Great customer care on the whole apart from when it came to moving address and potentially adding buildings insurance and other things. Having been a customer for almost 7 years I got dropped when I moved property without a reason.

Terrible experience regarding refusing…

Terrible experience regarding refusing to refund a cancelled home insurance policy. Their mistake with wrong quote information on a credit agreement and cooling off period for insurance doesn't apply. Never again!

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY

Send a parcel to Germany in February 24.It cost me £10.33. It got stuck at customs and I requested for it to be send back, for which I had to pay another £10.33! They then told me that they had lost my parcel! I was eligible for a refund but had to send proof of everything, even what I had send it in.The item was worth £45+ the send cost £20.66= £65.66They offered me a refund of £46.33When i declined there offer they just told me they weren’t going any higher!Still waiting on the refund and we are now in May 24!

USELESS MANAGERS

Post Office Home insurance refund totally useless.Post Office has taken two full payments instead of one. The running around, telephoning, emails etc. No one responds, manager does not reply to emails what a total mess and you want the people of Great Britain to trust you - not a chance.

CRIMINALS

Over 700 subpostmasters prosecuted and lives ruined due to Fujitsu's faulty IT system. They knew about the issues for almost two decades but continued to defend the system and lie to ruin lives. Two subpostmaster commited suicide. This company has blood on its hands and those involved in the cover up should face criminal charges. The country is looking at you in particular, Paula Vennells. I hope you face criminal charges. Time for justice.

Absolute con artists !

Do not get any kind of insurance with the post office. Someone bumped into the back of my car. They admitted blame & their insurance conpany paid out. Yet the post office insurance I had still knocked my No claims bonus down to two years from 15. They are absolute con artists.

Roof leak

Roof leak. Refused payment because apparently not enough rain had fallen, despite torrential downpours, and the local papers reporting flooding in town. Repaired at own expense. Going to dispute.

Absolute incompetence

We informed the insurance company of a water escape. Home emergency responded within 30 minutes. However that we the only good point. Following this they stopped the leak and then left. The electrics where decommissioned and the bath. This has left my father with sever mobility issues being unable to bathe for over 3 months due to the pure incompetency of both the home emergency and house insurance being unable to communicate. After 3 months of waiting we have now been provided a contractor to remove the bath and reinstate the plumbing. This again will now lead to additional delays as the emergency team will need to resolve the plumbing issue. Which I have been told will be upto 48 hours from making the access. I will be pursuing a formal complaint and escalation for the pure lack of duty of care. I would never by any product from these cowboys again. I feel this review should be a warning to anyone thinking they are receiving a quality insurance product.

Post Office Insurance

If there was a no star I would give that. I took out a contents policy with the Post Office a year ago. I received an email recently advising me they would not be offering a renewal for the coming year. No reason given, their customer services couldn't help. I emailed requesting a reason as my circumstances had not changed except I am a year older. Still not response. I would say, do not use the Post Office for anything other than mailing letters.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. I so wish I had read these reviews prior to taking out. I am now going to the Insurance Ombudsman to resolve my complaint and money owed. They should not be allowed to trade under the insurance legislations.

I had gone to post office to send out a phone which at that time I dint know was a scam. I explained to the staff, that I ordered a Samsung from Carphonewarehouse, instead I received an iphone, and the Carphonewarehouse staff said their dispatch made a mistake and that I should return it via post office to a particular address. The Postoffice staff at 4 King William St, Coventry CV1 5JD looked it up and understood that it was a residential address, and was very gentle in breaking the news to me. Her advise NOT TO SEND THE PHONE THERE alerted me to do more inquiries. The threatening messages sent by staff of Carphonewarehouse on whatsapp lead to calls to Action Fraud, police and cancelling card with the bank.

Post Office Home Insurance

We took out the Gold package home insurance with the Post Office for my elderly mum. Last week the boiler stopped giving out hot water. Called them on Tuesday and reported this. An 'Engineer' arrived on Wednesday and removed the part that he thought from the boiler that needed replacing and advised us that he needed a part and would be back in the afternoon. He did not turn up until Friday and this time he took off more parts and switched the water completly off in the whole house. He has not been seen since. I recieved a call from the Post Office who advised me that it will take 7 to 10 days for the part to be delivered. I was NOT advised however that there was no water in the house. The toilet does NOT flush and my mum is NOT able to use the shower as there is no water. I called the post office on Friday, Saturday and today and was advised that someone would ring me back. As yet, no one has called me back. My mum is 77 years old and vulnerable. I would like to update this. On Monday I called them and was advised that an Engineer would come on Tuesday between 8am and 2pm. Today is Wednesday and no one turned up yesterday. My mum is 77 years old and has been without water for over a week. She is unable to flush the toilet or use the shower.
