I can't begin to describe how awesome our trip to Athens-Santorini -Mykonos was. Petros was fabulous. The hotels were off the charts perfect. All connections to each destination was spot on without a hitch. Petros is not only a pleasure to work with but he truly cares about giving you the best vacation experience in Greece and he far exceeds any expectation. I will recommend him to anyone going to Greece. In addition all of our excursions were first class. We could not have had a better vacation and it is due to the planning from Petros. Truly our favorite vacation ever!!!!

Petros of Hellenic Holidays set everything up perfectly, and this vacation was the best we have ever had. Each hotel was top of the line, and the activities were planned on alternate days to give us days to relax. The Adronis Concept in Santorini, with each room having a private infinity pool out back and a view overlooking cliffs and water, was indescribably beautiful. Petros knows Greece very well, and can answer all your questions about the atmosphere and activities on each island. Definitely will go back to Greece but I would not book this through any other agent.

Petros at Hellenic Holidays set up our vacation of a lifetime and that it was. Every stop was beyond our expectation. Two nights in Athens at the five start Hotel Grande Bretagne was superb....we cannot say enough about the rooftop restaurant & bar with views of the Parthenon...a night cap at the rooftop bar was a must each night. The private guided tour of Athens was excellent and we learned more than we could have imagined.We the took a flight to Mykonos and stayed 3 nights at the Myconian Ambassador overlooking the Agean Sea with its brilliant blue colors.If you are up for some superb local seafood and a little hike do not miss Nikolas on the beach....the seafood is fresh daily and the whole family works at the restaurant. We took a driving tour to see the monestary and lighthouse which both had gorgeous views.Then a high speed ferry to Santorini which its magestic views. 4 nights at The brand new Adronis Concept with your own infinity pool looking out over the bay carved into the cliff side above the magnificent Caldera was breathtaking. George and his staff took care of us like family and we would highly recommend a stay with them. The sailing with Captain Ted's crew was a memory of a lifetime.....Petros we cannot thank you enough for all the connections and the people were just so friendly everywhere we went......thank you, thank you , thank you

Petros at Hellenic Holidays went above and beyond our expectations for a vacation to Greece! He arranged everything perfectly to meet our wishes for a birthday trip for my friends and me. We stayed at the excellent Electra Palace for two nights in Athens with views of the Acropolis. We were near a wonderful shopping district and had the most knowledgeable private guide to the Parthenon! Next we flew to peaceful Naxos and stayed at the incomparable Naxian Collection where we were treated like royalty by Maria, Yannis and their fantastic staff! Finally we took the high speed ferry to Santorini with it's breathtaking views. We stayed at the amazing Astra Suites with a caldera view, perfect sunsets and George and his 5 star staff meeting our every need. The tour of the island with Blue Shades of Greece, wine tasting at Domain Sigalas winery and catamaran sailing trip with Captain Ted's were so perfect! I must say the food at these three establishments was world class and beyond excellent. Petros arranged ALL of this for us to create the trip of a lifetime! I cannot recommend him and Hellenic Holidays highly enough!

GREAT TRAVEL AGENT AND FANTASTIC TRIP
I researched places in Greece and decided on Athens, Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini for our family's two week trip in May/June, 2017. There were so many hotels and options we did not know what to do so I found tour options through Hellenic Holidays and called their NY office. I was referred to Petros who has been to Greece 60 times! His expertise on where to stay, what to do or not do, what restaurants had the best food and connections for transfers, high speed ferries and transportation was very valuable and took away most of my stress...I am very type A person and want to detail every minute. Petros advised me to take each day at a time and enjoy/relax... by the end of the two weeks I actually was able to sit back and enjoy relaxing by our fantastic infinity pool at Astra Suites in Santorini. Every hotel chosen was top rate and fantastic service. We were able to communicate with Petros during the vacation as well to get more advice on what to do which was great. I only wish he could book us with other vacations to Europe besides Greece and Turkey which are his specialty. My husband said the trip was the best planned trip we have ever been to in the thirty years we have been together. My 24 year old and 25 year old children enjoyed the vacation as well and were able to relax as well as enjoy the beautiful places we went to. Thanks Petros for an amazing vacation. It is hard to believe it is over. Wish we could have stayed there forever. The islands and Athens were so beautiful and the people were so friendly...felt like home. We definitely want to come back to Greece!

