we have an annual BBQ for friends & family in August and Carolina Brothers has catered our Party for several years, including next week's event. The food and service are outstanding, and they come equipped with a tent, tables and serving equipment's. we have people come to our event because we tell them who the caterer is1 we order the ribs, chickens, pulled pork and beef for 50 and bring carry out containers for everyone to take home the generous leftovers.

Well, you asked for feedback, so here goes. I ordered my oven on July 19th 2024. On August 16th I got a note saying the oven had shipped, but it hasn't. I reached out to Carbon Support on August 27th, and their response was that the oven did not pass inspection so it wasn't shipped. I am now waiting for a status update as of August 31st, a holiday weekend. So I'm just hoping they reply soon when everyone is back in the office. I'll gladly update this rating once I get the oven. I'm not mad, just waiting patiently. I have heard good things about this product and I am eager to expand my catering business

Oven gets incredibly hot and the reheat time between pizzas is minimal. I’ve been very happy with the oven. Would like to see the burner dials moved to the front of the oven to make temperature adjustments easier.

This is my second replacement
This is my second replacement. I'm thrilled that the cooking temperatures are not only back to being as low as they were on my original oven, but they may even be a bit lower. I make a NY style that I aim for a 5-6 minute cook time, and on my first replacement the temps were way higher and I struggled.With that being said, I'm not super thrilled that the knob for the lower burner struggles to turn properly. Given the fact that this is now the third oven, I would have thought that someone would have perhaps gone over things with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything was perfect.The problem isn't the end of the world. It just gets stuck about halfway when going from high over to low. I have found that I can just rotate it back and forth a time or two and it goes past just fine. Not thrilled, but given the lower temps this cooks at, I don't know if I care to risk complaining.I won't lie that I definitely have concerns. My first oven developed some unusual spots inside that looked like overheating metal. There also was some sort of liquid / solder type metal that was slowly working its way along the top of the oven where the sheets of metal overlap that was concerning. It eventually led to the first oven being replaced. The second oven arrived and from the very first use, cook temps were much hotter and they got there much faster. They weren't astronomically higher, but with the original oven I could get it to hover around 620-650 on low. The second oven would rocket to the mid 700s in no time. After about a month, the hose connecting the propane tank melted off the back of the oven, adhered itself to one of the wooden legs of my grilling area, and proceeded to try setting it on fire. It was caught before that could happen, but I now get to live in fear with this third oven in hopes that it doesn't happen again.So far so good, but I'm bummed about the knob for the low burner not working properly and being at a slight angle. I realize Carbon is a new company and likely making changes / improvements with design over time. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have already seen a few changes in the ovens between my first one and third one. Just somewhat disappointed that I'm on my third one in about 8 months, and that even this third one has a problem. It's seemingly minor, but I don't feel like it should be there at $800.

The quality and functionality of the oven is great! I had one of the original Ooni ovens and this is a whole different experience!Still experimenting with level of heat and placement, but pizzas have been already turning out pretty great.

I purchased a oven from carbon earlier this year, i recently had a whoopsie and damaged part of the oven. I reached out carbon for some help with a replacement part. And within a few emails we were able to figure out what i needed and was replaced from carbon for me. Great customer service!
