was about 80% there, with strong attention to detail in parts, but I still had to personally re-read and correct numerous issues, even after providing clear, written instructions.Communication was inconsistent throughout. I was often given incorrect or misleading information, and several deadlines were missed without notice. I understand that delays can happen, but there was rarely any proactive communication when they did — I had to follow up repeatedly, and updates often came days later without clarity or resolution.I was also very clear from the beginning that I wanted to run pre-sales for all editions of my book. Despite confirming this multiple times, Bluemont did not set up the pre-sales in a timely manner. Only the eBook was made available, and I was later told — far into the process — that print and other editions could not be included, which significantly disrupted my launch timeline and strategy.Regarding the included marketing and website components, I was not offered the complimentary website that came with my package. Instead, I was immediately directed to a $3,000 “upgrade” with high-pressure sales tactics. The same occurred with post-marketing — rather than being provided what was included in my plan, I was pushed toward a $14,000 nine-month package.Bluemont has talented people, but my experience felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and heavily sales-driven. For the cost of a Platinum Package, I expected clarity, accountability, and delivery on the commitments made.

(Aka Anita L.)Beware of Blue Mount Publishers – Scam & Breach of Contract!I paid $2,800 to Blue Mount Publishers on January 11, 2023, for a full-service book publishing package that was supposed to include writing completion, formatting, publishing, printing, and marketing. They failed to deliver on nearly every aspect of the contract. Initially, they engaged with me but repeatedly tried to upsell additional services. When I declined, they gradually stopped working on my project and eventually ceased communication altogether. I have emailed them for over a year with no response.What I Paid For But Never Received: ❌ Book completion & formatting – I had to pay another company $1,000 to finish my book. ❌ Publishing & printing – My book was never published or printed as promised. ❌ Marketing & promotional materials – No social media promotions, press releases, or author branding. ❌ Retail distribution – My book was never listed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other platforms. After their complete failure to fulfill the contract, I had to self-publish the book on my own. I found this company to be very deceptive in their advertising and it was clear to me very quickly that they weren't very interested in helping me but mostly interested in getting money from me. I told them to leave me alone and never call me again. They've called me pretty much every month since then and keep giving my contact information to the newest guy in the office along with a list of other people and they won't stop harassing me. Don't give me your contact information they'll never leave you alone no matter how many times you ask.

Ughh, I was stuck with the worst writers block for MONTHS. Couldn't get past it no matter what I tried.Then Blue Mount Publisher stepped in, and it was like magic.
