***RICARD TURPIN WORE A MASK***

At least Richard Turpin (HIGHWAY MAN 1705)wore a mask.This American outfit is regulated by the FCA I believe will have to wait and see as I had no choice but to turn to them.1 lie after another.14 day cooling off period means nothing once all there made up charges are put in place.Corporate greed at its very very best not trust this outfit with a 1p sweet.Change policy wording just to suit themselves and not pay out unbelievable.Can't wait for my day in court might get some straight forward answers.***AVOID AT ALL COST EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE DO THAT AT LEAST IT WILL BE WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON***!!!!!!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!

Took payment £1400 haven't had any documents or receipt for payment no reply to emails or phone.cancelled policy after 7 days under 14 day cool off period still no response or money back absolute crooks .do not trust this company

Avoid!!!

I bought a trader’s insurance and never got any paperwork on my email after 2 days, although I was assured I will get after payment, called the second day and again was assured I will receive by the end of the day. I called again and was offered a poor excuse that they spelled my email wrong although I have spelled it on both occasions before the 3rd call. The cherry on top is that cars were showing as uninsured and it will take a couple of days for them to show, but because I had no paperwork I didn’t risk driving them ( in case I was going to be pulled over by the police I had nothing to show : No invoice, receipt, terms and conditions not a single thing I have received 2 days after I paid for it - can’t call it insurance). I cancelled of course and asked the refund amount - Was told there will be a deduction of the days I was insured :))))) ( although I was in the cooling period of 14 days). The funnier thing is that they told me a refund is between 6-8 weeks!!! Wouldn’t recommend for anyone!

Absolutely shocking service in recent times honest opinion use with caution

After 6 years of being a customer with them I genuinely thought that the service they provided had been on pointUntil I had a acciedent and it started going down hill Additional excess for soft tops (not written in any paperwork anywhere)But lastest after I cancelled and got new insurence 6-8 weeks for refund and 8 weeks later still no refund !!!!But yet if you miss a payment they hound you Spoken to them on the phone and they was told they would put it through as urgent and yet still nothing so honestly I can see me taking this further out of principle They were brilliant at one time but now not the case

Worst company ever of all of companies …

Worst company ever of all of companies I have been insured of all 35 yrs of insuring my vehicles.They kept asking for documents of trading which I provided a no. Of times but still threatened me of cancelling the insurance within 7 days which they cancelled the insurance. The policy was paid in full AND KNOW THE ARE SAYING I HAVE ONLY PAID half and and they sent me letter saying I owe them 90 pounds.PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY ALL COSTS.

Worst insurance company!!! Cheaters

Worst insurance company!!!If I could give zero stars or less I would. They said they would cancel my insurance on 14th if I don't provide proof, which I did. Then they sent another letter with the same threat postponed to 22nd if I don't provide them with additional 5 documents and then they cancelled my insurance on 16th, so 6 days before the due date in the middle of the day whilst I was out driving.. after talking to customer service they said it was their mistake and that the policy is still on but refused to pay compensation for the temp insurance I had to get after they cancelled. A fortnight went by and today, out of the blue, my insurance got again cancelled whilst I was out driving without any warning. They kept about £600 for 1 month and 6 days of insurance! What a rip off! Thinking about seeing them in court

hi can anyone help I have sent 5 forms now to ask for a call back since last Friday and heard nothing back.I have today tried calling at least 10 times, you get the normal ongoing message then press your choice for department to get a miserable sounding man say I am afraid we have no agents available. Is this the norm for this company? or should I go elsewhere.Does anyone know how to contact them I am a new customer looking to place business with them but not so sure now

Gallagher insurance cancelled my policy then kept my money

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Only deal with these charlatans and fraudsters if you wish to lose your money and sanity. Bollington now known as Gallagher cancelled my insurance policy leaving me without an income, I am a motor trader. They then refused to give me a refund of the nine remaining months saying it had to be approved by the broker and may take months, so now I don't have the funds to go elsewhere. In a nutshell due to health reasons I couldn't trade for a couple of months so they terminated my policy. I politely asked if they could show compassion and use their discretion and give me a couple of weeks to provide evidence of trading as I am now feeling better. They resolutely refused and even implied that I had lied to them. Truly shocking behaviour devoid of any humanity. Typical example of corporate greed, anything that doesn't suit their agenda they will discard and leave by the wayside. You have been warned, avoid like the plague.

