Delivered on time 4 days I've not had chance to fit bars yet as not been to well but they seem perfect for the price well made. Very happy with my purchase . Thank you.

No real complaints
As per other reviews, I thought I was buying from a UK based company as the website suggests, however once ordered I had the email re despatch from Ireland and a warning of possible import taxes.However, that said... importantly... the order was delivered within 2 working days, it was well packaged, and had no issues... and no taxes! So except from the unnecessary worry caused by the emails, if they hadn't sent them I would have been none the wiser and this would be 5*.

Rack arrived in good time and was the only place I could find who supplied the type of rack for my car, Astra Estate 2019.

Nordrive Helio silver aluminium aero Roof Bars. Easy to order on the website and at a good price, the roof bars were ordered on a Saturday and delivered 3 working days later the following Wednesday. They have a higher load capacity than some other roof bars and were easy to fit.

From Ireland to UK
Ordered a couple of Nordrive Quadra black steel Roof Bars for Ford FIESTA VI, 3 & 5 door. They took a week to arrive but considering coming from Ireland and we're UK I thought that pretty good. I was kept informed of the delivery the whole time. So overall a very good reliable service. And the roof racks are spot on just what we wanted

Niche roof bars in stock, efficient delivery
We needed roof bars for our Volkswagen ID3, which is not that straightforward since there are no officially recognised products for the model. We ordered three one company and the bars got lost on the way from Italy. After a full refund was made, we tried Car Racks. They had the same make of roof bar (the only one we found that is designed for the ID3 and they had them in stock. One week later they were fitted on the top of my car and they work like a dream.

Poor customer service
lordered a 4 bike trailer hitch mount rack to use on a trip away. I received an email to say my order would be delayed but was very pleased when it arrived on time!When I assembled the bike rack there was an issue trying to slide the plastic bike holders onto the carrying bars - they were just too tight and wouldn't fit. I phoned their customer service line 6 times for help and was put on hold for 30 minutes each time with nobodyanswering. I had to go on the trip and use an old bike rack and had to leave one bike behind. After returning home I emailed to explain the problem and asked for help. I received a prompt response and after replying with a detailed explanation and waiting for a reply I heard nothing back. I contacted them a second time 8 days later and still no reply. I have no choice but to return the product for a refund.

I have had a great experience with Car Racks, ordering was easy and the bike rack arrived quickly and in great condition. It was good value for money and would definitely head back to Car Racks for anything I additional need to do with my bike rack.

All the customer service of a Dodo.
I’ve tried to contact these people using their contact form to ask for some info about some roof bars on their site. First attempt was two months ago and the second was two weeks ago. They send a nice email straight away each time saying “We’ve got your message and will get back to you!” Then absolutely nothing. It’s unhelpful, poor business and just plain rude. Sharpen up Car Racks and show some respect for your customers.

I was sceptical as to whether these roof racks would be any good due to the cheap price as I've used other brands before and they were 4 times the price of these so wasn't expecting much. How wrong could I have been!! I contacted customer service who were super helpful and even then thought this can't be this easy. Placed the order because it just seemed to good a price and I must say they fit perfectly! I can't praise this company enough. Outstanding service all round and a truly excellent product. Many thanks for guiding and supplying a great product 👍
