Sent a TV unpackaged or bagged. Not signed for as high value item so it was It stolen off doorstep. Courier didn't even knock door. Thankfully purchased through On Buy who cover the item. Birthday ruined as cant afford to replace it . Customer service couldn't care less, upto 14 days to investigate the Courier .We have Cctv in private driveway. Nobody came in or out all day other than the Courier..hmmmm wonder what happened to the TV?? Also was left in the rain ....

I purchased a Tassimo coffee machine from Electric Mania in December 2022 for around £60. Unfortunately, it developed a fault in under three years of normal household use.When I contacted the company, they repeatedly stated they only offer a 12-month warranty, despite my pointing out that UK consumer law requires goods to be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable length of time. After escalation to the CEO, Electric Mania refused to help, stating the fault could not have been present at the time of sale.I am very disappointed with both the product’s durability and the company’s unwillingness to provide any goodwill resolution

This is being posted on behlaf of Ross Hadliegh a 76 yrs old OAP as he cant understand tech..... HIS... Order no 9490-2355-06 from Tesco 3rd party Electonic Mania. I ordered a 17 Litre Halogen Oven Air fryer black. When it arrived I found the plastic top was not fit for purpose. The dials on the top stuck and seriously difficult to adjust. Under the LONG DISTANCE TRADING ACT you can return any item bought online without even givening a reason but I have. I re-packed the item and comenced via TESCO MARKET PLACE A return. I am 76 yrs old and having then ordered a replacement off AMAZON which arrived within 24 hours and was OK and working. I obviously required to get this EMTRONICS one back and refunded, Having had a email confirming return process from TESCO. The (TESCO) said that Electric Mania would be in touch within 2 working day. 4 days later NOT one word, no phone call, no email, no nothing, I contacted TESCO they gave me this number 01189775506. There was no option on that line for returns nor any option related to returns. I spoke to Tech and also Business dept's before one lady (who could hardly speak English that was understandable) said they were NOT ALLOW to help and they had not been allowed data reguards re-direction (Obviously this company has that bad a reputation and sells that much junk they try to AVOID returns in the hope -you will give up trying and just keep their crap) NO CHANCE I WILl return this item by hand in PERSON and leave it on reception at TESCO;s store and then take legal action unless this is sorted. I will be contacting TRADING STANDARDS locally as well. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT buying even a clothes peg off this company.

Ordered a mini fridge for our campervan ,this was fitted a few weeks after purchase found that their was fault with 12 volt electrics get hot but ok on 240 volts. Contact company who promised to have a technician contact me , nothing for days just kept getting robbed off . This company is a waste of space selling faulty goods,and run by clowns.

Worst company i have ever dealt with. My microwave oven developed an electrical burning smell. I contacted Electrical Mania who requested i return the oven to their warehouse to be checked/repaired. I contacted them every day for three weeks only to be fobbed off with various excuses. They had no intention of resolving my issue. I have now given up with them.

Waiting for my bank to issue a Section 75 claim. Had a faulty TV in December, replaced it. Same fault with the next one. Have now refused to refund it even though Lloyds Bank gave me a letter to give to them informing them of my rights - after weeks of arguing no TV or money. Bought a replacement from AO. If you're looking for a retailer - find another one. In the meantime, let's get ready for a county claim. Ended up getting Lloyds Bank to issue a chargeback for this, despite the face they've received the return 3 weeks ago and asked for bank details, they did nothing to sort it.

I purchased an EMtronics airfryer in January 2025 and after a few weeks, noticed a rubbery smell everytime I prepared a meal.I tried to return and was told I could not after only a few weeks and the item is faulty.My advice would be to go to a reputable shop to purchase with the safety net if there is a fault, you can return.They have clearly put a short guarantee in place because they know the items are poorly made.

This seller would get zero stars if…
This seller would get zero stars if they were available. Sending parcels with original boxes not covered at Christmas is shocking, then expecting the buyer to pay the package and posting to send back as cannot use the item as the child has seen it is appalling. Will never be buying from these charlatans again.

There is no code on any universal remotes for this make of TV I would not recommend buying this make of tv as you cannot even get a phone number for customer service. It says its based in Devon but there is no other information about where and who makes this product I definitely would not recommend this make of TV.

