They are unwilling to assist with the most basic issues and once you close your account you can never open another down the line which they fail to mention.
I've been messaging and emailing them for 2 days to cancel membership - no one is helping They will be increasing membership from $8 to $20What kind of a robbery is this?
I feel scammed, this company stopped working with the card "due to supposed improvements" and they ask me to validate my ID and address data again in order to reissue a new card, where they send me a link to do so via email that does not work. It has been 4 weeks since the problem existed and they do not provide solutions, they only say that you have to wait, this seems intentional.

I had a dispute regarding an accidental purchase I made on an app. I could not find the receipt from the App Store in my email which was needed to get a refund from the app itself. I used my Extra card to accidentally make the purchase it’s what’s connected to my Apple Pay. Fast-forward the conversation goes. I let them know at Extra that I made an accidental purchase. Fast-forward a few more days and my phone bill and all of these other purchases are being declined by Extra. I delve into it a bit and discover that the extra representative that I was speaking to took it upon herself to freeze my card without even telling me. I was not asked if I wanted to freeze my card I was not informed that my card was being frozen. They just did it and transactions were declined. I have auto pay set up for my phone and I get a discount for it, which I will not receive because of this employee overstepping. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Previously, I had an employee from Extra completely canceled the card that I had marking it lost or stolen. I don’t even remember what the issue was, but it was nothing at all that would’ve prompted such a response. I was also not informed that the card was canceled and when that happened, I received multiple late fees for accounts that were supposed to go out through Extra. This company has cost me money for no reason. Their employees do not seem to think it’s important to let you know that you cannot use or access a card that you have with them. Racking up fines and late fee fees because of their ignorance and negligence. I am beyond sick of this company. I’ve written them multiple times today and I cannot get a response. I’ve tried calling them. You cannot get through to a person they only allow you to leave voicemails in which they claim that they will call you back within 24 hours. So it doesn’t matter if you have an urgent situation at hand, they will not get back to you promptly. Card place as a joke I’m about to cancel with them. The only reason I even kept the card was because of the gift cards and they no longer have those so it’s basically useless. It’s done nothing to help my credit whatsoever. It’s just a waste of money.
I Highly Do Not Recommend This it is a waste of $25 a month it hasn't helped my credit score go up at all since I've signed up they don't report to the credit bureau like it says they do. it is a total waste of money! I've had more progress with other credit repair companies at a whole lot cheaper price and i actually see where they report. Extra hasn't helped me at all its a waste of money

Don’t do it people I’m telling you. They will take money out your bank account and will not report to the credit bureaus. I used them for three months and they never reported anything. It’s a waste of money and your score will not improve.

I had to have my card sent to a different address and the customer service is and was awesome. I've dealt with Ken, and he was more than and beyond polite, courteous and knowledgeable. I haven't started using my card yet, so I haven't really seen an increase in points so far. But I can forsee the experience with Extra being very good.
Love Extra and have been a member for years. They have helped me build my credit from nothing. Honestly this product is GENIUS. How a credit card should function!
