Horrible customer service once you make it past the sale department and sign your contract. I am trying to sell my home and need information on how to transfer the warranty. I have been calling for weeks with no answer back. The only phone line that has anyone answering is their sales department, who always promise to send ur request thru to the proper people, but still no call. Not even asking for them to honor their warranty or contract, just wanna transfer it when my home sells. My system was installed in 2020 and to date I have not been able to reach anyone in customer service.

They don't even deserve 1 star - NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!I have had problems with green solar technology fot over 16 months now. 14 panels have been down and they do nothing but lie and promise to repair. Find a Solar Installer, not a Solar Broker
Green Solar Technologies is not a Solar Installer. I would call them more of a Solar Broker. They put a very large margin on the sale solar, and I do not feel I got the value in return.My system cost $75k, and my installer said he could have done it for $50k. Now this does mean I would have needed to be more involved through out the process to get it done.Here is a rough timeline of the processFebruary 2022 - Sales PitchMarch 2022 - Signed ContractMay 2022 - Permits SubmittedJune 2022 - Permits ApprovedOctober 2022 - Panels DeliveredNovember 2022 - Panels InstalledJanuary 2023 - Permission to OperateFebruary 2023 - Still awaiting information to setup SRECS in PAMain Reasons for the bad review:- Project Managers are very slow to respond (longest was 2.5 weeks)- My Project Manager quit and took them a month to get me a new one. Never told me until the new called me. Even after I called, texted, and emailed multiple departments and people.- My inverter is undersized for total panels. Peak performance is 15.12 kWh and they installed a 11.4 kWh. I did agree to the plans but I wasn't the wiser. Basically paid for 10 more panels than needed- All the departments are bad to get back to you, and they treat you like you do not have common sense- Had to get layout adjusted multiple times, because the installer stated to them that it wouldn't work. Which it would not work. They still sent in the wrong plans to the county for the permit.- Payments to others were delayed, or not paid, and created more delay- No sense of urgency

My system has been down not working at all for 19 months out of 23 and counting. Do not expect service after the sell folks. Now they won't answer my calls or return my calls. I'm filing papers on them next week. So sad they have no companies in pa. That will even service their systems, they refuse to work for them. So here's what you get. Terrible company. Save your sanity and $$$ don't buy a system from them . Period

This is absolute the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. They do not care about you after they get their money.I purchased solar panel in 2019. They worked until August of 2020. They didn't get fixed until March of 2021 after I threatened to sue them.They broke again on October 3 2021. They are STILL broken. I had to threaten to sue them to get anyone to look at them, but they never got them fixed. They keep saying there are different problems and don't know what they are talking about. They tried to blame the problem on the whole house generator that was installed 3 years prior to the panels being installed.They are enough to drive you insane especially when you are already in bad health. I even sent a letter to the owner and still nothing was done. I finally paid $150.00 filing fee to sue them myself and $175.00 to have them served. That was mid August and the panels are still broken. October 3 will be a year that they have not been working. I've spent over 10K out of pocket between the payments and power bills while they have been broken.Three days after they were served, the first person I dealt with called and told me to give them a few days and I never heard from them again. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.Save your sanity and your money and stay away from Green Solar Technologies.

Horrible customer services!!! I would give a ZERO star if there's an option. I can't emphasize how horrible the customer services are!Initial installation was ok. Shortly after that, we had some baseball size hails on May 17th 2021. Sure all the panels along with my roof were damaged. We get our quotes for both roof replacement and the solar panels as soon as it should be like. The brand new roof was replaced in 2~3 weeks, then we ordered total 25 of new panels for replacing. Our nightmare starts after the panels arrival. They couldn't be able to install the panels until July 25th, 2021. And they left the broken ones those were suppose to get disposed on my side yard for another THREE MONTHS. The area where they left the panels on were killed with a bold spot. In matter of time afterwards, we discovered that our new roof was leaking and the ceiling drywall was wet in our laundry room and master bathroom. After some investigation, we found 2 spots of mis-drilled holes that were caused leaking. We understand mistakes happed. We also saw the evidence that they were trying to caulking it, but it leaked though. Sealant went though. We contacted Greensolar and state our issues. We asked them to fix the holes that on the brand new roof. Long story short, the first phone call was made in forth quarter of 2021. Now we are in September of 2022, and the issues with the leaks are still here DID NOT get solved yet!My direct contact customer agent Diana was nice till this became a long last issues. Same as the customer service manager. I don't remember her name. They started NOT answering phone calls, reply messages or NO call back after left multiple voicemails. Last contact I made was on Monday August 29th, 2022 to the customer service manager with leaving a voicemail, customer agent Diana and the customer service department. Today is Sep. 2nd, 2022, and for sure I didn't hear anything back from them, which I am NOT SURPRISED at all. Because this is what they do the best! Leave customer along with a leaking roof. Or maybe they think the issues will be fixed somehow by itself!I am VERY VERY disappointed at this company. I will NOT recommended this company to any of my family or friends to let them experience the same nightmare that I am having right now!P.S. what is the best now is I can't post my 1 star review on their website for some reason. SMH

