We go back time and time again because of their attention to detail, willingness to listen and hear, their creativity, willingness to help and all done in a spirit of joy. We have used their services for a full kitchen remodel, bathroom update, carpet replacement, painting services and help, and more. Creative, knowledgeable on budget
Carolyn Manhatton is an outstanding designer. She will bring any project into the 21st. century with lovely selection of colors, textiles, granite, Cambria, and flooring. Absolutely her talents are far superior and she has a commitment to providing excellent service. What a combination! Paint color, carpet and wallpaper. These people are amazing! It's great to come to one place and get help choosing and knowing you're getting a great finished product. They can really see how it's going to come together.

Good Paint!!!
I had no idea the difference high quality paint makes. My wife and I just purchased a new home. We wanted to modernize the colors of the bedrooms and so I decided to see Jean at Excelsior Paint and Design. I had met Jean at a lunch event and she invited me over to the store to see everything they had. Jean introduced me to Jim who knows paint like the back of his hand. We ended up with some pricey paint (Benjamin Moore's highest end stuff) and I was a little reluctant at first to go big but I'm really glad I did. The quality of this stuff was awesome. Totally different than Home Depot's high end Behr paint. It spread perfectly and was great for cutting in my lines. It rolls on nicely and has the best coverage I have ever seen! The most important part is that it looks WAY thicker and smoother in the color. WOW! Spend some $$$ on your paint and you will be so much happier.

Bedroom carpet
Love my new carpet! They showed me several options and I went with Masland Corniche (Color is Luminous; t's a two-toned beige). I wanted the room to look large so I went with a light color. It's been in for a few months and is looking great and very comfy to walk on. Figuring it out had been a little tricky because I have a large, long walk-in closet that takes a lot of carpet and I forget that large closets add to the cost of the carpet (of course). Carolyn and her planners helped figure out the most cost effective way to cut the carpet to allow for that, so it worked out just fine.

We love our new carpet
Carolyn and her team worked with us and helped us select the right carpeting for our home. The installers were great and it was easy to work with them. The carpeting has made a big difference in our home.

Carolyn is full of good, clever ideas. Installer was good about holding on installation to make sure needed fixes were taken care of before completing the job. EP&D helped me get the job done so it would be right and would last.

This store provides excellent service. The staff is professional and knowledgeable of their products. Picking out paint colors or carpeting can be daunting. The staff listens to the customer and is helpful with suggestions regarding the customer's wants and needs. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs paint and/or design help for their home.

Excellent knowledge and customer service!
We have carpeted 3 rooms with the help of Carolyn and Beau and are beyond happy over the experience.They were willing to bring samples to our home,and with Carolyn's very artistic decorating talent she chose just the perfect colors and textures!We will definitely go back, and have recommended Carpet One in Excelsior to our friends!
