Be careful of these rogues
Be careful of these rogues, they charge you high fees plus VAT!Read this clause in their Terms and Conditions deliberately disguised in their very small print. Clause 10.1 says:10.1 Our fees: If you are due a Refund, we will charge you a fee that is the greater of:(a) 40% (plus VAT) (which is 48% at the current rate of VAT) of your Refund; or(b) £35 (plus VAT), which is £42 at the current rate of VAT.However If you are not due a Refund, "we will not charge a fee for the Services."...but if you do get a refund 'we will take half of it!'That's good of them since it is a 'no win no fee basis'.You can do it yourself. Just write to the H.M.R.C. with the approximate dates of your P.P.I. claim, the approximate amount you received. If they owe you a refund they have a duty to tell you the truth and make the refund payment to you. Crucially,you won't have to pay VAT which is tax which goes back to the government. That makes no sense.
