NT630 ELITE Scanner (Lifetime Updates)
I have been emailing a support rep. after researching and exhausting all possible resolutions within my control, realizing finally my scanner was removed from my account on their end. I wanted to get reregistered so I could update it and use the other functions. I was told in every e-mail response that my scanner is old and was discontinued, we suggest you purchase a new one. I like the scanner but they do not support their customer. The NT630PLUS is identical and uses identical software and is the same age, but they decided to discontinue my model and refuse to send me a TF card for the 630PLUS or help me get it registered again. I lost faith in their company.

614 that won't update or communicate. Can't sign in
614. Can't get signed in or updated and it says it can't communicate with my 2010 transit connect or 2000 f250. As far as I'm concerned I'd have spent better money on a fishing pole or dope

NT530+ with the extra ferrari software…
NT530+ with the extra ferrari software purchase was a waste of time. I have a 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider.I wanted specifically to diagnose my braking System and F1 System. Eric at Foxwell could only communicate in email one time every few days so it took over a month to confirm the system wont work on my F1 or brake system.Horrible experience

Scanner wont do anything advertised at all. As far as i can tell, I bought a toaster. That wont even toast. Support is non-existent. What a waste of time and money. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

Scanner is excellent but back up is…
Scanner is excellent but back up is non-existent. Log into Foxwell site for upgrades only to be told my scanner is not registered to me. Sent photos of serial nos but still no response from Foxwell. $400 scanner now worth 0 without the upgrade. Good tool but poor support.

I bought a Foxwell BT301 battery test…
I bought a Foxwell BT301 battery tester from Aliexpress.(i already have problem-free foxwell obd scanner) It was double the price as the competitions but I thought, the quality had to be paid. And to my surprise, unfortunately, the instrument was not accurate what I told them.(measuring reference was a professional battery tester unit) They started to explain that the more I use the more accurate it will be :-) Sure. Even the most professional measuring instruments must be manually calibrated from time to time. The point is that I should have returned at my own expense, which would have been half the cost of the instrument. I do not recommend buying their product because if there is a problem with it, they will not take the responsibility. Fortunately it was not so expensive unit, so my loss was not too high... But no more foxwell product in the future...

Misleading “Lifetime Update” – Dishonest Company
bought a diagnostic device from this company because they advertised it with lifetime updates included. That was the main reason I trusted them and invested my money. Now, only a few years later, they tell me the product is discontinued and updates are no longer available. Instead of honoring their promise, they want me to pay $130 more for a new device. This is completely unfair and misleading.A company that sells products with a “lifetime update” guarantee should respect that commitment. Otherwise, it is false advertising.Very disappointed and I do not recommend buying from this company. Be careful — they do not stand by their own promises.

Bi-Directional Buyer Beware
Some Foxwell units require require a non ODB cable to become bi-directional. No directions come with this cable, and they tell you to seek professional assistance to use it. In my case the cable plugged into the the cables of the security gateway located behind the dash under the radio. This required the removal of the dash facia, radio and security Gateway to use it.

Beware! Do not buy this Scan tool, I purchased a Foxwell NT530 scanner…
I purchased a Foxwell NT530 scan tool with two softwares included for DIY diagnostic and servicing of my Mercedes Bench & Toyota Highlander SUVs. Very seldom use but after 2 years suddenly all the softwares has disappeared including the built-in OBD so I contactef Foxwelltech. With numerous emails I was advised to replace the micro SD card with a brand new unit. Used supplied card reader, format the new micro sd card and created SN file with unit serial no on it then download the existing softwares to the Foxwell website but unable to download the softwares even if multiple attempt. Foxwelltech engineers was unable to help fix the problem. They said remote technical support is no longer applicable to my scan tool serial number. My $300 scan tool is now useless and no further help or assistance from Foxwell. Will never buy any products from Foxwell again,

Foxwell NT710
Foxwell NT710I bought a Foxwell NT710 because of the advertised capabilities of being able to do full system diagnosis and comprehensive data display on Porsche models. Not sure if mine came defective but It cannot access the majority of the data of my 2003 Porsche Boxster S. Tried to get support from Foxwell but after months and several emails to them providing everything they asked for, they were not able to solve my device issues and refused to take it back and reimburse me. Very disappointed with this product and WILL NOT recommend it to any Porsche owner. If you want something that really work on Porsche's buy a Durametric (I borrowed one and works great), forget about Foxwell Chinese garbage.

