Richards Old Movies is fantastic. He does such a great job in communicating and getting the movies that I ordered. Also, if there are any errors in any of the movies months after ordering, he informs me and lets me upload the corrected one. Great collection - no where else found. I have been buying movies for 2 years, have bought 107 collections.
The communication was great, the product was as advertised, and when I noticed one of the movies was a bad copy a replacement was sent to me.I will buy movies from Richards Old Movies again.
I've sent several hundred dollars of orders with him and have been more than satisfied. He is responsive to problems. Sometimes, he could think about things he includes in his emails a little better. Overall, I have enjoyed dealing with him. Will deal with again.

I sent 2 requests to cancel my order before today, but they still shipped it out. Phone call with them was not very helpful either, like they were saying “sucks for you” when they said they were sorry. I advise anyone thinking about purchasing from this website to think long and hard about if they really want get anything from this website, because it could possibly be a pirating site and a scam.
I ordered $100 worth of movies (2nd order). The post office said it had been delivered but I hadn't received it. He sent it to my billing addy vs my shipping (again, the 1st order was fine). When I send a (one-liner) email to inquire , the below rant is what he sent. I think they guy is spending too much time alone."i read your email and did not like the tone of your demand. You state that your package was not delivered. That is simply not true. Your package was delivered per the post offices records and you did not receive it. The post office might have delivered it to the wrong address(this happens all the time) did you contact them to find out ? NO. You could have contacted your local post office and they would have gone out with the carrier to verify where it was delivered to and if it was the wrong address they would have retrieved the package and brought it to you. If it was not your house they brought it to, you could have filed a claim with the post office (the carrier). If they delivered it to your door and someone stole it from your front door you could have filed a claim with your insurance carrier. You choose to do none of this except blame me and demand that I be responsible for either the post office's negligence or your negligence. I am the only one not responsible. My liability ended when I gave the package to the post office. The post office's liability ended when they put at your front door. You as the homeowner are responsible for what happen on your property. So, if your package was stolen you should have called the police and your insurance carrier. Instead you demanded that I replace it or refund your money. I am telling you for the first and last time. If you want my help with something ask for it. Don't demand it. I am not your servant. I am just a store owner that you purchased from. And I don't like to be spoken to in that manner. I decided to send you the movies this one time. Next time this will not happen period. And if you speak to me like this again you will not be allowed onto my website again. I am sorry if you don't like my tone but now you know how I felt. I did nothing wrong and to be treated like a servant is unacceptable."Geez...
Wow! if Richards doesn't have it, it can't be found! it's now my go to for old movies for sure.Super fast delivery, great communication, and the prices can't be beat!highly recommend!
First of all, everything Richard provides is excellent. No brag, just fact. His selection is HUGE, and has many movies that you just can't find anymore. His shipping is quick, and his prices are bargains. I buy the DVD format. Each DVD has been flawless, and comes in its own hard plastic case. Picture quality is exceptional, especially considering the age of many of the movies. I have submitted several orders, and have never been disappointed. If you like old movies, you'll be most appreciative for even being able to FIND these priceless films. Buy from Richard, and you'll go to him first when you want to buy more.
I had to come here to write a review because before I'm ever buying from any possibly.... "sketchy - looking" websites - I am always hesitant. The few reviews in here helped me take the chance, so I wanted to contribute now that I've been a customer!I have been on the hunt for movies of The Ritz Brothers for a long time and since most of them are not available in physical form, I decided to see if there was anywhere where I could at least find the digital copies and watch them! (Most are not even streaming anywhere). So I took a chance and ordered from Richard and I am SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS SITE. The customer service was quick and easy, and the prices are truly unbeatable. I went with the email delivery option and it was a very easy process with guidance the whole way. Very highly recommend <3
I am very happy with my experience with RICHARD'S OLD FILMS, and i will buy from them again and again!! I ordered The Ronald Colman Collection, and I have enjoyed all of the dvds immensely plus seeing films of Mr Colman's that i have never seen ! Richard is lovely to talk with , too, and I will recommend highly his company in the future!!
I've been purchasing dvd's from this site since it was launched..I haven't experienced anything negative..Fast shipping and the site is exceptionally safe through PayPal. If you love old classic films from the 1920's through 1960's..this is the place to buy a copy of the old stuff..I've never expected to receive any new updated versions..just the old films ..I've been 100% satisfied with every order..
