My first book I had published all had illustrstions done by Daisy Blue. The lady who published my book created a lovely charming read. For my second book I had to approach Daisy Blue myself as the lovely lady who published me, sadly passed away. What can I say though. I was eased through the process step by step. Again the illustrations are fabulous. Daisy Blue this time taking me through the publishing process as well. I am over the moon for what Daisy Blue has done for me. I can't thank them enough.

Daisy Blue Publishing is a solid option for authors working with a tight budget. They provide the core services outlined in their packages and deliver what is promised—nothing more, nothing less. While they may not be a company that goes above and beyond, they are consistent in sticking to the scope of the agreed-upon package.At times, certain aspects of the process felt a bit rushed, which may have stemmed from occasional miscommunications. There were moments when I felt my vision wasn’t fully understood or translated exactly as I intended. Clear, detailed communication is essential when working with them, especially since there can be a communication barrier.It’s also important to note that if you prefer frequent phone communication, this may not be the best fit. Aside from the initial setup call, communication is handled primarily through email.I used Daisy Blue Publishing for formatting, cover art placement, and both ebook and paperback publishing. Overall, for my first project, they were helpful, budget-friendly, and provided a straightforward introduction to the publishing process. If I choose to work with them again, I would simply ensure that my expectations and vision are communicated very clearly from the start.I would recommend Daisy Blue Publishing to first-time independent authors who are on a tight budget and may not yet have the knowledge or experience to navigate the book publishing process on their own.

They made sure I was satisfied with my pencil sketches, color sketches and Cover design. They do a lot! Just ask them and they’ll help you!

Okay, I thought DaisyBlu might be a try ($215 a month) but after they got the cash DB sent a requirement - how old are you? date of birth? quotes? books that you like to read - what advantages will the world gain from your books?- what motivates you in life? - and on DB barfed.If you're looking for a book promotion, I'd suggest you find an adult instead of someone fluttering around flowers and weeds you can smoke. -bluegirl loves the ganja.

I have tried many companies or individuals to promote my book and Daisyblue stands out from the rest. I used them for marketing first and they actually bothered to inform me very week what they did and what happened in consequence. Very helpful to me. Thy are to be wholly trusted. Questions were answered promtly. I then used them to update my website which they did well, to my taste and alterations were no problem. I was never made to feel a nuisance when I wanted changes. Helpful, nice people. I only wish I could meet them to thank them. I know they have other services and would happily use them for services as I need them. The costs are reasonable which when you are a struggling author these days with so much competition, is important.

Published books are not in proper kindle format…
This is my third update of this review. After some weeks of cajoling, Daisyblue are currently onto their fourth attempt to publish a functioning kindle novel on behalf of one of my author colleagues. Led by much advice and coaching from me, they have now got to the point where they have produced and published a kindle book that does have text flow (mostly) and correct hyphenation (only at the ends of lines, not in the middle!) but still has weird and radically inconsistent paragraph spacing, no navigation between chapters, and bits of typography that appear to have been copied from a pdf, with misplaced page and line endings and no text flow. Readers of kindle books will not want this substandard product.Their website is full of empty hyperbole, (renowned expertise... team of experts... etc). Actually, it is not clear whether they have any experience whatsoever in publishing text based kindle books, or whether my colleague's book is their first attempt. They do claim to have published various out-of-copyright classics, but the links to Amazon ostensibly relating to these go to non-existent Amazon pages. I could not recommend this outfit to any author wanting to publish a kindle novel.Any author considering using their editing and proofreading services would be advised to look carefully at their website, eg the page on self publishing, (which is possibly a bad translation by AI of some web-page in another language somewhere else?) If this is the standard of proof reading you require, go ahead. Publish on Branes and noble. Good luck.[ No change in my rating.]
