Received Spices as a gift
Received Spices as a gift. They were just the same as store bought no better. The hateful rants on the packaging are just not necessary. Just sell the product!!!

I’m very happy with this gift!
I bought a kitchen starter pack for my granddaughter for Christmas because I couldn’t think what else to get her. She loved it and says everything she has made using them has been delicious! I also like that it came with a small cookbook to give her ideas with how to use them. I think it even included a cute dish towel. Very happy with this gift!

Penzeys Spices are the freshest most delicious spices I have ever purchased. They have almost any spice you can think of - and they offer them in lots of different sizes so you can get just what you need.

Spices with a political sermon
Spices are fine, just know that they'll be served with a political sermon.I'm neither Democrat nor Republican, and I support the owner's freedom to express their views, but when someone decides to do that as a business, there are repercussions.I don't need AOC. I don't need Trump. Just give us some spices without the preaching, please.

I stopped spending my money on Penzy spices after reading their extremely woke mission statement! Penzys should focus on improving their products rather than attacking half of their customer base. This is a very hateful organization! I support Christian owned businesses.

Website laced with ANTI-Conservative "Wokeness"
When I received my order I also received two "bonus" packs of spices with anti- Conservative and Anti- republican propaganda written all over it. I went to look up my order, and then saw a 9 paragraph diatribe titled "About Republicans" on their website. It was condescending, and pious and ridiculous. I returned my order, and will never order there again. Keep your "wokeness" out of business. Everyone should follow suit.

Highest Quality at Reasonable Prices
Spices are noticeably much higher quality than the usual McCormick, Morton & Bassett, etc. Penzy’s are also quite affordable, which is pretty great given how good they are. Definitely a great value and they have a ton of variety.

I've been a happy Penzeys customer for…
I've been a happy Penzeys customer for years, but my last order was handled very poorly. My order was opened during shipping, the package delivered to me had been previously opened and again taped shut. No tag stating why it was opened. I can only assume someone decided to go through the package for fun. One of the spice jars was popped open without breaking the seal and spilled out in the package. I was unable to discern how many other jars had been opened, but I was not comfortable keeping and using the spices - I don't know how much tampering occurred. I contacted UPS and my neighbors (UPS originally said package was misdelivered - then it wasn't) and no resolution. I then decided to return to Penzeys for a replacement order. I was about two weeks out from my original order at this point. Penzeys said they would send UPS to pick up the package, but it was a five day wait for UPS. Then they would not send a replacement order until UPS picked up the damaged original order. All in all, this would have added another week and a half to delivery. I asked if they would ship sooner since I purchased the order for a holiday event and was told no. Since the order would not arrive before my event and the spices were purchased for this event, I requested a refund and they issued the refund right away. I don't understand why this company would issue a refund, but deny replacement in a reasonable period of time. I felt their actions were punitive because I decided to send the package back. In contrast, UPS delivered a package for a previous resident of my home. I contacted UPS at 5:30pm on a Friday and the package was picked up Saturday afternoon. There was no reason for Penzeys to make me wait several days for pickup then deny replacement until they received a botched order I had no control over. Needless to say, my relationship with Penzeys is damaged. They handled the situation very poorly. I guess they have so many customers, they freely burn relationships. ***NOTE - this post has nothing to do with politics. As I stated, I have been a Penzeys customer for years. This review is specifically how Penzeys handled an order delivery issue.

Legit business, both online and in store. The bad reviews are from butt hurt republicans. Great spices and blends.

I love the spices not the divisive politics
I love the spices. We always visit a penzies to stock up when we visit America but this last visit (August) it felt really divisive. Ok they seem to only employ Democrats (isn’t that discrimination?) and don’t like Trump but why do they have to let their views and politics spill over onto their customer experience. I’m sad for America. So much anger and hatred and very little tolerance for different views and opinions.

I used to buy spices from their brick…
I used to buy spices from their brick and mortar store in Cleveland, Ohio. It has closed along with many other stores. After going to their website, I now see why their stores are closing down. Just sell your overpriced spices and keep politics out of it. Why have a page that says about Republicans? Everything in this ridiculous article is nothing but projection. Projection:In psychology, projection is a defense mechanism where an individual attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to another person. Essentially, someone might accuse someone else of something they are secretly guilty of or feel uncomfortable with themselves. I will never buy their overpriced spices again. If you want spices that are just as good and definitely cheaper go to Spice House!

Just sell spices!
Along with 40,000 other people I had to unsubscribe from the Penzey Spices newsletter because of the hatred Bill Penzey spews. I just want good spices and do not want to know what Mr. Penzey thinks about anything.

This company is absolutely…
This company is absolutely disgusting!!! Their advertisement sent out today and using the term “Nazi” over and over again. How low can you possibly go when you try and make a buck to sell your product. Why not just say “celebrate VE Day”? I contacted Bill Penzey personally and the following is his response. “We knew this would alienate “up with Nazis” customers. We were okay with that.”Shocking that this is the statement from Mr. Bill Penzey. Regardless where you stand politically I don’t believe anyone should “throw around” the term Nazi so flippantly considering over 6 million people were exterminated by the Nazi’s.Do better Mr. Penzey!!!
