I have been a regular customer

I have been a regular customer, but mainly for tires. Recently had a check engine light on. They reviewed and their quote would have been near $7,000 saying I needed a new catalytic convertor and other things for my Honda Pilot. I left and went to the Honda auto repair and they did the diagnostic, all it needed was new fuel injectors!! What a RIP OFF!! I no longer trust Firestone for my vehicles.

Bought my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT…

Bought my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT new at 2016. In October 2022 water pump gave out just 20 ft. from firestone so I got a new water pump at firestone. May of 2025 water pump went out again. Took it back to firestone and got confirmation. They said the warranty is only for a year. Keep in my I been doing at least 50 miles on average a day give or take. My O.E. pump lasted about 6 years and some months. The pump they installed (which i was unaware was a Napa part) lasted a little over 2 years and by the way the Napa part was over 230.00 dollars at 2022. An O.E. pump (Mopar) is 117.00 dollars at 2025. They was going to charge me over 600.00 dollars for a new pump and service. They was not going to try and give me a discounts for the over priced bad part that could not operate at least a full three years. This was firestone at Smyrna D.E. I am highly disappointed but this does not reflect the mechanics. This is strictly for the management that felt no responsibility for the bad experience. Time to find another repair station

Firestone’s Negligence Left My Car Undrivable—And They Refuse to Take Responsibility!

This review is specifically for Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 5215 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60630.I trusted Firestone Complete Auto Care to align my BMW 750 before a family road trip, but their negligence caused severe damage to my vehicle. Firestone performed two alignments within the same year but failed to follow BMW’s standard procedures both times by not replacing critical bolts. As a result, my wheels shifted out of place while driving, causing severe tire wear and damage to the control arms and suspension components of my car. Despite admitting their mistake, Firestone refused to cover the damage, leaving me with an undrivable car and over $1,000 in repair costs.I’ve contacted Firestone Corporate, filed a BBB complaint, and have yet to receive a response. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. Avoid Firestone if you care about your vehicle’s safety and your wallet.#FirestoneFail #PoorService #CustomerServiceFail #AutoCare #ConsumerRights

BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE!!! 11290 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33905As I was fueling my F150, the gas pump kept shutting off like my tank was full. It took approximately 20 minutes to fill up. I did not think anything of it, contributing it to a gas pump that had too much pressure behind it. Truck was running fine, without any signs or symptoms of any issues. A day or two later, the check engine light illuminated. I took it to AutoZone and had them run a diagnostics test. The test revealed that I needed to replace a faulty fuel tank isolation valve. When I Googled the part/issue, I discovered that the gas pump shutting off like it did was a sign of that faulty part. The valve is on top of the trucks fuel tank and I did not have the means to do it on my own.Being new to the area, I did not have a mechanic that I trusted. I decided to bring it to this Firestone since I have had good experiences at a different location in Dunedin, FL. I told the associate what the AutoZone test showed along with giving them a copy of the results. They ran their own diagnostics and called with the results, which did not include the part the AutoZone test revealed. When I questioned that, they assured me that their solution would fix the issue at a cost of $832.18.When I picked up my truck a few hours later, the check engine light was off and it seemed to be running the same as before the repair, no signs/symptoms. I had to travel for work, so I didn't drive it for close to 2 weeks. When it was time to fuel up. I had the same issue with the gas pump shutting down. I brought the truck back to the same Firestone. I informed them that I felt like they didn't fix the original issue and sold me unrelated parts/repair. They ran another diagnostic test and it showed that the part listed on the AutoZone test (what I originally told them and showed them ) was the faulty one and that it would now cost over $1000.00 to repair. I feel that they just ignored the AutoZone test summary and sold me unrelated parts and repair. They failed to take responsibility and fix the issue without another cost to myself.

Disrespect Employee

I have always loved, having my car serviced at Firestone. I moved to SC a few months back, and my husband and I decided to find a local Firestone in my new area. The new location was here in Taylors, South Carolina, on Wade Hampton boulevard. I felt confident in taking my car to Firestone, as I have taken it to firestone's at my old location before, and had great results. When it came to my car being serviced, everything was great! When it came to checking out, and asking questions about my vehicle, that was a whole nother experience. I explained some other concerns I may have had about my vehicle to tha gentleman who was checking me out. I believe his name was Brent, or Brett! He was very rude from the start, and was trying to rush me out. He treated me with much disrespect, like I was a nuisance to him. He acted like I knew nothing about cars, and that he was beyond knowledgeable about vehicles. He made me feel like my questions where not warranted, or even something he wanted to hear about. I understand I'm not a mechanic, but I still have the right to ask questions, or even to learn about certain things about my vehicle. I was very disappointed in his customer service. I even asked to speak to someone else, but unfortunately he was the only one in the position to speak with me, as he was supposedly the manager?? I didn't understand why Firestone would have him in a manageable position, with his horrible customer service skills. I went on to read other reviews online, to see if anyone else had written reviews on that particular location. To my surprise, numerous people had the same problem with this person. Come to find out there, are multiple reports of his impersonal disrespect to other clients in this area. I will not be returning to this Firestone location.Wife & Husband

#755788 Daphne AL-USE THIS LOCATION!