Oh my what a disaster I purchased through eBay an air fryer oven with rotisserie, rotisserie worked fine three times then fell apart with the chicken on it, contacted customer service who sent returns label and said a new replacement would be sent I was horrified to find a used one with grease and food particles in it, I complained and requested my money back but as it was past the 30days eBay couldn't help and they did not want to pay me back, if I said I was blunt to the point of rudeness it might just cover my response however after three weeks of chasing and being told 48 hours it will be back I have eventually got my money back. I have had to give one star but I would have preferred to have left no stars as this has been so very stressful it has never been worth it, please be sure you do your research before you purchase anything from this company. I must add the lady I did eventually speak to was very nice but to speak to a manager who should have dealt with me and my complaint is Luke looking for hens teeth I'm certain they don't exist......,

Purchased EMtronics TV online through B&Q.... BIG MISTAKE.. TV arrived with damaged screen and EMtronics do all they can to delay the return. This should have been a no quibble replacement but it was not to be. To add insult to injury a 1 year warranty is also offered, good luck with that one if they won't even replace a faulty item on receipt of it. This is the first and last EMtronics product I will purchase. Trying to return the TV and you are dictated to regards their returns policy. It's not good practice or customer friendly. Buyer beware!!!! The unit has ended up on the skip where it belongs. Had the TV been in working order it was clear to me the quality was of very poor cheap sub standard.I am annoyed with myself for purchasing it but it is a lesson learnt... Never buy electrical goods online. This review is not even worthy of one star!!

Bought a 16L mini cooler. It barely runs and when on max mode, makes an horrendous noise (fan).Called EM. They insist they don't deal with orders or anything on phone. I spoke to a woman eventually it in some sort of department called Joanne (don't think they are in this country - so what's new?)She wouldn't give me a chance to explain the full situation to her and constantly spoke over me and wondered why I shouted for her to let me speak - she still wouldn't let me so I ended up swearing and putting the phone down on her. I tried calling again 5 minutes later to see if someone else answered but it was her again - seems she's the only one available to take calls. She's extremely rude, won't give you a chance to explain the situation for constantly interrupting you and they wonder why you swear and hang up when they are rude to you first!!! £57.00 down the drain because as I tried to explain, I need to return this item as it's not functioning correctly and she wouldn't give me a chance to answer any questions she asked about the situation without being rude!DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ,- IF YOU DO, ITS AT YOUR OWN RIST OF LOSING £££'s

I had to edit quite a bit of information out of this review due to the character limit. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does.First and foremost, this should be a lesson to any company to seriously consider who is at the forefront of the customer service team and responding to issues like mine, as I’m fairly certain if the person I was initially dealing with was competent at customer service and professional, most, if not all of the failings wouldn’t have happened.I am a verified buyer of 2 air conditioning units sold by this company on Amazon.This company will NOT support you if there are problems UNTIL the absolute last moment. For me, despite calling 3 times and asking for a manager over several days, it wasn’t until I reported this company to the fraud team (and told the person I’d been dealing with) that I finally had a helpful manager that actually sent more than a few words, and acknowledged issues, and helped in alleviating some of the problems. I have experienced first hand how difficult and dismissive they can be, very poor professionalism, communication, and general care.I had one of the Emtronics 9000 BTU air conditioners which I purchased through Amazon. I was quite impressed, though around a year later, it started kicking out warm air constantly and even troubleshooting in the instructions didn’t work. I emailed the company, they just told me to go through Amazon. Amazon refunded me.I then wanted to give Emtronics another chance, and support a local UK business rather than some chinese company. I purchased with the refund; their 12,000 BTU model. When this arrived, it didn’t work.Ever since dealing with the company about this, it has screamed unprofessionalism and lack of care. It seems like they want to make it as hard as possible to aid in the customer returning a faulty product because they don’t want to have to refund. Maybe if they were fast to help and respond, customers would maybe give them another chance.My experience was that bad, I would rather never have air conditioning ever again and suffer, than to give them my custom, because I’d have zero confidence in them. The lady that messages on Amazon called Charlene, I don’t think she belongs in customer service at all. She basically told me that just because she has a similar unit and hers works fine, she couldn’t understand why mine isn’t working. I’ve never had the misfortune of dealing with someone so inept and seemingly uneducated to the point they can’t grasp a conversation, even where the customer is basically doing half of their job for them, and trying to ensure they know when a collection is coming and being booked. And even then, she went on to book a collection for the opposite day to that requested.They eventually sorted out a DPD collection for me, unfortunately for me DPD failed to find my address and told me I need to get the seller to reschedule all over again. She provided no tracking number, and I called DPD and gave my post code and then they said nothing was ever booked, so they lied about this, or changed it again without informing me. Terrible communication.Then I spent £40 of my own money to send it to them with a Courier under Amazon management’s own advice.When I thought things were finally getting on to being sorted, as I expected UPS to deliver it to them on 15th August, the courier said they weren’t able to deliver, then management said the driver informed them that there is nobody at the address given; as in, no company there at all, they had moved on. Leading me to believe that it was a scam. I later found out that the company had just moved (although still bizarre not to update this when Amazon had their old address down for returns.) I reported them to action fraud due to this, because of what I’d experienced and the delays in communication I had with Charlene.In the end, I was helped by a manager called Reni, and all due respect; they did help to get this sorted, and they contacted UPS on my behalf and got the package rerouted to their actual return address.
