Bought an compact haven unit and got cheated!…
Bought an compact haven unit originally sold and delivered and set up anywhere in the United States for just under 20k. Company presented itself as being out of Colorado but when the unit was not delivered within contractual agreement I kept getting excuses and ridiculous explanations or just ignored. Finally got unit 3 months after contractually agreed time, only then did I get tarrifs as a reason verbally? Homedrop.net broke many clauses of their own contract charged me for crane and unqualified people to set it up and did not even finish the unit because it came with no flooring? Now have an uninhabitable compact haven that's cost 35k till now company went out of business and disappeared and has left me with a complete useless mess that will now cost me another 35k to 40k to finish even if it can be! Homedrop.net are liars and cheats! Buyer beware! According to Hud regulations all manufactured housing units over 320 software must have a stamp, tag 3rd party packet verifying that these standards have been met. The damaged still yet unfinished unit contracted for 60 to 75 days for completion is still unfinished and has no such verification on any building codes? Counsel has referred me to the DOJ and HUD inspectors.