Our trip exceeded our expectations.We are home, but if I had a chance to do it all again I would get on a plane this morning.The hotels were wonderful and all transfers/connections/tours/sailing were excellent. Hellenic Holidays is the only way to travel to Greece. The company has connections at all the hotels and we received royal treatment at the best resorts I have ever stayed in my entire life. Myself and my adult family traveled to Athens, Santorini, and Mykanos. Petros customized everything to the amount of time we were spending in Greece and really is an expert of the country. He took the stress out of planning and choosing hotels in a country I have never been to by knowing where to stay and travel. He even put together a day to day itinerary of where to eat and what to do each day (top of the line tours were included in the package). If you are going to Greece, you should go through Hellenic Holidays 100%.

Top-Notch Service & Amazing Trip to Greece
My husband and I have dreamed of going to Greece but the thought of figuring out which island(s) to visit, getting to and from, hotels and activities seemed overwhelming. I'm thrilled we used Hellenic Holidays to help plan our entire two-week trip. I was referred to Petros Zissimos by a colleague and from the first time I called him to discuss our travel objectives -- it was his goal to understand what we wanted to do, what type of trip we were looking for as well as understanding our budget. He was responsive to all our questions and amendable to working through various iterations of an itinerary to meet our needs and requests, but also providing us guidance along the way. He came up with a fantastic itinerary that sent us to Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini and Athens. He provided great advice on which islands to visit, how long, where to stay as well as some terrific activities included in the package -- a semi-private sunset cruise and walking tour of Athens -- and arranged all ground, ferry and airport transfers. It was all top notch and well orchestrated. Prior to our departure, Petros coordinated a conference call to walk us thorough our entire itinerary, discussed restaurant recommendations, other activities, what to expect etc. Upon our departure from the US, we had an airline mechanical issue on the night of our departure, which impacted our other connecting flights. One call to Petros to let him know of our delay, and he was on it and got up at 2 am to call his airline contact in Greece to ensure our transfer flight was modified as we flew across the Atlantic. It truly set our minds at ease to know we were in good hands. Hellenic Holidays recommended some beautiful resorts in each of our locations which provided room upgrades and breakfast each morning. He also gave a great list of terrific restaurants in each area. All our ground transfers were noted in our itinerary and everyone was prompt. It was a truly stress free vacation. We met a few other Hellenic Holiday clients in Santorini on our semi-private sunset sail, which was one of the highlights of our trip that Petros arranged. My husband states, "this was one of the best vacations I've ever had" and I couldn't agree more. I've already told a number of colleagues and friends that they must travel to Greece and use Hellenic Holidays.

Amazing Trip to Greece with Hellenic Holidays
Mr. Zissimos and Hellenic Holidays exceeded my expectations arranging our recent trip to Greece. And, while I am a tough sell, it is more difficult to exceed my husband's expectations. Petros was on target to do that from the beginning of our travel to the end of tour of Greece.My husband and I enjoy traveling as our hobby so I was somewhat surprised by his resistance to go to Greece. My husband, who is a business man, had concerns about the economy, the political stability and not having enough flexibility to avoid the main tourist attractions. The time I spent addressing his concerns became moot as we are now both raving fans of Mr. Zissimos and his commitment in providing a five star experience in the Greek isles. In looking back on what made our trip a grand success, Petros' expert knowledge in customizing experiences for his clients is a direct result from the fifty eight times he himself has gone to Greece. We were impressed with how important it was to him that we enjoyed the experience while he took care of all of the details before, during and after the trip. Petros knows that a positive trip comes from effective upfront planning. He guided me at a pace at which I was comfortable as he presented the myriad of options available. I am a financial advisor and I know how important it is to build a trusting relationship with my clients. It became clear in our early communications that Petros subscribed to the same approach. He was interested in what we wanted and was confident that he could provide it. Lesser travel agents push you into the limited options that they can provide. When he guided me to the final outline of what we wanted, the process went on autopilot for me. I relaxed and appreciated that.Weeks before we left, every detail was in place including where we would eat each day. I have several dietary restrictions that he respected and when we were in Greece, it was clear that Petros had made sure the restaurants met them. Petros has developed strong relationships with hotels, restaurants and tourist providers. We could see that they too wanted to provide the best service possible in order to meet Petros' expectations. That is a winning combination.It was quite amazing that Mr. Zissimos also stayed highly engaged throughout the entire process. We were pleasantly taken aback when we received an email from Petros within thirty minutes of checking into our magnificent hotel on Santorini. He stated that he understood there were challenges with our accommodations. My husband and I enjoyed a good chuckle after we explained to him that the resort was indeed impressive but we had been teasing the receptionist about not leaving the property once we climbed the steps to get to our suite. This hotel was among the experiences that we would never have found on our own. We are very comfortable recommending Petros Zissimos as a top travel specialist for Greece. He served that role for my husband and me and we are certain that he does that for all of his clients.

