Delays & Lack of Communication Were Nothing Short Of A Fuster-Cluck!

What a fuster-cluck from the beginning! Bought an 85-in TV from Walmart.com and wasn't happy about the 9-day delivery day wait, but not much I could do about that. With 48-hrs I receive a text from Pilot stating I need to schedule an appointment time, I click the provided link and it still states as of today "your order can not be found to schedule" and then directs me to call a number. God only knows how many times I've called that number and press "1" for domestic customers and SILENCE!! I still can get the link to work or someone to answer the phone, but somehow the order has been delayed again and I somehow have agreed to a new delivery date and time per their system. Funny, trying to contact someone at Pilot is about as successful as trying to get a bill passed in congress! I've contacted Walmart several times, they said they can't cancel once Pilot issues a tracking number and I will have to return it. First of all, I don't have a vehicle LARGE enough to transport an 85-inch TV, so that's ridiculous! I've had to learn on my own that I can actually refuse the delivery and Pilot will then return the item to the Walmart warehouse it came from. The item was NOT in transit when I first tried to cancel and Walmart said it was too late to cancel and I would have to wait for it to be delivered first. What an absolute waste of diesel fuel from Orlando, FL to Western North Carolina! BTW, it should be mentioned that Pilot provides you a delivery time of 10 AM - 8 PM that requires a signature! Enough said! I bought a TV in 2019 that was delivered by Pilot and I went through the exact same crap, it's pretty obvious Pilot doesn't care about the customer (AT ALL), their track record and LENGTH of their negative track record screams such! Pilot knows most people assume the retailer they purchased their item from delivers the item. So when something goes wrong it's the retailer that generally takes the negative customer feedback. It must be profitable given the lengthy history of the HORRIBLE customer service in several key areas involving Pilot. So here we are with another company that doesn't give a crap, because they don't have to as long as retailers continue to be complicit in their behavior.I've already went to Best Buy and purchased a TV that was in-stock, although Best Buy uses Pilot as well for large and heavy items, but my TV was in-store... The new (3rd) delayed delivery date is supposedly Monday (12th), so if someone is even here Monday during the 9-hr delivery window, it will be refused. Moral of the review if you will, if you purchase a TV (especially a large TV) online just be prepared for delays, no way to communicate with the shipper and having delivery dates set BY THEM and because there is no way to cancel, reschedule, etc. you're stuck with it. Walmart does apologize for the delays and lack of communication, kinda appreciated I guess, but this is a long known issue with Pilot...

Terrible shipping company

Terrible shipping company. Say they tried to deliver the package but it wasn't true. The site is non existent and the tracking number doesn't work. Update: after they said they "tried to deliver but i wasn't home" twice (even though I was), the package finally arrived. The courier made sure to place it in a puddle so the product (electronic) got all wet and the box arrived destroyed. The product was also broken, showing signs that it was handled very uncarefully.

I am beyond upset with the service I…

I am beyond upset with the service I received. Within two minutes of arriving, the crew claimed they could not complete the refrigerator installation because of a water valve issue. The water was shut off, yet they still refused to proceed. This was by far the most unprofessional and unskilled crew I have ever encountered.I begged them to install the fridge I purchased through Best Buy, but they didn’t care at all. They simply walked out without even letting us know they were leaving. I have never witnessed such unprofessional behavio - it was shocking.No wonder their rating is a 1 across all review platforms - they truly earn it. I am still fuming over this experience.

Delivered 85 inch tv from WalmartIt’s cracked. You guys suck big time. You didn’t care about the customer. All you care about is on time delivery. Cost me 900 bucks. But that’s alright. You be out of business soon with this kind of service

So pilot tried to deliver a item off amazon and I refused it to be sent back,have proof,no updates about delivery or even customer refusing,now I cant get my refund because of this Luckily have video of them leaving with parcel,this needs to be sorted,absolutely shocking service

Got took to the cleaners

Xpress Inc This company is ran by a lady name Olga and Reggie I was a 1099 contractor my pay check has been shorted in the sum of $400 total they contract for Ceva Logistics in Lebanon TN, and Pilot freight services in la vernge, TN . My daily rate per there agreement was $200 a day, I trainned a total of 2 days with a trainer-him driving showing me how to do my route, my training rate during that period was $150 a day. I was giving my route after this I was solo my rate was supposed to be $200 a day, saw my pay check contacted this company was told I was still in training with a solo route and no trainer Riding with me, driving daily out of the state of Tennessee on my on, Reggie mentioned do you think we're going to pay you full pay for less then 14 stops pre day this isn't in any contract I signed just a company that took me to the cleaners as a 1099 contract driver. Suggest the pilot freight services cancel there contract with Xpress Inc, now I know by pilot workers its well known Xpress Inc don't pay there driver's and people are leaving weekly, I'm Ken by the way.

