DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THIS PLACE
I'll start from the beginning. My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary, and to commemorate it, we booked a trip. However, we have a dog, a German Spitz, who is the love of our lives, our son. So, my husband and I started thinking about what we were going to do since the hotel didn't accept dogs. That's when I had a great idea: let's go to a resort for just one day. Let's leave Magic at a dog resort, no matter the price; we were willing to pay as long as he wasn't alone and was treated very well. I saw this place and looked at its appearance, and at first glance, it seemed super professional. So, I decided to leave my dog there for just one night. That's when my BIGGEST NIGHTMARE began. We left the love of our lives there on a Wednesday around six in the evening. The manager was very clear with us when she said, "You can call us ANYTIME, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE HERE TO LOOK AFTER YOUR DOG."When we arrived at our destination, I decided to call them, and I called over 50 times and absolutely no one answered. I panicked and wanted to call the police, but my husband wouldn't let me. We both panicked. When we finally got someone to check on the place, we discovered that at night the dogs are completely alone and locked in something they call a room—it's the same as locking your dog alone in the dark at night in a slightly larger cage. That said, if your dog gets sick, defecates, urinates, or runs out of water or food, they come back at seven in the morning for their shift, clean everything, and make it look beautiful again for the owners who pick up their dogs the next day. And since no one was there, no one could answer my calls. In other words, besides being a place where, in my opinion, the conditions in which the animals are left alone at night constitute animal abuse, we also have a manager who lies to us. Customers say that there will always be someone there you can call at any time. And to top it all off, I asked in the morning when they attended to me if they could take my dog home because I didn't want him to stay there another minute, because I paid for everything, the most expensive kind, and that was supposed to be included if I needed it, that's what they told me to sell me on it, right? Because the receptionist asked the owners directly, at least that's what she said, and the answer I got was, "We can't do anything for you, our insurance doesn't cover taking him home unless there's a serious emergency." So the problem isn't just with the employees, it's with the owner and the entire management. My dog has been in my arms since he was born. He had NEVER slept alone at night before; he's super sensitive. He sleeps in my bed. When I picked him up, his ears were back because he was so scared, and he wasn't the same. He's always been an energetic and happy dog, but now he's sad and afraid of everything. We're taking our time to recover from the trauma, both of us, but you don't need to go through what I went through. I've never written a review for any company, but I took the time to write this review. So, if you love your dog, please DO NOT LEAVE HIM AT THE K9 RESORT HOTEL IN BETHLEHEM. I know it looks nice, I know people talk nicely, I know it seems professional, but when nobody is there to see, your dog is surely suffering and crying in fear. Note: I don't want the company's false excuses and comments in my review; I'm just warning people not to go through the same absurdity and trauma I did.Ps.: In my desperation, I sent a message via their Instagram account to try to find out about my dog. they saw it and didn't respond. I also left this review on Google, and the owner basically responded by saying, in other words, that l was lying about the dogs being left alone at night, saying that I had been warned that they would be left alone, when in fact I was recording for social media at the time the manager told me that they would be with staff watching and caring for them 24/7. In other words, I have proof, and they did not take any responsibility. Anyway, you don't have to believe me, but please, before leaving your dog there, go to Google and other places and look at all the bad reviews, and you will see that they mistreat animals. Unfortunately, some owners praise them because they don't know what happens when the lights go out, because they pretend well
