Poor Customer Service and Overcharging
Global Payments and Vyne Dental offered a package deal for submitting dental claims. My office was charged annual fees and monthly fees from Global Payments independently of the Vyne Trelis monthly fees. This was not part of the agreement. Global Payments representatives pick up the phone and hang it up consistently. In addition, I've been placed on hold and the phone suddenly disconnects. I had to go through the better business bureau to get a phone number to speak to someone who finally canceled my account.

Large Fees
I would pay very close attention to their fees. They slowly increase their rates very high. Please be very careful, it could destroy your business with what they slowly begin to charge.

I would like to share my experience…
I would like to share my experience regarding my recent involvement with a service recommended by Demandforce for online payments. I signed up through Glen from Integrated Solutions Consultant (ISC), but unfortunately, the process was not explained clearly to me. I later discovered that there is a substantial cancellation fee of $500, which was not communicated upfront. I'm quite surprised that such important information was not highlighted, as it seems counterproductive for a company to have policies that could frustrate their customers. I hope this feedback can encourage better transparency in the future.

Buyer Beware - They'll rip you off
Buyer Beware. The guys are rip off artists. I originally signed up with them only because my industry software program required it for the purposes of integrated payment processing. This year, over a short period, they raised my overall rate from about 3.5% to nearly 10% without any warning. The essentially stole 60K from me. When I complained, the gave me a "rate review" and lowered my rate but would not agree to a refund. based on the comments here, I wonder if there is enough momentum for a class action suit

Ridiculously high fees that continue to get higher the longer you stay. PCI process is also poor. Extremely time-consuming throughout the year. Nothing good to say.

Scam artists
This company scams you into signing up with promises of lower overall transaction fees, but once you do they start overcharging.Their support is almost useless, it took months of going back and forth, having to open up multiple tickets, and being told the issue is on the my booking SW side, before they finally admitted the issue was theirs, and even then it took weeks to solve, but finally did because I got the one guy that actually cared enough to get resolve it.Most of the time I was told I would be called back and never did.Every time they answer it's with "How can I make your day better," but they don't actually do anything for the fees they charge.Go with anyone else, you'll pay about the same or less, and at least you'll get a trusted company that doesn't try to hide their upcharges "oh that's what the credit card companies charge us"Talk to your bank about merchant services, if you have a good relationship with them it will cost you much less.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! $85.41 Monthly Charge for NO transactions
DO NOT USE!! EVEN WHEN YOU RECEIVE $0 PAYMENTS FROM CUSTOMERS, THE MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE IS 85.41. WATCH FOR THESE COMPANIES THAT USE THE "EVERGREEN" AUTOMATIC RENEWAL CLAUSE! NOT ONLY DOES IT NOT ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL IF YOU CANCEL PAST THE AUTO RENEWAL TIME FRAME, THEY INCREASED OUR BILL OVER $228 AT THE RENEWAL! THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO PRORATE, FOR A DAY, FOR A MONTH- NOTHING- EVEN WHEN YOU CALL TO CANCEL ON THE RENEWAL DAY.

There's always something going wrong
After being overcharged fees repeatedly and having to have them canceled on more than one occasion I decided to end my business with Open Edge. Customer service isn't easy to deal with, but I finally submitted the correct forms and got an email on August 17, 2017 saying my accounts were closed. I get a bill in September with three new service charges totaling $95. I called one number, was told my accounts were NOT closed, and that I need to call a separate number. I call that number and after providing my merchant number, business name and my name, I'm told I have to provide the bank account number associated or the taxpayer ID number. I do appreciate security; however, as a sole practitioner I don't carry those things around with me through the day. More disturbingly it seems that depending on the 800 number you call, this might or might not be the enforced policy. Bottom line, my entire 18 months using this company felt like they were trying to sneak extra money out of me constantly, and their customer service system is labyrinthine. I would hope there are much easier companies to deal with than Open Edge.
