Unpleasant phone call

I simply wanted to clarify the information that I was going through to the screener/ operator and on my end it seems like I was being yelled at! If that was the case it was not appreciated the tone came across short plus quick tempered. One never means to cause confusion nor make anyone’s day hard I just want what is being communicated clear and timely!

They lie to much

You guy's lied on me about my pickup time and give me a route number, Then when it's time for me to leave you wait till that Day of pick-up to tell me I'm not registered, You guys lied and are terrible

This company is a total fraud

This company is a total fraud. Humana has contracted rideshare services through them, and they have yet to come pick me up for any of my appointment. I’ve had quite a few since January, many of which are related to significant cardiovascular events. Because of our visual impairment, I do not have Access to their services because I “don’t have a driver.“ Avoid them like the plague.

It's 10 months later MODIVCARELESS and NO RESOLVE!

Hello, I am writing about my personal experience with Modivcare from New Mexico as a patient who has had a failure to achieve any reimbursement for travel made on 1/10/2023. This company has a duty to reimburse patients which must travel long distances to receive care when a locally available doctor does not exist as is the case in many smaller towns. This company from the start was incapable at providing me the necessary forms/ trip travel logs with (weeks) of advanced notice of an upcoming Drs. appt. This is because they had to "send them to me in mail" << what a joke it's 2023 and we all have computers and email, but not these guys because they only accept STONE-AGE FAXES or sent copys! The only reason for this is because they are intentionally trying to make the process as difficult as possible PERIOD. They eventually sent the forms I requested weeks prior which I received WEEKS AFTER THE APPT! Usually the people you reach by phone are pleasant enough but the results are 180 degrees from the conversation! Since I did NOT have the forms at the time of my appointment I had to now send those forms to the doctors office by mail. Weeks later they were signed off on and then placed in the mail to be sent back to me. Next the for Mileage reimbursement logs were sent to Modivcare, or as I like to call them MODIVCARELESS!The address they were sent to was as follows on "their" forms. Modivcare Claims Dept 798 Park Ave. NW., 4th Floor Norton, VA 24273. As weeks go by I received no paid claim. Again after multiple hours on the phone I reached someone who suggested the claim was not paid because it was missing a "Trip/Job#" I was like may I have that so I can re-submit the claim and the customer relations person gave it to me. YOU KNOW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU WOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN PROCESSING MY REQUEST, BUT NO JUST DEAD SILENCE FROM MODIVCARELESS. Mind you this was the second time I sent the forms to Modivcareless before I received the needed information a CSR to resubmit the forms with the trip# a simple 6 digit # which they have BTW yet need you to ink it in form them after all their initial failures to correct their incompetence from the start.So again the forms were sent, and still 9 MONTH'S LATER no reimbursement, So I contacted the STATE OF NEW MEXICO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND FILED A WELL DESERVED COMPLAINT FOR FAILURE OF SERVICE UPON MODIVCARELESS. And since BCBS has stepped in to attempt to rectify the situation since they are the ones who CONTRACT this service through MODIVECARELESS. As of today I have still not been made whole. I WILL CONTINUE TO INFORM THE PUBLIC AT LARGE ABOUT THIS SMILE IN YOUR FACE AND DO NOTHING COMPANY FOR A TIME EQUIVALENT TO THE TIME FROM JANUARY 10TH OF 2023 UNTIL MY RE-IMBURSEMENT OR MY INVOLVEMENT OF MY ATTORNEY AS THE COSTS GO UP. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company for anything other than toilet paper, and if you are considering using this company as as a solution like BCBS put them to the test and see how well they keep their word before doing ANY BUSINESS with them. In my Experience they are "ABSOLUTE GARBAGE" as they smile and say they'll fix it to your face! NOPE, NATA, NO on MODIVCARELESS!

Expensive terrible service

Today is the first and last time I will use their services. I didn't want to spend money on a taxi so the imaging center set up an appointment with logisticare for me. They came at 12:30 pm, my appointment was for 2pm and I was to be picked up at 1pm. They don't honk or anything so I was lucky that I was up at 12.I had a logisticare bus pick me up. It was worse than an old school bus. It was bumpy and I kept slipping out of my seat that was made for very skinny people. The air conditioning was very weak. It took around 30 minutes to be picked up after my early ultrasound. So, the rides were consistant for me.I asked for an appointment to go to the doctors office next week which was a 30-min walk from my house. They made me wait a lot on the phone and then said I would have to pay $80 with Medicaid. In comparison, a taxi would be $6 one way with a total of $12. To hell with that.My mom also used their lyfts to go 40 minutes to a surgeon and had one be late to picking her up and she constantly had to move appointment times around and have to call logistcare again.If you ever think about needing to go to anywhere, just take a taxi or directly get an Uber or lyft.

