Needs updated
I purchased the complete trucking portal. Although there is an immense amount of information and resources, the company failed me. The portal is out of date and not accurate with today’s market. The information seemed great, until I actually went to execute the plan. There’s a nationwide shortage of trucks and trailers. The amount of money required to acquire a truck has doubled. I have had my LLC, DOT, MC and even an office for 3 months. The problem is you can’t get financing or leases as a new business. There’s only one resource that can only lend half for a tractor. So if you don’t have 40-50k for a truck, you can’t get one. That doesn’t include the 30-40k for a trailer. When I talked to their truck supplier, they told me they had a stack of applications from Good Energy with people who don’t have all that funding. So it’s happening to other people. Plus there’s all the costs for the licenses and office based on Alix’s recommendations. To make matters worse, I got a new phone for my business and lost all my old documents. When I logged back into the portal, my account was inactive. I tried to call and email because my invoice said it expired in 10 years. When they got back to me they said it’s only a 3 month membership. So I’d have to pay the $1600 again in order to get the resources that aren’t useful in today’s market. For a company that’s always on social media praising people coming up through the program, I have only acquired more debt and am financially worse than I was before I took the program. I know part of this is the current industry, but if this is what you do, you should be knowledgeable and honest with your customers. It is far from easy to get this business going right now and there is either a lack of knowledge or transparency from Good Energy.
