All apples came badly bruised
All apples came badly bruised. The company is saying that they can bruise during shipping, but the box was just fine. My first order came perfect, but this one... The bruises are a few days old, turning dark brown already. I will have to to throw away at least half of them. I wish I could submit photos of their product! Very disappointed!

What a great family business
What a great family business! Been using them for years and they never fail me. This year I made a mistake on my order and they were kind enough to assist me in updating and getting the correct information in place. Very kind personnel and I promise you they will take good care of you every year!— feeling happy.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...
This company completely misrepresents their products, does not respond to messages and their customer support number does not pick-up or even allow for leaving a message (literally non-functional). I have purchased Asian Pears for many years from many sources, am familiar with most of the varieties, and my family has grown fruit trees as well, so I have a reasonable expectation for what I am purchasing. Based upon the Honeycrisp.com web site's description of their Olympic Giant Asian Pears as VERY LARGE, I purchased two cases (50 total) and received fruit that no one could possible describe as very large. They were small pears (most were <2.5 inches across, with the largest barely a medium size, at 2.75 inches in diameter) for $117.21. When we weighed the total fruit, it came to approx. $6.90 per lb. with so little yield when you consider the peel and core are not edible. In comparison, our local Wegmans had three-packs of truly GIANT Asian Pears (Flavor Grown brand; each was almost 4 inches in diameter and weighed close to or exceeding 1 lb. - over 3.25 lbs for the three pack) for $7.99 (approx. $2.66 per lb) that were incredibly fresh, crisp and juicy (and with no shipping cost). The same brand in two packs was also available at our local Target. The total lack of responsiveness of Honeycrisp.com (I sent emails to their customer service, tried calling repeatedly, with no response whatsoever), misrepresentation of their product, and extreme overpricing leads me to advise never purchasing from this company.

A BUSHEL of HONEYCRISP
A BUSHEL of HONEYCRISP? Yes, please. Were a few of them bruised along the way? Sure. Were all of them an amazing, juicy, delicious, decadent crunch… absolutely. One of my “best finds” of 2025!

Almost great but…
A big disappointment. The website is nice the shipping was prompt and packaging excellent. The problem was the freshness. Every Ruby Frost apple Ive ever eaten has been hard crisp and breaking with each bite. Equal to or better than a top quality honey crisp. Those that I received were soft and mushy. A expensive mistake on my part. Perhaps apples from longterm storage? Update (11/27/25). Honeycrisp.com reached out to me about my order and offered a partial refund (appreciated) and a possible explanation for the softness of the apples. The apples could have been damaged by freezing weather during shipping, which, It is winter and NY is a long ways from NM. I’m raising my rating to 3 stars and giving them the benefit of the doubt since other aspects of the transaction was excellent. Freezing weather could have caused the softness which of course the weather is out of their control.

Macintosh! Taste of home!
Macintosh! Nothing beats the smell of a fresh box of Macintosh apples nor the distinctive TASTE! Growing up in New England they are my go-to apple always and honeycrisp.com allows me access to them even while away from home. The Customer Service team is top notch - prompt and supportive. 100% recommend!!

Former New Yorker who LOVES good apples!
I am formerly from their part of NY, and although Georgia grows a LOT of apples, none of them taste as good to me as New York's finest! I was SO happy when we found Honeycrisp! We order several boxes annually, timed to arrive after the worst of the North Georgia heat has abated. They always come perfectly packaged, clean and lovely. The only downside is the cost of shipping, but you know? You pay for what you value, and you GET what you pay for!

Received a half a bushel of Jonagold…
Received a half a bushel of Jonagold apples from honeycrisp.com, my father ordered them for me and had them sent because my local Orchard was out when I went to pick my own. There were 40 apples in the box and only three did not have big bruises with rotten spots or multiple bruise spots all around the apples. The texture was very mealy and the flavor was not that of Jonagold. I emailed the company after my father called them and I sent them pictures and their only offer was a coupon code for my next order and they told me that the apples were completely acceptable with the amount of money that was charged for shipping almost the same amount as the apples themselves. I am unimpressed with their packing. Definitely need to do a better job with that and for almost every single apple to be damaged and definitely not just picked as they claimed apples were super over ripe to be as mealy as they were. Will never order again and my father wasted $90!

Lovely apples, packaged beautifully
I just received a half bushel of my favorite apple, Cortland, from Honeycrisp and am totally wowed. The apples were nicely packed, no bruising that I could find, all with lovely red/green skins and nicely firm. I see that they carry a lot of old apple names, like Northern Spy, which means I will be ordering more. Cortlands are the best all around early apple, great for pies, sauce and just eating out of hand.

Couldn't ask for nicer folks to deal…
Couldn't ask for nicer folks to deal with. I had apples sent to no. fl. & the weather was still hot before Thanksgiving. My Son said the apples were beautiful, crisp, and packed extremely well and that he could smell them before opening them. I will keep doing business with these folks. Cathy B. in Maine

Top Secret apples
Top Secret apples, 3 boxes, arrived in perfect condition, superbly packed. Amazing that there was not a single blemish these apples. Delicious and distinctly special for the gifts we gave. Arrived promptly. Wonderful, personal customer service. I love supporting such a family-owned business and farmers. Top notch in every way. I don't normally write reviews, but they deserve it!
Do not want name displayed.
Honeycrisp great healthy gift

Don’t buy from this business
Don’t buy from this business! False advertising!! After I read the description of Honeycrisp apples on Honey Crisp Farms website I was excited to order from an orchard. Big mistake. The apples I received (12 for $43) were 3 times greener than what I could buy at the grocery store for $15 and shockingly the apples were slightly larger than a tennis ball. Unfortunately before the Honey Crisps were delivered I believed their hype and ordered two other varieties which have already been shipped. Judging from the disclaimer on their website (which I discovered too late at the bottom of one of their pages) about not guaranteeing ripeness, it is my belief that this business knows they send customers unripened (green) apples. I thought I could trust a good ‘ole family owned business. Boy, was I wrong. I will be posting this review on several other review sites and maybe I can help someone save their money and avoid disappointment. When I receive the order that should be delivered soon I will write another review. Who knows…I could get lucky and be able to write a positive review.

Terrible apples
I received my Northern spy apples and they were soooo small(4 oz each ) After peeling and coring there is no apple left! I tried biting into one and it was hard and green! Totally inedible! This company does not stand behind their products. I paid $64 for these inedible apples and they tell me tuff luck. I will be reporting to better business bureau and dispute charge with my credit card.

About 25% of the box had bruises…
About 25% of the box had bruises throughout the apple. Bruises were not evident on the outside, but we ended up having to cut a lot of bruises out.

Perfect apples lovingly delivered!
I moved away from the East Coast and couldn't find my beloved Macintosh apples anywhere.I ordered a dozen and a half. They arrived beautifully packed in cushions and they were large and absolutely perfect. The company was so conscientious that they avoided shipping on a weekend so that the apples wouldn't have to sit in transit too long.I would definitely order from them again.