I thought they couldn't get any worse! (MODIVCARE}

they stood me up again for the second time in less than a week. I was scheduled for a 8:30 - 9:00 am pickup for a 9:30 meeting. I received a call at 7:48am that my ride would be thre in 10 minutes. I explained to the driver that I need more than a 10 minute notice and that he was at least an hour early. He told me he was the driver of a rideshare and that I would have to ride around with him until my appointment time. I refused! I notified logisticare and they verified my scheduled ride time and that I would have a pickup then. I knew representative was lying and had prepared myself to call LYFT for a ride. At 8:45 no email or phone call that I usually get when my ride is showing up! I called Logggggisticare again is was told I TURNED DOWN THE RIDE! i told them this would happen and they assured me the 7:48 guy was NOT my ride. I called LYFT and made my meeting. They asked me if I caould reschedule my appointment for an hour later since hey had no drivers in my area. Second botched ride in less than a week! This company willNOT be in business at the end of the year!!!.... Bozo the Clown! They have a new name MODIVCARE, but even worse service!

Worst Company Ever

Modivcare screws you over on your trip sheets they go from weekly pay to whenever they want to pay without any kind of notification. They are a terrible terrible company. When you call the modivcare billing whoever you talk to is so disrespectful it's disgusting. Someone needs to buy modivcare out and do a complete overhaul on the whole system. People rely on their gas mileage reimbursement to get to medical appointments. This is very upsetting because now I have to cancel the rest of my appointments.

Dear Fellow Patients & ModivCare Board Members ,I am writing to express my frustration with the services provided by Modivcare Virginia Transportation. As someone who depends on this service to get to my medical appointments, I, like so many dissatisfied patients, have had multiple negative experiences with this company.These include canceled rides, difficulty reaching customer service, long wait times, rude representatives, being stranded for more than 4 hours multiple times, and being lied to about ride activation after waiting 45 mins. Careless and negligent booking of appointments is also a major issue.It is clear that this is a systemic problem that needs to be addressed by those at top. Therefore, I encourage all patients with similar problems to reach out to the Modivcare's Board members, President of Modivcare Ilias Simpson, CEO L. Heath Sampson, CCO Jody Kepler, and Vice President Jonathan B. Bush. You can find their information on the Modivcare website (https://www. modivcare.com/ company/ leadership) or on LinkedIn if you can’t find their contact information.I encourage you to also reach out to BBB, your insurance company and your local government regarding your complaints, as they have contracted Modivcare to provide quality needed services to the community.We cannot rely on complaining to the supervisor or manager of the local Modivcare offices, as this is an in-house issue. We must take our complaints to the top of the chain, to the people who have the POWER to make the much-needed changes.If any board member of Modivcare is reading this, I would like to respectfully request that you take our complaints seriously. The attention and intervention of the board are needed by the community you serve. People's lives are at risk if no action is taken to reform your local Modivcare offices responsible for serving those in need.Sincerely,A Dissatisfied Patient

My mother had a very important medical appointment this morning. Logisticare was a no call no show and now she has to wait two months for another appointment, unless there's a cancelation. They're under new management but the service seems to be getting worse!!!

