Everything a restauraunt should not be.
I thought the French pride themselves on their cuisine, unfortunately the worst two meals I have ever eat, have been in France. Tried CourtePaille Saint Jean de Luz. I will be brief, long wait for table. Long wait for table service, abrupt and unattentive staff,Ordered their special sausage, a child could of cooked it better, a simple dish, sausage and chips, with a bit of dried lettuce on the side, first attempt overcooked burnt and dry, second attempt look good until I tasted it, shock horror centre was still frozen, when I complained I was treated with contempt on both occasions, second occasion I asked if I could change it for a burger, I was told, no I will cook this warmer and they took it away and put it on the grill, and guess what when it returned, ye it was warm but very dry, lost the will to live and could not wait to get out the restaurant.

Our family visit to this Rodez…
Our family visit to this Rodez restaurant was a shambles from start to finish. We could not wait to leave....My uncle took my dad and I who are visiting from UK, as a special treat. We were left in a table in the corner until we managed to flag down a waitress who took our order. We went there for the mixed grill and they said it was off the menu! We then waited for another 15 minutes for the wine to arrive after we had flagged down another waitress. A further ten minutes and we were told they had forgotten to pass our order to the kitchen. A further 15 minutes and our meal arrived without the sauce. No one offered us mayonnaise, vinegar etc (only mustard, salt and pepper on the table).The steak was tough, dry and had little flavour. No one came to check if the meal was ok. No apology, no free pudding offered. A real let down.Give it a clear berth on bank holidays especially. We won't be going back there...