An intoxicating one of a kind adventure
Even after speaking to tons of travel agents at the New York Times Travel Show, my boyfriend and I knew we wanted to book our next vacation through Petros. We've traveled all throughout Europe, but this trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini has been our favorite thus far. The trip Petros planned for us was intoxicating, beautiful, cultural, and flawless.Petros's communication skills and attention to detail are unbeatable. He always responded to our emails in a timely manner and answered all questions we had with honesty. We were not expecting to receive such a detailed, planned out itinerary. Not only did Petros book domestic transportation and hotels for us, he listed out restaurant recommendations, places we might want to see, and activities he thought would interest us. He set up an incredible sailing excursion around Santorini and a culturally enhancing walking tour around Athens. As foodie's we were a bit hesitant to stick to the restaurants that Petros recommended, but every single one was top notch and ridiculously delicious. The food in Greece is amazing! The hotels we stayed in were beautiful and the staff were more than accommodating. Petros was able to get us hotel upgrades wherever possible, which included for example a free bottle of wine or a jacuzzi on our private rooftop.Our trip to Greece was one of a kind, and most importantly, it was affordable! We never felt like Petros was trying to gyp us and he was more than helpful in planning a trip that was within our budget. When we asked Petros to remove one day from the itinerary he originally planned so that we could stick to our budget, he did not hesitate to do so.We couldn't be more thankful and appreciative of the work Petros put into planning our trip. Once we were in Greece everything ran incredibly smoothly. We never had to wait on transportation, Petros checked us into our domestic flights and sent us our boarding passes exactly when he said he would, and additional tickets were waiting for us at the hotel concierge just as expected. A perfect honeymoon: romantic, relaxing, and exciting
I could not have imagined a more perfect honeymoon, and Petros and his staff at Hellenic Holidays deserve all of the credit! We spent 12 days traveling to Athens, Crete, and Santorini. Petros took our interests into consideration and tailored our trip to our preferences. It was easy to schedule an appointment with him, and the documentation he provided us was very thorough and helpful. The final itinerary he gave us provided a great blend of structure but flexibility. We had one scheduled commitment in each location (a tour of the Acropolis in Athens, a cooking class in Crete, and a sailing excursion on Santorini) and the rest of the time was left to us. We scheduled a wine tour in Santorini through the company suggested by Petros, and of course it was fun and interesting. We also appreciated the recommendations for restaurants so that we knew we were dining at some of the tastiest (and romantic) places. Petros really took care of us while we were abroad, too. We texted him a couple of times and he was really responsive. We hadn't worked with a travel agent before planning this honeymoon, and I was blown away by how easy and seamless it was. We didn't have any hiccups while traveling, and it meant a lot to us that someone else was managing the plans for the honeymoon while we were concentrating on plans for the wedding. I highly recommend Hellenic Holidays. You won't be disappointed.

Breathtaking Trip to Greece & Turkey
My boyfriend and I wanted to take our first trip to Greece together and came across Hellenic Holidays online. This travel agent had so many amazing reviews we decided to give it a try. Upon calling and meeting with Petros we absolutely knew we were in good hands. He planned our whole trip to Mykonos and Santorini and he went above and beyond for us. He puts together the most exciting and amazing blurprints and on them you can read about the history of your destinations and look up all the hotels and restaurants he recommends. He put us in the most breathtaking hotels, upgraded us along the way and even while we were on the trip he was checking us in for our flights and was available to reach him at any time for any questions. His recommendations for dinner spots were just mouth watering and so romantic. Petros really puts so much work into making our trip so amazing.
We absolutely loved Greece we went back to him the following year and he planned our trip to Turkey. He recommended Istanbul, Cappadocia and Bodrum. Again the detail that he puts into our trip is just so amazing. He upgraded us to a private tour in Istanbul which I absolutely loved and even had an assistant to call for anything further that we needed. He suggested us to go to Cappadocia to ride the hot air balloons and let me tell you it's the most breathtaking adventure we have ever done.
Greece and Turkey were the most beautiful trips of our life's. We stayed at the most incredible hotels in the world and dinned at the most fabulous places. Petros was just a pleasure to work with and he is incredible at putting together a magical trip that is unforgettable! We will be going back to him this year and defiantely for our honeymoon!

Petros and the staff at Hellenic Holidays are amazing! From the first exploratory call, Petros was synced in on the trip of our dreams. The process was painless, and the execution breathtaking. Every stop on the trip was better than the next. It was the best trip my wife and I had ever been on, as one hopes their honeymoon would be.
Petros is extremely committed to providing the best in accommodations and recommendations. He was actually in Greece during our honeymoon to make sure all of his recommendations and locations were worthy of being recommended for the next year.