GALLAGHERS INSURANCE SCAM

GALLAGHERS INSURANCE SCAMSENT OVER 10 EMAILS WITH REQUESTED PROOF WITHOUT A SINGLE REPLY OTHER THAN CONTINUOUS THREATS TO CANCEL OUR POLICY - THEN WE GET THE FOLLOWING EMAIL (see image attached) FROM GALLAGHERS INSURANCE EMAIL SERVER! NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT ATTENTION YOUR EMAILS THEY ARE SO POOR AT EMAIL MANAGEMENT THAT THERE MAILBOX IS FULL AND YOU CANNOT EVEN SUBMIT THE EVIDENCE FOR THE 11TH TIME TO SAFEGUARD THE POLICY THEY HAVE THREATENED TO CANCEL! UN REAL HOW POOR AND IGNORANT THIS AMERICAN INVESTMENT INSURANCE BROKER BASED IN MACCLESFIELD IS! Now had to cancel insurance due to gallaghers insurance complete incompetency, lack of listening, fly by night, black hat methods. This firm (gallaghers insurance brokers) also known as Bollington insurance simply take your deposit (generally hundreds of pounds) they then request ridiculous information that no other trade insurer has ever requested, when you bend over backwards and find the information they deny receiving it, put a 7 day cancellation notice on you and take your deposit, 1st month premium then leave you high and dry! Been in business 25 years personally and have never come across such a shambolic service with no care for damage they cause. AVOID AVOID AVOID

It seems like they are always reviewing…

It seems like they are always reviewing documents to make extra charges. They send emails and letters saying they will cancel your insurance after “reviewing” documents.I have sent all documents relevant but 2 weeks later apparently my years no claim was no longer valid so there was an additional charge added. Let’s hope this is the last bad news and they do NOT keep coming with more issues.

Worse insurance company ever

Worse insurance company ever , I had one of my vehicles stolen and they have no respect at all with the customer , I might report for three times as they are badly organised, playing always against the customers trying delay the process and avoid the payment. Use various names like quoteline and Close Brothers, charged almost 50% of a 12month policy for 6 weeks coverage. NEVER USE ANY OF THE ABOVE!!!

Not to be trusted

Not to be trusted. Lied about a policy and what it included, after ringing around it was £500 cheaper elsewhere. I cancelled within the 14 days, and 3 months later do not have a refund which has been followed up with various excuses, will be opening a card claim to get my money back, avoid this clown show.

Incompetent service with zero value. Now called Gallagers

From start to finish this has been the worse experience of my life. In the beginning I planned to become a courier and have been doing so successfully. Working with many different contractors and have met so many wonderful people been so many exciting places.The nightmare starts and end with just getting insured!It's taking me months of building up my business and had to reach out to so many new businesses to build a relationship and send them out so many supporting documents such as Courier insurance; Public liability insurance; courier contracts; Non disclosures; pics of the van; id & proof of purchase; proof of address; DBS which can't be any longer than 3 months; etc. (Honestly the list does go on) Now the simple fact that the DVLA has a back log that will keep them busy for the next 50 years and have yet to get me my V5 they've cancelled my insurance now I can't work. The system is obviously broken!!!!!!! Now I've recently just learnt they "Bollington" turn into a new company called Gallagers and for the pass 5 days i've been promised a call back still nothing! I've receive several emails to say they've now cancelled my insurance half way through my policy and now want me to pay in full £1400 for them cancelling my policy in error.