Buyer Beware - terrible company
Worst company experience I've ever had. I purchased a manufacturer-specific reader with extra software to read a second manufacturer. Nothing worked and the login to their terrible software never linked to the serial number on the unit to allow me download access. The scanner itself then read "SD disc corrupt" and was completely useless. Foxwell, told me I had it for too long to return (that was 3 days of ownership...) and after a number of BS statements via emails, said it would work fine if I hooked it up to my PC and simply gave them access to my computer through their "public" login instead of my secured login portal. Not sure about anyone else, but who thinks it's safe to give a Chinese company access to your computer and data?? It would have cost them 50 cents to send me an SD card with the proper software on it, or at least allow a return on a defective item that was 3 days old and never used. Completely garbage company and possibly a data collection scam.

I bought 2 scanners last year
I bought 2 scanners last year. i53BT and the NT710. Total pain in the a** to login. Their website doesn't seem to work. I keep getting host not recognized or something like that whenever I try to Wifi from home router or Hotspot from my phone. The email support is delayed and always at night. I go to reset password and it says a reset email is coming and it never does. BimmerWorld recommends these scanners and it makes me question them too. Now my i53BT doesn't even show up on their website that doesn't work right. These jackwagons have 600 dollars of mine and these devices are a joke. Their support is a joke. I finally got the NT710 to update. Maybe these issues that I'm experiencing are as much my fault as it is Foxwell. I don't know. I will continue to edit my review. I want to be fair to them and everyone else

I own a Foxwell NT 644 Elite scanner
I own a Foxwell NT 644 Elite scanner. If I could give this product less than a one star review, I would. I have used this scan tool a couple of times already and it seemed to work rather well. I went to use it recently and it failed to do anything other than tell me my software is corrupted. I tried to update the software, but their FoxwelltechUS website does not work. It gives me a bad URL message. It's like there is no support for this product at all in the United States. So much for lifetime software updates. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY FOXWELL SCAN TOOLS! What a waste of money!!

Terrible software download...hardware works OK.
I can't believe they have such a convoluted method of selling their own software for their own hardware. It is pathetic to say the least. You buy the software...and the default appears to be to ship it to your address! Their system is set up to allow you to download but it doesn't work. I am able to update my current software on my device, but good luck trying to buy additional.

They're terrible
They're terrible. No US support number, they only answer emails at night and they take days. I bought an 809TS and it stopped charging immediately. They wouldn't replace it or do anything, they said talk to the retailer. Unacceptable.

I also only gave them one star because I had to in order to file my review.
I have had the same type of poor customer service other reviewers experienced. I asked for help on how to delete a fault message and received an incorrect response. I responded asking for a clarification and didn't get a response. I waited a few days for a response and decided they must not have seen my message so I asked again and still didn't get a response. It appears they lack the necessary courtesy to at least let you know why they can't or won't answer your question. Additionally, I have had a lot of problem with the operation of their OBD scanner and now can't get updates.

Terrible service terrible support…
Terrible service terrible support terrible website Avoid these products at all costs they out of nowhere discontinue models without notice so you have a scanner it works on the cars trucks you bought it for but they will not let you update or even reinstall your software the FAQ includes links to websites they have shut down every area is separate and if you are on the wrong site nothing works. the registration for your scanner online will reset not recognize the scanner and will not let you add it. This means you have ZERO way to file a support ticket because it requires fields that you cannot enter information into along with un relevant information like car make model engine +++ essentially foxwell made it so theres no possible way to contact them. If you bought a higher end product or something like the NT630 elite you are SOL DO NOT PURCHASE Foxwell products why support a business that will not support you