It is difficult to correspond .I received your helpful reply.However I think it might be better to hold on to the replacement for a bit longer in case it is needed and the vacuum cleaner fails . I cannot be sure that my husband either knew what happened or actually did anything useful to the electrics when he tried to remove the battery. But it now WORKS !Marna.

Failed to file $7000 rebate as promised
Failed to file $7000 rebate as promisedDishonest, not trustworthy, lost us $7000 rebate. The sales rep was always quick with communication, then once the contract was signed, customer service has been beyond frustrating. Our installation was delayed, production reporting to our energy company was incorrect, production was lower than quoted (1+ year in) and trying to resolve our biggest issue has been a true nightmare. When checking on a rebate check from our energy company (paid every year for 10 years), we learned that Green Solar only filed for net metering, not the Solar Rewards Rebate as promised. This lost rebate has cost us a quoted $6,884 (and way too much time trying to resolve it.)I have proven to Green Solar their 100% responsibility in failing to file this rebate, but I have yet to be compensated. I will update if they do, but I do not plan on accepting such a huge financial loss due to their negligence in fulfilling the contract. I will keep seeking a fair solution while sharing with others to be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS!!

Good Sales... Nothing After
After a lot of research determining the solar system to install in our home, we settled for a 30kW system with 80 LGNeon2-365, with Enphase microinverters, and 3 Empower 10 batteries for backup.Solar Edge was not the cheapest but competitive among the few that said that could provide such a system. After some negotiation over the contract terms, we signed the agreement on 10.05.2021 with the expectation to have the whole project completed between 120 and 180 days (according to the contract) even though we were assured that almost always they have it finalized within 120 days.After the agreement was signed we were informed that they were sending their local installer (we later learned it was a subcontract). Non satisfied with subcontracting the installation, GreenSolar handed the development of the design and vendor coordination/approval (required for full warranty) to the same contractor. Any time we reached out to the "project manager" for status updates, timelines, we received a response that he needed to check with the installer and once even gave us the installer number to handle directly with their subcontractor.After over 100 days without even a plan having been completed for submission to the township or our utility company, as required in the contract, we notified the company of their contractual breach regarding their "time is of the essence" clause.To our dismay, instead of offering an apology or a plan for resolution, we received an unprofessional response completely avoiding responsibility. Later that day the company Legal Counsel offered to terminate the agreement and provide a full refund. Long story short, we accepted the offer and are yet to receive our downpayment refunded. Would not work or recommend the company to anyone!!!

I always thought that I would never face issues with energy, however couple of weeks ago I started to notice that my lightbulb started to work unproper. I checked the voltage and everything was okay. It turned out that something went wrong with my eenergy supplier and I decided to change it. There plenty of energy suppliers in the world but I thought that it would be great to try green energy. So, I applied to this company and they did everything fast and correct. Nowadays I have an energy which is being received from solar system. It's so cool when you support green movements.

I got my panels almost 3 years ago and they were working ok,, now they told me something is wrong with one of the inverters, so they supposed to change it, they noticed this happening 5 months ago, until now no body had show to do anything, I had been calling them and when answering they blame other department for it and the problem still on my system. They give you a warranty they will work on it and after they don't care. I have a friend who has a different company and that company had been more reliable for them. I am very disappointed with green solar.

Nowadays there is a big demand in the society on green systems or solar systems. Everything is connected with the concern of particular amount of people about air pollution because of old energy systems, which produce lots of hazardous substances. In my opinion, this company, which provides customer with effectve solar systems is deserved to be noticed by everybody who wants to get rid of harmful systems. Staff here is very responsive and easilycan answer all your questions regarding installations and further usage. I'm sure that if you apply to this company you will remain really happy, because you'll be glad to see such a nice work.
