Celebrating the YOU in Your Career
HTYC is different because their focus is wholly on you and what you actually want in your career. I am a middle-aged woman who has had a few careers but nothing that fully resonated with who I am. I knew I wanted more but didn't know what to do besides applying for myriad jobs I found posted online that sounded "interesting".HTYC, and especially my coach Amy, gave me the tools and time to figure out who I am, what I love doing, where I thrive (and don't thrive!). Everything was focused on me as a person, not on my identity as a "future employee" somewhere. For me, that personal attention and recognition was worth any price (though HTYC is actually very affordable for all they offer). As with any coaching service, you will get from it what you put into it. HTYC just makes it enjoyable and rewarding to engage with them to get to where you want to go. And Amy's ability to understand me, grow with me, help me stay focused while still allowing the freedom to always be myself, was worth everything.I really can't say enough good things about HTYC and have been recommending them anytime I hear someone talk about "doing something different". I felt stuck until I found HTYC
I felt really stuck in my career until I found HTYC. I had tried several other coaching programs and was left feeling dissatisfied. Finding HTYC brought me some hope. I had a great time working with Dianna and she helped me a lot both with my career and personally. It is a pretty significant investment but I would say it was well worth it!

Ripplets in motion on my true path
I came to HTYC knowing something was missing in my career but not sure what or how to fix it. With my coach’s guidance and her thoughtful questions and tools, I discovered a direction that truly aligns with my strengths and values. I also realized that I wanted to (and could) build something of my own. HTYC helped me redefine success on my terms and let work fit into my life, not the other way around. In the daunting world of career change, after spending so much time with no results, it was helpful to have someone coming alongside. I think I would've given up if I didn't have my coach supporting, listening, validating and helping me hold on to what was possible. I didn't think I needed to have an Ideal Career Profile document done, but that ended up being the best tangible experience I took with me. If you're wondering if it's worth the investment - it is.

I got what I needed and more
I've never really gone on a guided or semi-guided journey of self discovery before but my time with HTYC and Steve Martinez was just that, and I don't mean to be cute about it. I started out with pretty basic goals, find a way out of my current situation, get a job that was a better fit and maybe land a bridge role to facilitate both. After 4 months of working with Steve, I'm in a totally different place. I'm thinking bigger. I don't even apply to jobs anymore because I am after something more. Being able to bounce ideas off him, get his take, and hash things out really helped me progress. I talk a lot, and I jump around a lot from day to day but Steve kept me focused. He's a Viking. I think the big thing about the program is that it makes you think, and then makes you take action. Those worksheets aren't going to fill themselves out. Not sure how it will all turn out, but Steve was a steady hand I got what I needed out of HTYC and more.

A great resource with very professional and insightful people
My experience is likely different from most -- a bit after signing up for the course, I wound up going through a career change organically when I began to work with an old friend of mine. I therefore didn't need the content in the course as much as I otherwise would have. Still, I definitely benefitted from the perspectives we discussed and the exercises through the course, and I'm positive the benefits would have been even more substantial if a career change hadn't happened to land in my lap.They do a great job of following up with you and answering any questions you may have. The exercises will take some time on your part, time I didn't really have due to my unexpected employment, but they're very flexible and can accommodate your schedule. My coach (Nicole Crozier) was very friendly, genuinely seemed invested in my success and happiness, and our sessions were a pleasure.I think it's absolutely worth it if you have the time and commitment to truly engage in it.

We tend to get worried if an investment like this will actually make a change. I was worried to. IT IS A GREAT INVESTMENT It is not common to get this type of support and what they have to offer is very well-rounded. Each one of my coaches at Happen to Your Career, showed how much they care to understand me, my needs and what I needed to move forward. Even when my request is "I dont know what happened, I lost my track", my coach Heather Y. was helpful, confident, and ready to make me feel comfortable again and push to get what I wanted. I came here feeling strong-ish about my skills and got out understanding how much more information about myself I needed ! ..and a whole new perspective about my strengths. I am excited to apply all of this in my life. I recommend this to anyone thinking about making a change in your career, either for a 180 or just growth !

Truly Helpful if you bring Honesty
HTYC has been a fantastic support to me on my career journey!! My coach Katja was amazing! She helped me all along the way and provided insight to really help move me in the right direction.The early stages of self reflection are hugely important and beneficial for the career search. I learned a lot about myself and received a 3rd-party perspective of types of careers and positions that would fit.Ultimately I learned that an organization's value system would be one of the more important elements for me. I need to do something for the right reason and not to just "find a job." I trusted this after listening to the…
I trusted this after listening to the podcast for years. After consulting with others in the “program”, I was not the only one getting free extra sessions to progress things. Unless you are already very well established, please do not waste your money. My last appointment I was told to ask ChatGPT to do certain things and it was the last straw. Overall, I feel like it’s just a money maker and most of the reviews found on the internet are either fake or the only ones of THOUSANDS who got jobs. It’s embarrassing when it does not turn out well for you, so I believe it’s why most people do not leave reviews.