#755788 Daphne AL-I would give this location 10 stars if I could! Seriously people, if you appreciate GOOD friendly professional customer service, USE THIS LOCATION. Not only did they start my appointment with a positive experience-accepting the online appointment within 10 minutes, they continued to blast it out of the park! Lauren was very busy when I walked in, yet greeted me when she could. She then proceeded to explain how things would go. With only one tech in the shop, she stepped in to do what she could do to expedite the services I had requested. She then professionally and efficiently explained about other services that were available and didn't patronize me like another Firestone location (ahem, store #543012, looking at you and YOUR techs and store mgr, Andrew). Even with a larger issue that walked in the door, and other vehicles there when I arrived, Lauren and Ted still managed to get me out the door in less than an hour and a half. I was never felt like I was being an inconvenience-as one review had for Mike H at #543012 for being on his phone. My car was waiting for me at the front door and I noticed my reminder for my next oil change was computer-produced and easy to read, not handwritten in a scrawl which was hard to read like the last place (yeah store 543012 that was you, too!)The drive was across the bay, but EVERY bit worth it. I'll be a repeat customer for sure!

Firestone - Bad Service

I've been going to Firestone for over 20 years with great service but they are going downhill quickly. I started going to the location at 136th and Huron because the Manager Joel from 120th moved over there. Since then he has left the business and the customer service at this location left with him. The new manager a young lady named Abbi is awful! She is argumentative, rude and spends most of her time flirting and laughing with the male technicians.I had made an online appointment to purchase new snow tires. When I arrived, Abbi was sitting inside the bay area with the guys and I waited at least 10 minutes before she acknowledged me. I told her I had an appointment and she stated that I did NOT. I showed her the confirmation on my phone and she said "you don't have an appointment unless you get an appointment confirmation, not just an online confirmation"!?!? What does that mean? Anyway, I was sent away and I made another appointment for the next weekend. I called mid week to ensure I REALLY had an appointment and confirmed that they had the tires I ordered in stock. I was told I DID have an appointment and the tires would be in stock and ready to be put on.I arrived on Saturday 11/12 at 10am for my appointment and left my car for a simple tire change. I returned at 3pm and they had not even started working on my car. Abbi told me that they did not have the tires in stock. I asked "what's the point of making an appointment and confirming?" She said "well, we really don't take appointments....we just work on cars when we can!?! WHAT??? I can't believe this woman is the Manager. We got into an argument and she was VERY rude and unprofessional. I told her that if she would have given me a reasonable expectation of timing for services I would have been more understanding. Apparently Firestone lets you make an appointment online to get your business but the location decides whether you get service in a timely manner or not. At Abbi's shop you do not! She is on her own agenda. I sat for 2.5 more hours waiting for my car to have snow tires put on from an appointment at 10am. As I sat there, I watched her and many of the male technicians laughing, having fun, flirting etc. while no one was getting any work done. She told me they were short staffed but three of them were sitting at the counter in the bay area doing nothing. As well, another customer came in thinking he was going to pick up his car and they told him "they lost the paperwork" and sent him away.Waiting 7.5 hours for a simple tire purchase is ridiculous!!! Abbi obviously told her "boys" that I was irritated and when the guy went to ring me up for over $1,000 he was rude and indifferent. I had told him I wanted to make sure I got my all season tires back before I left. She came back and asked "which tires were yours?" SERIOUSLY? I said "I don't know, you just took them off my car!!!" She said "just pull up to the first bay and we will find your tires and put them in your car." When I walked out, the guy that charged me said loudly and sarcastically, "Have a nice day!" The whole team at this location is rude, don't care about customers, and the company is putting up with it.Don't go to Firestone....ESPECIALLY the location at 136th and Huron!

suspension work

Spent 3000.00 to fix suspension, they left out the several bolts. Took it back, they still left out three. Broke center hubs, didn't fix. Very dishonest. Unsafe work.

Hmmm!

Ok, I am going to apologize first, Just in case I am mistaken. "I apologize". But I had over $1300.00 worth of work done on the Firestone on Stephanie (Henderson, Nevada) with via "R" and I don't think that all of the work was actually done, i.e., brakes, alignment, coolant system flush, wipers, tires. My vehicle did not perform better (alignment) and my brakes squeak.I took it back. They couldn't find "anything" as he matter of fact said! Look I appreciate the line of credit which they suggested and I accepted. But I am "NOT at ALL" convinced that "everything was actually done.I am in my senior years.....so I've been to a few spots! However never have I ever felt this way before.Yes, I will pay the line of credit balance and only use my "line of credit" whenever necessary "AT ANOTHER LOCATION"!Use your better judgement!

Remigio took Extra care of my car at…

Remigio took Extra care of my car at the Firestone on Irving Park Rd. He told me exactly what was wrong with my car. Said it would take an hour because they were busy, however within 45 minutes my car was finished. Price was reasonable. If you ever have car troubles I would recommend Firestone in Hanover Park, on Irving Park Road.

Not the trusted Firestone I knew

I bought my first tires from this Firestone store next to North Park Mall in Joplin Missouri, well over 25 years ago. I've seen it change from a well-priced and trusted service center to an over-priced and under-staffed wait-a-thon. I can't tell you how many oil changes and tires I've bought here, but at some point they just went downhill. Judy, a former customer service rep, was just amazing. It seems like about the time she retired things went south. I now take my cars to Mitchell's Mobile 1 on Rangeline for servicing and buy my tires from Discount Tire.
