My grandmother has been dead less than 48 hours and representatives from this company forced entry to her home this morning and changed the locks - without notifying the family. I'm not sure if this is legal, but you may want to consider if you want a company who acts in this way to manage your estate on your behalf after you die.
The Probate fees/commission are outrageous. Refused to resign as the Probate Solicitor!
Edward Duthie are amazing lawyers. I had a trial and their very skilled barrister noticed that a previous judge made an error-in-law. They launched an appeal for a previous matter which was won with no contest. Their follow up to correct paperwork and their main solicitor namely Sean Murphy has checked in a few times to ensure all documents are as they should be with the corresponding companies. Very good use of initiative
