TAXI SCAM
On July 22nd, 2025, my wife and I needed a ride from MCO to The View Hotel located at 9309 South Blossom Trail Rd, Orlando, FL. After speaking with a taxi attendant, we were given Taxi #53 and the driver was arrogant and less than friendly. After loading our luggage into the trunk and we sat in the rear seat, he started our meter off at $11.55 before takeoff and it was $2 every half mile after that. At the end of our ride, the charge was over $38 with gratuity $43.87 for a seven and a half mile journey. I don't understand how a so-called legitimate company allows their taxi drivers to take advantage of out-of-town tourists. I know for a fact that we were RIPPED OFF! I would never use this transportation company again and if you're reading this review, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM TAXI #53. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
