Bad and Turned Good

My experience started out sort of sour.But a young lady named Stanley fixed everything. She was very professional and listened to my complaint and assured me she would take care of everything. She took care of everything and turned what could have been Very Bad experience into something Great.

Theft and Fraud

We went into the business and bought a power card to play games and put $90.00 worth of chips on it. We played one game and then left. Later, when I went to check the balance of the card, it was almost empty. I filled out their web form and got a call from them. Shea, the lady I spoke with, was able to look at the card transactions and said that only "4 or 5 dollars" was put on the card and confirmed the one game played. She said to go check for the charge on our credit/debit card and call her back with it. We did that and confirmed the $90.00 charge on the date in question. However, she never answered the phone again and did not respond to several voice mails I left over a couple of weeks. They basically stole $85.00 from us and we want it back.

They said the card did not go through…

They said our card did not go through as we were walking out 3 hours after we had cashed out. When they asked me to pay again I asked what they would have done if I had not stopped to ask a question and I quote "ugh we would have comped it out" to which I replied "then why can't you do that now". They then charged my credit card a second time. Not to mention the the food took almost an hour and it all was cold.

Disappointed Veteran

I was very disappointed with my experience, especially on Veterans Day. As a veteran, I came in expecting to be treated with basic respect, but instead, I waited over almost 3 hours for my food while watching other customers come and go with theirs.It honestly felt like I was being made to wait on purpose after I mentioned I wanted my food to go. The waitress seemed surprised that I wasn’t dining in, and after that, my order was delayed far longer than anyone else’s.To make things worse, I was supposed to receive a $10 game card, but it was never offered. By the time my food was finally ready, I was so disappointed that I just left without it.As a veteran, I felt ignored and dishonored on a day meant to show appreciation. I truly hope management addresses this and treats all guests—especially veterans—with the respect we deserve.

The season pass is horrible

The season pass is horrible. Only limited amount of tickets which only 1k which is nothing. Also I paid over $100 for a pass that doesn't let me use it on holidays. The food also sucks.

Good food & great service! Fun Atmosphere!

Dave and Buster's 21001 N Tatum Blvd Suite 44-1400, Phoenix, AZ 85050It seems that our experiences with Dave and Buster's keeps getting better and better. My husband and I moved here from Mississippi, and I can tell you our taste in food, is picky. We love well seasoned food, not just salt and pepper. Even the fries at this establishment are seasoned well. All our food was delicious and our weekly outings now include Dave and Buster's. I'm so glad we found this place and consider it a blessing to know each time we visit, it's going to be a great and fun experience. It's a part of Desert Ridge Shopping Marketplace in North Phoenix.

1st and last time here Mobile al

Here at Dave and busters now 7/14/2025 got here at about 7:15 PM got my grandson a play card we went to be seated to eat and as of 8:06 PM.we have a server has not came to our table yet to even get a drink order asked the hostess where was the server for our area she stated that she'll get someone the young lady she was talking too came to the table in front of us and walked back to the food pick up window so we got up had I known that tge level of service was like this there is know way I would've purchased a play card this was my first and last time here definitely not spending money to flag someone down to take a order that I'm paying for

Theft of time and money.

Dave and Buster’s… what is there to say? The arcade was genuinely fun. The food? Surprisingly good. But the moment it came time to cash out tickets, everything fell apart.My friend had nearly 10,000 tickets stolen — yes, stolen — by management. He had earned those points fair and square from a machine that continuously prompted “Spin Again,” clearly encouraging continued play. When the machine stopped awarding points and he went to redeem them, the managers refused to honor the ticket total. They chalked it up to a "mechanical error" and refused to take responsibility. No apology. No solution. Just a cold dismissal and a wiped balance.That’s not a business. That’s theft. No different than a rigged casino that gets upset when you win too much. This wasn’t an honest mistake — it was corporate pickpocketing.Check your employee logs. You’ll find the truth.

Read ALL fine print before purchasing ANYTHING. Branch managers and coorporate offices LIE.

Purchased a summer pass due to info told to me and then the info received was different. Corporate office lies also. Time out period online stated 30 sec wait but it was 45 at most machines. Was told they made it better by changing the time to 45 on line.

Bought the Silver Season Pass (actually…

Bought the Silver Season Pass (actually 3 of them). Kids discovered no tickets are given with this pass. I went to manager, he said we could call customer service to get a refund. They said NO, Refund. Beward of the Summer Season Passes. I am out over $200.

Giant Touch Screens Required to Place Orders!

