Supportive and helpful
Telani was a fantastic beta reader. She read through the manuscript of my fantasy novel much faster than I had anticipated, and all of her notes were thoughtful, easy to understand, and supportive.She pointed out areas in my story that would benefit from clarity, and things that might make a reader stumble. Excellent beta reader
I asked for beta readers in a facebook group, for an Epic / LGBTQ fantasy novel. Although I set no deadline and was not in a rush, she nevertheless read it quickly and wrote an excellent beta reader's report. She paid attention to character arcs, pointed out things that could have been misunderstood, and also made a point of mentioning how a dyslexic reader may struggle and where, which was very useful. The whole feedback was very clear and, while I decided to decline a couple of her (many) suggestions (for the sake of authorial / artistic intent), all of her suggestions were useful, and I ended up acting on many of them.

Brilliant
A great experience. I was initially cautious of handing my dog training manuscript over to anyone else. I have a particular conversation style of writing, which I wanted to maintain. Terani was brilliant - making suggestions, reordering some sections to give a better flow, but without losing my voice/personality. Nothing was too much trouble, even the late changes I wanted to make.

Outstanding Experience with Precise Syntax
I recently worked with Telani Lasoleille to proofread two urban fantasy book drafts that I’d written. Telani was responsive, comprehensive, and took the time to explain how some of the rules I’d learned in English classes as a middle school and high school student have evolved in the years since. She had the first round of proofreading finished quickly, and sent it back for my acceptance. Telani pointed out some inconsistencies in my storyline which I’d missed, and suggested possible remedies. She was very supportive, and gave clear suggestions for me to consider. Telani was always prompt in responding to communications, and thorough in following up. I will use her proofreading services again for my third book. I soundly recommend her for any proofreading projects you have.