God only knows why Amazon are passing…

God only knows why Amazon are passing Prime items over to Pilot. I knew parcel had been dispatched, was no update on tracking. Believed it would be delivered in 5 days time. Found they knocked on my door, drove off before I answered it seconds later. How did they know I was at home as my curtains were shut? Appears no couriers do a decent job nowadays, how would they feel if a parcel of theirs was stolen? If it wasn’t for us they wouldn’t have a job.

THEE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Shipping company EVER!

Missed your first delivery date now you’re second one today! And just received a text to schedule another 1-2 weeks out AGAIN! This company shouldn’t be allowed to be shipping anything, ANYWHERE! They can’t eve been keep a simple SCHEDULED appointment..! And not only the first one!

We paid for packaging and this company did not package so item arrived damaged

We requested for a quote to ship an item and they provided the option to package the item, (we paid for packaging) when item arrived to destination it was completely damaged, they did not even wrapped the shipment and the worst part is that we attempted to submit a claim and it was denied apparently because it was not supposed to be the receiver filling out the claim but the paying party, then paying party re-submitted the claim and they denied again stating it was not filled within 3 days (we submitted first claim on 10/11 and item was delivered on 10/9)....Our company ended up loosing a lot of money because the item was damaged, they never packaged the item even when we paid for it, in addition they still charged us for the shipping and denied our damage claims, this is the most horrible service i have EVER seen.

Slowest frieght company in US

17 days to ship from TN to NW FL. Oh, and they dont work weekends. If you have a choice of frieght companies, pick someone else.

One star was probably giving to much

One star was probably giving to much, but that is as low a rating that is allowed. Shipping was several days late. Arrived seriously damaged. When you call customer service, they give you a speech on how their rules dictate how many ways from Sunday they won't help you and it's your fault their rules dictate why they wouldn't help you even if they could.

This is by far the worst shipping…

This is by far the worst shipping company I have ever seen. I ordered a TV from Fingerhut on December 5th thinking I would get it before Christmas. Tracking it, it said it would be delivered on the 12th! Then it changed to the 20th so I’m thinking At least it will be here by Christmas. It didn’t show so I contacted them. They were apologetic and said they it probably wouldn’t get there by Christmas that it was in Atlanta. Atlanta is 90 miles away! Really? They took my E mail and said they would keep me informed about where it is this was the Dec. 21st It has a now December 29th and still no EMail or package. I called again today and waiting to hear back! Never use this company! They are trash! I don’t even claim the one star! This was suppose to be a Christmas 65” TV for the college football playoffs! I am furious 😡

Excellent Service!!

I had an above ground pool delivered with this company. And they were absolutely amazing. They called me to set up a date. And they were there just as promised. The driver was absolutely amazing and respectful. I would definitely use this company again!!

Pilot last mile / White glove Delivery …Pilot last mile / White glove Delivery appt was apparently cancelled to my home but no one communicated that to me. My husband took a day off from work to stay home to sign for and receive delivery. I Spoke to mark , Francis and Gabby the manager at last mile delivery 713 861-4224. I Asked them to please reroute a delivery truck to my house this same day since we have now missed a day of work and we do not want to take additional days off . My home is only 15 minutes from the warehouse , which is at George Bush Intercontinental Airport … I was told “no trucks are available in Your area” by Gabby the manager … but my area, is their warehouse area, again, only 15 minutes away. This is the worse customer service one can expect . I asked how we would be compensated for missing an entire day of work, but told , “ we are simply sorry”,

If I could give this company 0 stars I…

If I could give this company 0 stars I would!! Worst company to go through! Don’t keep appointment dates or times. Always run about 3 hours late. Had a replacement TV coming and this company had it for 2 weeks never being able to deliver it when they said!!! Avoid this company like the plague and the manager is a real toolbag!!! Do your research and find a different company!

Worst shipping experience ever

Worst shipping company I’ve ever seen. Paid 300 dollars in advance for shipping insurance for car parts to ship from West Virginia to Ct 2 weeks ago. I keep contacting the seller and he said pilot never got my payment for insurance but I have the proof the took the fee out of my account.So my shipment is in limbo until they get paid insurance he has gone to the shipping company and they are no help I am pretty sure I am going to be out a lot of money and not get my merchandise. Stay far away from pilot insurance

Pilot Freight followed through

Pilot Freight followed through! I was anticipating a call from Pilot F.S. to schedule delivery of interior doors this past Friday. I received a confirmation text and delivery window options to help accommodate as I am a General Contractor on the go. I called and spoke with the scheduler who was very friendly. My freight came today July 24th as promised. I was okay waiting for the shipment as they were clear the driver would contact me at some point during the day when close. The driver Braylen contacted me early afternoon and delivered the doors with a professional, helpful, and positive attitude. I was impressed and grateful for his help unloading the pallet. Doors were intact and no damage was visible. Great job Pilot!
