This is a review for Dream Doors NSW
This is a review for Dream Doors NSW , based in Roseville.Within 4 months of installing wall-mounted kitchen shelving units, the shelves started bowing even though they were supported on 3 sides. Apparently a bow of 5mm is within industry norms - what it really means is that Dream Doors does not support its products and will walk quickly away from issues post completion and complaints quickly go into the too hard basket. Plenty of other suppliers out there, so try them first, second, third etc.

ACT, Don't touch this Company!
This is a review for Dream Doors Kitchens ACT Australia. Beware! They have their own Plumber and Electrician but you pay them separately. No quote. So at the end of the job I got an invoice from The "Plumbing Pope" for $2344. This was for, generously, 6 hours work. There were 4 errors in the first invoice. Eg. $65 to cap a gas outlet. I dont have gas. A charge to disconnect a water filter. It was a benchtop filter I had already removed it. It was so full of errors and so expensive I actually asked him if he'd sent me the wrong invoice. He ordered the wrong sink twice. 2 week delay. The second Invoice came down to $2015. If you take off the parts listed in the Invoice he charged me $300 an hour for Labour. I forwarded all of this information to the company who have done nothing. He is still working for Dream Doors Kitchens, ACT. So when you get your quote for you kitchen reno approx. $13,000 its really $17,000. And no I wouldn't have gone ahead with the reno. And they know it. You dont know to add $2344 for the Plumber. The electrician, excellent, including 2 extra power points he was only $850. Dream Doors Kitchens ACT, Sharman, rang and said he would speak to the Plumbing Pope and get him to give me a better break down of the invoice, and he would get him to call me and visit to explain. The "Plumbing Pope" No Call. 3rd Invoice. $ The same. Because of mistakes made by the plumber and the wrong colour bench top, instead of taking 3 weeks this kitchen took 7 weeks to complete. Basics: you only find out that you purchased the "Standard kitchen drawer" when you try to put your old cutlery insert into the draw and it doesn't fit. 4" Shorter and half as deep. Dream Doors Kitchens, ACT are locked into a Franchise with a bench top mason who doesn't call them or their clients. And the shonk of this independent plumber. Its really taken the shine off my new kitchen is it worth approx $17,000. No. BUT My joy, every time someone sees or asks me about my kitchen (42 so far). I get to cost Dream Doors Kitchens ACT Australia $17,000, every time. 2 people waiting to see my new kitchen - just cost you $34,000. The"Plumbing Pope" Calwell, ACT. I get to cost you $2344.00. Every time. Word of Mouth - still the very best advertising. At the beginning of the job I asked the Plumber to change 2 washers in the shower recess, $2344 didnt even get that. I really feel cheated! This company is not Dream Doors Ltd, UK. What I want is a refund of at least $1000 for the plumber, to what it should have cost. Stop this shonky business practice and replace these tiny useless kitchen drawers. I have made it very clear that this is Dream Doors Kitchens, Fyshwick, ACT, Australia. I will not take down this review.

Unprofessional and Unorganized!
I meant to write this months ago as I wanted to warn people about this company but just haven't had time. We had Brett who does the northern area, it all started off nice. I made a few changes to the original plan, that was all ok. But then the job just dragged out longer and longer despite my regular phone calls and he wasn't listening to me and taking note of my requirements. As is it was, I never ended up getting some of the things I requested, because he didn't take note of it. Another problem is the quote. It reads like a timber list and doesn't actually state the style of the doors or the name of the stone or handles. I rung the head office, spoke to reception staff, sent emails to the Manager of Dream Doors, to complain without even a reply email and no follow up. Then when it finally did get installed my husband had to point out the problems to their cabinet maker with things such as the substrate width. Brett never ordered the handles I wanted, despite ordering the doors months earlier, but somehow thought he's wait till installation to order the handles, which by then were discontinued. The company they employ to do the stone can barely speak English so communicating was difficult and then the stone mason puts the join at the opposite end to where we discussed, without any consultation. Meanwhile 16K later, and this is just replacing cupboard doors and bench tops, we kept all the old carcasses. Then the cabinet maker gets abusive with my husband over the phone and swearing at him. Very unprofessional outfit and Brett is just a sales/con man. He doesn't have a clue about what he's doing and he encourages his staff to be the same. I would have been better off getting a proper kitchen company to do a brand new kitchen and it would have been cheaper and less hassle.