Horrible Service, Unreliable & Unprofessional

In less then a month I've experienced HORRIBLE customer service, unreliability and 3 missed Dr appointments due to Motivecare no shows. I've experienced:~ 12/5/22: The driver who was supposed to pick me up didn't arrive. I called Motivecare and inquired about my ride. I was told the driver called Motivecare from the town hall a half mile away then left. I don't live at the town hall. No one called to say they were nearby. I missed another scheduled Dr appointment because of this half assed effort the driver put in. Then they even tried to charge me with a "no show", which can get me kicked out of the transportation program. I called the main office and told them this was unacceptable. I filed the 1st official complaint the day this happened.~ 12/21/22 I was left at a Dr appointment for 7 hrs. I watched the L & L Transportation of Ellsworth kid driver leave the parking lot right in front of me. I was waving my crutches at him but should have thrown them in front of the car so he couldn't drive away. The kid said his dad owns the business so he has a free job & doesn't care about the people they are paid to SERVE.Motivecare is run so horribly that it took them an additional 7 hrs to arrange another ride home for me. L & L didn't fulfill their travel contract to get me to and from the Dr appointment. Funny their slogan is, "We'll get you there and back." They just forgot to add "eventually." I filed a second official complaint against this "driver" (case # 52612659) ~01/05/2023: Today I had an extremely important medical appointment. My ride was late, so I called to see where my driver was. She looked in her computer and casually said, "Your rides today are canceled due to weather." The problem is no one informed me. This was an extremely important appointment for my healing so I can walk again.Whoever is in charge doesn't take any responsibility. Instead of SERVING MaineCare people with transportation their philosophy seems to be "bill as much as possible with zero reliability & horribly unprofessional mistreatment of vulnerable healthcare patients."I have specifically requested to NEVER use any other drivers but Downeast Partners Transportation. If it's true that Motivecare purchased L and L Transportation, there is a serious conflict of interest here. They waited 7 hours to call Downeast Partners for a ride home because they wanted L and L to get the contract when the kid drove off and left me stranded outside during a storm. The kind Downeast driver told me Motivecare didn't even tell them I needed a ride, seemingly trying to line their pockets instead with their preferred unreliable drivers (who never arrived).I have heard so many horror stories so my experience is not unique. I feel terrible for sick or elderly people who need help getting to appointments like me, get screwed over, but don't feel they can speak up because this totally unprofessional "business" is all we have to get to our medical care appointments.

THE WORST UNRELIABLE COMPANY

This is the worst company out there for anything especially medical. MyHUSBAND has missed 2 appointments so far and kept having to reschedule. They ARE EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE . I tried getting a supervisor but THEY ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING. They are messing with peoples lives and well-being. THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST!

Ride to follow up appointment with…

Ride to follow up appointment with doctor after vascular surgery two days ago did not show up. Then they tied up my Uber account by booking a ride on Uber without my consent. Uber would have arrived after my appointment time. I had to drive myself, against doctor's orders. This company is shamefully inept

This is the worst company out there for anything especially medical. My mother has missed 3 appointments so far and kept having to reschedule. They never show up. The people on the phone are rude as hell. I tried getting a supervisor but she refused to get one. Language barrier was an issue as well. I’ve had to take time off work just so my mother wouldn’t miss another appointment. They are messing with peoples lives and well-being

I don't give it 0 stars because I can't. These are negligent and inhumane people. My grandmother is 93 years old and her cataract surgery took me months. I had to make the appointment three times because the driver never showed up and they never came looking for us. They ended up sending Uber to me. grandmother with a recently operated pacemaker hrs after surgery in a wheel chair I hope to God that some lawyer reads this and calls me because this is not done to anyone God bless everyone who reads this message.

Incompetent company that doesn't respect patients.

Since Modivcare transportation services are covered through my UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan, I expected my roundtrip reservation in February to be very professional, prompt, and let me know when my ride was arriving via a text or phone call. Instead, the driver cancelled both of my trips saying I wasn't out front of my residence and doctor's office. Since my doctor's appointment was for a Colonoscopy, I ended up driving my self to the surgical center and being 35 minutes late. When my procedure was completed, I waited for word from the driver he or she was in the parking lot. No communication at all! I had to call Modivcare for information and they said my ride home was cancelled. I was furious with them! They sent an Uber driver to pick me up that took close to 2 hours to arrive. Why do Insurance companies use this company when they are so incompetent? Patient's deserve better treatment!

Courtney was my CSR

Courtney was my CSR. She did an amazing job! I was upset because my ride never showed and she was so kind to me and helped me feel better and more safe than I was feeling. She took very good care of me. I wish she could help me everytime I call.

If I could put a zero I would this…

If I could put a zero I would this company is unprofessional and ran by what seems to be every foreigner they can find so we can barely understand them when they talk. I’ve been trying to get a standing order for months they can’t figure out how to recieve a fax. Last year they told me nobody really checks the fax machine so in becomes over flowed your paper probably got lost how are we supposed to work with a a company like this oh yeah we have to cuz it’s the only service are insurance will help with and LogistiCare know this and take advantage of the elderly, disabled and addicted who need actual help but the company always gives you the runaround. Worst phone service possible none of the employees that use the phone service have a clue about ANYTHING.

I have never in my life conducted…

I have never in my life conducted business with an incompetent company. For two in a roll we have miss appointments. The lies they tell are unbelievable. Instead of saying that they have a driver, I would have respect the truth, they do not have one. We could of made other arrangements. Still waiting for supervisor to call, that's been an hour ago. Give Lyft or Uber the business!
