Had a tricky situation for my spouse visa where my husband under a previous visa was an overstayer. Previous law firm were terrible and my application was rejected but when I spoke to the lawyers at Reiss Edwards they came up with a plan immediately and helped me understand the process well. No to refund
Requested a service decided to no longer go in that direction. Took 10 weeks to get a response saying I am not entitled to a discretionary refund due to consumer laws. For 10 weeks I called and emailed on multiple occasions. After suggesting to report to the SRA I got a response in less than an hour saying no refund is entitled based on consumer laws.

Despite my efforts, they deceived me and exhibited rude behavior. Consequently, I intend to file a complaint and request a complete refund.

I approached Reiss Edwards with a partner visa case after having consulted a few agencies previously, all of which charged me for consultations. Due to the complications of my situation, all other agencies advised me to marry my partner - something we were not ready to do at the time. Reiss Edwards consultant Amar took the time to speak to me and understand the complexities of my situation. Amar was insightful and confident that I could successfully apply for an unmarried partner visa without having to get married. Amar was not looking to charge me for every piece of information, he was honest and I never felt that he was withholding information from me; irrespective of the risks with my application. I committed to Reiss Edwards and was assigned Zarish as my case solicitor. Zarish was extremely professional and organized, she understood my case from end to end and was quick to give me advice on any case related information. Second time using them 5 stars. Excellent communication and service from start to finish. Used them for my husbands spousal visa in 2021 got it in 5 weeks and used again for extension got in 3 weeks. Ajay Kapoor who dealt with my case was excellent always there on the phone or email and I irritated him a lot 🤣 he put my mind at ease always. My brain was truly fried with the visa but had nothing to worry about. 100% recommend them

Their incompetence in adhering to crucial deadlines is alarming and unacceptable. It is disheartening that the customer has to remind them about important correspondence from the Home Office constantly. Instead of taking ownership of their mistakes, they prefer to shift blame onto the Home Office. This lack of organization in managing their portfolio of customers inevitably leads to crucial deadlines being forgotten and errors occurring.The irony is striking regarding this Law firm and its employees, such as (Zarish & Ben). Despite being assigned a hearing date by the immigration tribunal, they dared to ask if the tribunal had indeed provided a hearing date just days before the hearing itself. It is beyond ridiculous. Furthermore, they even neglected to book a barrister for the hearing.Adding insult to injury, the Home Office sent an essential bundle of documents to both my address and Reiss Edwards. However, they misplaced the bundle and tried to shift the blame onto the Home Office. In the midst of it all, Zarish dared to insist that the Home Office should have thoroughly reviewed the bundle. How can the Home Office review it if they fail to send it on time to the tribunal?Astonishingly, this supposedly professional law firm still needs to have a proper complaints structure in place. In light of these appalling experiences, I have initiated a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman. These so-called legal firms need to understand the immense effort people put into earning their money. They must also learn that providing subpar service and demanding exorbitant fees will not go unchallenged.I strongly advise against engaging the services of this legal firm. Unless you are prepared to tolerate subpar service despite paying a significant sum of money, look elsewhere for legal representation.
