Location by firehouse sub in North lake area by the mall I'm giving it a one only because first I was approved and then I waited all day about 3 hours until it was time for them to close for them to tell me that something is wrong with my check stub saying I didn't make the amount that it says that I gave them the amount the day before over the phone they asked me how much do I make every two weeks I gave them the amount I told them I didn't know how much but it was between the amount that I gave them before the taxes are taken out but it comes 4:59 after I had to be going to pick up my kids but they said then on top of that my credit score went all the way down a hard pull on my credit if I know that was going to happen I'm thinking to myself that I'm a approved so okay I'm going to be walking out the door soon with what I came for but they had me waiting around I guess the young lady that was taken care of me was in training which I enjoyed talking to her but her manager comes in the door saying something about a check so I really didn't understand what he was saying because it was given attitude for what reason I don't know so I was just ready to go before I go off I already didn't want to do the loan but I needed it for my son's graduation because I didn't want to do a loan give them my information and already had fraud issues on my cards and stuff that made my credit go down because people using my information now now I don't waste my time what's really pissing me off is that I did application online then I came in I shouldn't have to do a lot of stuff if I got information it shouldn't it's right there in the computer that shows all my information so why is I'm waiting about 3 hours and filling out information then told that the reason why I was all the way approved it's because the amount I make but they seen the information online they seem the check stubs in their face so that's the reason I'm giving it a one not because of the lady that was helping me cuz she was doing she was learning apparently is the manager that came in with the attitude at the end like y'all just waste my time like I done something wrong like I lied about something on my application which I didn't I went by what they asked me on the phone about how much I made which is accurate

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE
I called to inform you about the death of my husband. I was inquiring about lowering my payment since my income has been halved. Mia talks really fast and I didn’t understand that she was rewriting the loan which made the total of the loan go over the original amount we borrowed. She had to use 3 computers and call tech help and finally after over 45 minutes I was out. I didn’t realize what happened until I got home and saw the welcome email and the total amount of the loan. I didn’t get copies for some reason. I called her and said I wanted to go back to the original loan and she was obviously very defensive about it stating that she explained everything to m. I beg to differ. She must get a commission for new loans because when I went back to the office she was RUDE. The day before she was all smiles and giggles. She told me (and my daughter) to sit down by the window; she wouldn’t make eye contact. She called me up twice and told me to sit back down. She didn’t say hello, goodbye. One could tell that she was mad. I wanted to to continue with the original loan that carried a balance of about $4000; not start over at &5k plus at an unbelievable, extremely high interest rate. I will do my best to pay this off asap because I want nothing to do with your company after those two schizo encounters. I am a 78 year old grieving widow who is not stupid enough to fall for fast talking, incoherent babble.

No monthly statements
They gladly gave me a loan. It's taken out of my checking account automatically. They can send me letters saying I've been pre-approved for a loan, BUT to date I have not received anything in the regular mail or by email telling me what is owed on my loan or a monthly statement. Tried to set up an online account with them and all I get is a run around. When my loan is finally paid off I'm done with this company.

WARNING!! Extremely High Interest Rate!!!
It was super easy to get a loan from Mariner. HOWEVER, the interest rate is ridiculously HIGH. Plus, you cannot transfer to a 0% interest rate card. The only way you can make payments is through your bank or debit card. It's impossible to pay this off unless you make additional payments. The customer service is never helpful.

Was great to be able to borrow money a while ago for something I needed taking care of. Check cashed quickly, without a hitch. HOWEVER, its the AMOUNT you have to repay that is RIDICULOUS. The APR is out of this world. Lets say you borrow $5000, youll be paying back about $8000. Even though theyre up front, and show you how much youll repay in their letter, its STILL RIDICULOUS. But, what other choice do you have if you need money ASAP? Would use them again if their interest rate..typically about 25%..wasnt so high, and even though the terms and .APR is clearly outlined BEFORE you sign the document, its STILL ridiculous, and to have to pay back so much more, on top of what you owe, youre better off borrowing from a friend or a family member.
