Charlie Weighman was a delight to work with! She worked hard at finding matching colors for my room decor and was excellent at room measurements and keeping the pricing in my budget. Bill Turner and Steve Robinson were terrific installers. I recommend them to all and will use them again when I need more carpeting or rugs in the future. Sandy F
I had a very positive, helpful, and informative encounter with sales representative, Charlie Weighman at Floor Covering Brokers in Traverse City. I feel Charlie went above and beyond being helpful to find just the right type of carpet would best suit my needs. I enjoyed working with her and will definitely be looking to work with her further with my home flooring needs.
We purchased carpet for bedrooms and a family room 2 years ago. Kristen was our salesperson and couldn't have been more helpful. She's excellent and very knowledgeable. Just recently the carpet had two small bubbles develop and I contacted her. She had an installer come immediately and he did a great job. It's been 2 years and I'm hard pressed to think many carpet stores would happily get a repair done 2 years after the install. Kristen even contacted me to ask if we were satisfied and we're more than satisfied. If we ever need carpet again we'll only go to Floor Covering Brokers Carpet One and we'll not bother with the rest.
This place is so incredibly frustrating. First, our sales person was out of the office for a month and no one else was able to handle our order despite being repeat customers. Next, it took them weeks to get out to our house to take measurements. After measurements were done, and after we selected carpet, they said they'd get us on their schedule for install, which was over a month later. On the day scheduled for install, they didn't show up--no call, no show. When we called, they said they would come on another day. On that day, they dropped the carpet pad off and didn't install anything. When we called to find out why, they said that they needed further instructions from us about the areas in which the carpet would be applied. So, instead of calling us on the day they were supposed to install (and dropped off the pad), they just left because they needed further instruction. We called again. They said that they would install on another day. On that day, again, no call, no show. When we called, they said that they had to send the carpet to "binding" and would need another week to have that done. Now, we can't even get a firm answer on when our carpet will be installed and they've been holding up the rest of our construction project now for months.

Excellent install. Finished upstairs and our 2 level stairway in the same day. We have a living room, multi angle hallway, bedroom, and 2 closets that they re-carpeted and re-padded. No seams are visible, and they did a very good job tucking the stairway stepsNice and soft to walk on.
Everyone I work with at FCB is very friendly and works hard to take care of my needs.
Sales person was great to work with. Warehouse personnel were good. Definitly go back for flooring if and when we need it.
My experience in the store was good and the installers were excellent. My complaint is that I wasn’t told that the carpet I had selected would be difficult on stairs and would show all the staples. I am not ‘thrilled’ as I had hoped to be. For my husband and me it was an expensive decision to replace the old carpeting and I wanted to be completely happy. I like the living room and bedroom, but every time I go up and down the stairs and see all the staples I am not happy. The carpet installers told me that I should have been made aware.
We were very happy with our salesperson. She led us to what we were looking for and was very knowledgeable about the products. When it came to the finishing products we needed she showed us samples that were relevant to what we were buying. I don't care for the owners of Floor Covering Brokers but at least they are smart enough to hire good people.

FLOOR CIBERING BROKERS WAS MY BEST EXPERIENCE THROUGH THE ENTIRE BUILDING PROCESS. KIM AND MICHAEL ARE THE MOST PATIENT FOLKS EVER. THEY LISTEN CLOSELY. THEY TRULLY ENDEAVOR TO UNDERSTAND YOUR VISION AND WORK HARD TO CREATE YOUR DREAM. I CAME TO THEM SEVERAL TIMES IN CRISIS MODE NEEDING JUST THE RIGHT TILE ASAP, AND THEY ALWAYS CAME THROUGH. I LOVE MY KITCHEN AND BATHROOM TILE. I highly recommend Kim and Michael at FLOOR COVERING BROKERS IN TRAVERSE CITY.
