The team was professional, kind, and efficient.
They billed me $1785 after quoting me $600 USD. I'm writing this after a WEEK of calls and filing tickets (two so far) with their Customer Service. If you value your time, your money and your peace of mind DO NOT hire this company. Nevermind what they quote you...Nevermind what the customer service sales associate says when you call to confirm and ask questions. RUN AWAY and save time, save money, save sanity!Details; AFTER submitting FULL details to Clutter via photos and confirming items pictured (and not pictured) in my 1BR apt. I was quoted $600 ($303 for storage + $297 for packing)... THEY BILLED ME $1785, and took TWO days to pack my unit. I live in a high rise, had to beg to coordinate additional freight elevator access etc.NOT what the Customer Service rep promised AHEAD of my booking. She said (as does website) they'll send 2 - 4 movers to expedite packing. Instead 2 dedicated but unsupported by their company movers showed up and BUBBLE WRAPPED EVERY SINGLE THING (then took a photo) and insisted they'd get fired if they didn't. The plastic kitchen small trash can? YES. ALSO BUBBLE WRAPPED. The individual plastic patio plates? YES. ALSO INDIVIDUALLY BUBBLE WRAPPED. The designer shoes that were in their see-through linen boxes? REMOVED AND BUBBLE WRAPPED BUT THEY LEFT THE BOXES IN THE CLOSET. Wowsies.So in 10 hours they did NOT successfully pack up what was left of my SINGLE PERSON 1BR apt. (half of which I'd packed myself prior to their arrival). A SECOND DAY to move was added - which is not easy when you live in uptown Dallas high rise - I had to secure the freight elevator and moving hours etc. AGAIN, the final bill was THREE TIMES what THEY quoted me.After multiple "customer service" conversations (me reaching out to them) they have offered to take $100 off of their THREE TIMES their quote bill.Soooooo IF you want your few belongings packed OVER TWO DAYS and to the tune of THREE TIMES THE EXPECTED BILL move forward. If you value your TIME, MONEY and LIFE ENERGY... like this post and GO FIND ANYONE (and I do mean ANYONE) else to help you move.
Great and fast professional service.
Great experience with my Clutter team! Marco and Abner worked very well together and were so kind and friendly and efficient. Marco was the lead and helped Abner learn how best to serve my stuff and my needs. I felt very comfortable and confident in the way they cared for all of my items and I hope to request them for my next pickup!
Early fast , polite
Absolutely horrible service. They caused thousands of dollars worth of irreparable damage to my furniture. In the claims process, they've taken over a month to evaluate and are being incredibly stingy with the compensation.Their cataloging of items is also terrible. It's almost impossible to find anything based on the pictures they take so when you want your items back, you have to pay for them to deliver far more than what you need in hopes of finding the item you're looking for.

This is the second time I ever used you for moving a packaging experience and I’ve had no problems. Nothing everything has gone absolutely perfect. I have referred you too many many people and I hope anybody who needs moving and or packing and or storage will consider clutter cause I have done that.
I will never recommend or use clutter again for any services. This is the worst storage company I’ve ever experienced in my whole entire life, and the staff is rude when addressing a situation and not calling the the guest to fully understand the situation and coming to decision on their own. From start to finish this company is money hungry. there are a lot of fees for unnecessary things and there are not willing to understand that it’s their fault and instead of taking responsibility they put it in their policy so that way they don’t have to help you when things are not communicate communicated properly. Dayane Cortes worst agent and no empathy.

This company now has my belongings so I need to be careful but it was a horrendous $3000 moving experience from start to finish (in Chicago). I explicitly booked 8 weeks in advance for a certain window of time on a Monday in line with my building moving rules (moving an entire 3BR apartment into storage while I go on secondment overseas and I uploaded all the required photos of my belongings in advance, as was required). The movers were several hours late and then only worked 3 hours and ‘got pulled’ to another job at 2pm. The movers agreed to return on Tuesday morning to complete the job but after they left, I was informed that the company “doesn’t book jobs on Tuesdays or Wednesdays so they’re not sure why they said tomorrow is fine and Thurs was the earliest next date.” I was leaving to fly overseas Thursday night so they agreed to come at 8am on Thurs morning to finish but were 2 hours late (despite confirming their arrival time more than once - they email you support transcripts after each chat so I have all the evidence) and then were going to get pulled again to another job at 12pm until I freaked out and the (very nice) movers took pity on me and said they would stay an extra few hours until 2pm. I ended up joining them in the move and clocked 96 flights of stairs to help take everything down to the truck. The items weren’t even packed with padding or wrap bc there wasn’t time and they said they would pack them at the warehouse. I truly wish I’d never discovered this company… but now they have my belongs for 2 years so I’m stuck. They are a total disaster and crazy expensive for being so awful - definitely avoid Clutter at all costs.
Teresa G, Anthony G, JP B, and Arnold R went above and beyond what I expected. They were prompt, professional and incredibly helpful. They were very carefully packing, loading, and asking where to place things but in an efficient way that made our move much less stressful. This is an all star crew and they all deserve a promotion.
The business model of this company is unique and I admit I was skeptical. What sold me on the company was the all in one services they provide. A team will come to pack, move and store your belongings. This service comes with materials and was FREE for the first 3 hours; this is a phenomenal deal and fit my needs perfectly. My team included TJ and Josiah, both were exceptional. They answered my questions, eased my concerns and made this experience smooth, seamless and stress free. They took pictures and bar coded everything. They worked quickly but carefully, taking extra care with my belongings. I am so grateful for their patience, kindness, and skills. The only recommendation I have is regarding customer support. That team needs to have a better script on how Clutter's process works. I didn't know I could gain access to my items upon request using the bar code until TJ explained it to me. I also didnt know which warehouse my belongings would be stored until TJ told me. It wasn't on my contract or located anywhere in my account. This is a huge inconvenient gap and should be addressed. That said I am excited to see how the "check in check out" process this business model supports will work.
The pick up and delivery is great. However I have not been able to cancel my account for months now. The charge just keeps hitting my account and I can’t get anyone on the phone to resolve. Absolutely nightmare, use at your own risk.
Clutter made a great offer. I can’t argue with that. Setting up the appointment was easy although doing the virtual walk-through so that AI could guess what I was going to be storing was a little confusing and not very well explained on the website. But then again I’m a 66-year-old man so who knows? Maybe I just didn’t understand it. What I did understand was that the customer service via Zendesk, left a little bit to be desired. But when I placed a call to the company, they cleared up all my confusion. Again, I’m older and I just like talking to people. All the frustrations though went away when the two movers came to load up my stuff. They couldn’t have been nicer people. They worked hard. There was no complaining about the stairs or the cold weather. They were just highly professional and really brought the clutter brand to life. I would use them again in a heartbeat as long as my heart keeps beating, as I mentioned I’m getting up there, and this is probably my last move.
