I ordered 20 Gladiolus byzantines bulbs in November 2024. I expected them to flower like the pictures shown. I was disappointed. A few managed a green shoot like a blade of grass. None flowered.I emailed them but was ignored. I'll ignore them in the future as well. Avoid.

Don't even think about ordering…
Don't even think about ordering anything from these cowboys! I ordered asparagus crowns and, after several months.....nothing has appeared. They were delivered in a brown paper bag, dried out and with the roots cut back to 6inches. Have sent several emails, no reply. Tried phoning, just an answerphone message saying "family illness" and giving an indecipherable alternative number to call. BEWARE. Any positive reviews are probably fake

Dreadful customer service.Ordered allium bulbs from eBay. This is probably one of the worst companies I have ever purchased from. The allium bulbs supplied did not flower even after being reassured they would eventually. Having contacted them on numerous occasions they did not reply or address my dissatisfaction. If you are looking for a reliable top quality organisation avoid this company.

I bought 48 lily bulbs from this company via OnBuy, (24) BAFFERARI Oriental Lily and (24) TRIUMPHATOR LONGIFLORUM ORIENTAL LILY (ZANLOPHATOR), only half of them flowered and they are not even the bulbs that I ordered, everyone of them are yellow. I have emailed the company with regards to the failure and colour of the bulbs but I have had no response. I am going to be in touch with my bank in seeing what they can do to refund my purchase as it is nothing like what I ordered. I SERIOUSLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Wish we had seen the postings here before buying astibes from 'bulb1' on eBay.Bare root plants arrived dry and shrivelled, but were quickly watered and potted up. But only two recovered.Contact ignored.Shame really, we are just starting a new half acre garden from scratch and looking to fill it with planting (no lawns).

Bare rooted plant arrived looking very dry and shrivelled.Soaked in water as instructed before planting. After 3 weeks, no signs of any growth, despite watering when required. Returned to seller.Refund received.Disappointing to receive a dead plant...Plant was not viable imo.

Awful experience
As many have stated, ordered through Ebay in faith that what I'd ordered would be what i got (not unreasonable, right?!).How wrong! Ordered a double white peony, a one I'd specifically searched for. What i got is a single pink. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever, completely ignored my emails. No comeback through PayPal or Ebay because it's outside their time limits. I would absolutely avoid them.

Like many on here and Google reviews I have been disappointed by the quality of what I received. I bought 100 Ranunculus bulbs from a their ebay storefront bulb. When I received them, they looked in a very poor state – dried, disintegrating, dull, but I decided to give them a go. I planted them in accordance with guidance form all around the web which is to soak and then plant in autumn and put in a cold frame. The bible of planting, Royal Horticulture Society(RHS) confirms it.Out of the 100 bulbs I planted, only two weak ones sprouted at all. I contacted Garthwaite nurseries and like many disappointed people on Trustpilot, got short shrift from them deflecting any responsibility saying “its still early from them” – not true. The two that sprouted did so 2 weeks ago and then they claimed “not in a cold frame, they need frost & cold”. Firstly everyone says in a cold frame, including RHS, plus a cold frame is cold – they have been outside all winter. I asked for a replacent or refund which they ignored.

Hi Just received my order for 20 lilybulbs from Garthwaite nurseries unfortunately all 20 bulbs where squeezed into one very small and very thin cardboard box.When I opened the box nearly all the lilies had been damaged.Tried phoning several times but off course no answer. This has happened before but thought I’d give them another chance should have known. I will definitely not be ordering anything else.Not a reliable seller!

Bought in good faith 1st may 2024 3 foxtail bulbs ( WHITE ) the listing stated on eBay £14.99 . flowers starting coming through and they are orange,I only have white flowers in my garden so very disappointed ☹️. Have contacted Garthwaite nurseries through eBay and absolutely no response!! Sadly eBays money guarantee policy is only for 30 days and obviously these where planted in may so no refund and as the company can't be bothered to contact me back and offer me replacement/ refund iv lost the money. DON'T use a company with poor to no customer service!!

I bought 100 daffodil bulbs last September on eBay.They trade under the name bulb1.Only a few have come up and those that have have come up blind.I have sent two emails via eBay and another direct. eBay have also written to him. No response.When I telephoned the landline I was transferred to a mobile and he cut me off. When I rang again he was having his car service and was extremely abrupt saying their were no messages outstanding and that he would ring me back in an hour. He never did. Now when you ring, after a long wait a recorded message says they are not taking phone calls due to illness in the family and gives an email address. We have listened five times now and cannot comprehend what it is even though it was spelt.The feed back recently on Trustpilot and eBay shows how bad they are.This is a company to be avoided.08/05/2024More emails but no response.eBay are still letting them trade.

Astilbes not great
I ordered two astilbes. One started to grow the other was way behind. I contacted the company to be told to be patient. I was patient. Eventually they both flowered for ONE DAY and then went brown. Despite watering when hot and feeding once a week. I have tried to contact the company three times with no response.