We'd always enjoyed visits to Dave & Buster's locations in the past. The food was always good (even if slightly over-priced) and there were lots of fun games. Typically we'd visit at a time during the week when the place wouldn't be jam-packed, so that service and access to games would be better. We decided to visit a different D & B's recently because that location has old-fashioned skee-ball, a family favorite. We expected that with global economic changes this year and by visiting on a weekend that the visit would be more much more costly and food service might not be as good. However, it is other changes at D&B's that caused us to take a brief look at the menu and gaming options and then turn right around and walk out the door! First, the cost of a blank game card has been raised from two dollars to three. The 'structure' of the 'experience' has changed so that it is no longer convenient to go play games first then sit down to a meal. One of the payment options (roughly $60 ) is a TIMED experience for playing games, limited to just 90 minutes! That sounds like fraudulent advertising, because on the menu it says "unlimited game play" at that price! So how is turning off the card at 90 minutes "unlimited?" We were stilling willing to spend time and money at D&B's at that point, but the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back is when I asked the staff (there were TWO of them standing around right there!) at the entrance podium/desk to take my order for new game cards loaded for 90-minute play. That's when she said, "Oh, you have to use the kiosk!" There were three GIANT touch screens by which orders must be placed. Neither of the first two screens worked, so she directed us to the third one; that one was sluggish and froze. Then she said that she would call the manger or we could go all the way to the back of the establishment to try another kiosk. Say what??? Three that don't work so we're supposed to walk all the way to the back of the restaurant to another one that might or might not work? The manager didn't show up during this time, and we waited at least five minutes or so. Other people began to line up behind us and that's when we turned back around and left. In general, I don't suffer foolishness gladly! Just how foolish is it a business would have two employees just hanging out at a sign-in station, doing a whole lot of nothing and not be able to take orders from customers? D&B's used to have real live people taking orders from customers. Now they seem to think that having people put their hands all over filthy giant touch screens is a good idea! Who knows just how often they clean those miserable things! Skee-ball is still lots of fun, but I'll probably wait until there's an opportunity at a state fair or something to play it. Dave & Buster's is definitely NOT worth the price and aggravation anymore.

Really disappointing experience

Really disappointing experience. The drinks were super weak barely any alcohol, just tasted watered down. One of our friends got sick from the food, and my chicken sandwich was undercooked. The fried chicken was cold and had no flavor. The games were alright, but some machines took our tokens without working, which was frustrating. Definitely expected better.

Overpriced and Poor Service

We recently visited Dave & Buster's for the games but the prices were too high, the tables weren’t clean, and the customer service was slow. After waiting forever, the food was just okay not worth the cost at all. Really disappointed this time.

Great for games horrible for eating.

My son loves going for the games, but the restaurant service is horrible! It doesn’t matter if it’s busy are slow they take forever to even acknowledge you exist.

VERY poor cleanliness & service!!

I went ahead & made a reservation for 7 pm on a Saturday thinking my friends and I were going to have a nice dinner & a fun-filled night… Turns out I was completely misconstrued. We got there at 6:55 & I went to the hostess to tell them I had a reservation & they completely ignored me & proceeded to tell me to wait. No one helped me for 15 minutes, so I went back up to tell them again. They told me to wait 5 minutes for a table to be cleaned. My friends and I then finally got seated & the table was disgusting. Very sticky & had a remanence of human bodily fluids of some sort. Not to mention there were 7 of us & we were seated in a booth & were crammed in there. Our waitress seemed nice but then took forever with everything. We waited 30 minutes at least to order drinks so we ordered drinks & our food at the same time when they finally arrived. The drinks took forever to arrive & the food then took at least an hour to come out as well. Even then so all of the food was brought out one at a time. We were not given any silverware so we politely asked for some & by the time that arrived our food was cold. I must say this was the worst experience I have ever had at a “restaurant” if you’ll even call it that. After an at least 3 hour “service” we FINALLY were able to go to the arcade section & that was an even bigger disappointment. I honestly can’t tell you which part of that night was worse, the food service or the entertainment… Needless to say my friends and I will never be going back & I highly do NOT recommend it to anyone!!

Worst environment ever…thought it was…

Worst environment ever…thought it was mainly for adults…go in and there’s 200 12 years old running around and everyone was standing around waiting to be seated…had some group in there wanting donations and they were very very rude ppl…wish I could give negative marks on this place a 1 star rating is way to good

Dave & Busters in Mobile ALA

Dave & Busters in Mobile ALA, has no method of seating. Doesn’t honor reservations, puts you on a list for seating and states 45 minute wait upon returning they state 125 minute wait beyond the 45 minutes. Has young MPD officers standing around in the arcade on their phones. Would not recommend as a family outing.

This is a review on Dave and buster…bad customer service

This is a review on Dave and buster customer service line. Long long waiting time on phone only to ask a simple question and the customer representative have an answer to that. Have to transfer me to an other department where I have to wait another 15 or so minutes for some one to pick up the phone. The question you may asked. Can I use an electronic D&B gift card to pay for the remaining of my bill once I get there? Seriously having to to go through 2 different departments for that?

I'm at Dave and Bustas in Cary NC…

I'm at Dave and Bustas in Cary NC 12/27/24 15:11 p.m. The bar is filthy and the empty tables need to be cleaned. The customer service is terrible too. I'm standing at the bar looking up at the TV waiting to order, when I look down the bartender is staring at me. No may I take your order just looking at me.
