They were unprofessional and dishonest

They were unprofessional and dishonest. They move your furniture and take it to a NJ storage, then charge you extra to hire someone to deliver it. They are 3rd party. Horrible business.

Worst service ever received, unprofessional

It is the worst service ever received by any Movers and packers. Whatever commitments have been shared during initial discussions were proved false.Manager Ravinder and I forgot the name of the person I spoke to. He called himself the owner of this M&P and said the people who made all these fake commitments and then damaged my furniture. They have damaged my furniture and didn't cover them as discussed before booking. They even showed attitude when I reported issues I faced, and they tried to blame all their mistakes on me, saying it was all my fault. They didn't cover my furniture as promised due to intercity movement. So, as per this M&P, if it is an intercity movement, then they won't take care of the customer's stuff carefully.Don't go with their words, and I would say don't prefer them at all if you want your furniture to move safely. They charged high, saying their service is much better as compared to other providers, but it is all fake.Check all reviews before going for this option. I have seen many others who have faced these issues.I just noticed that they are deleting all the real and customer-facing issue-related reviews to showcase themselves as good for the customers.I would say don't trust them and their words. They will call you regarding your concerns raised and then try giving useless excuses and simply go away without resolving it.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.The day of the contracted move 2 individuals pulled up in front of the house and immediately tried topresent us with a new quote $18,000 (yes eighteen thousand) more than our agreed upon contract. Wespent 2 hours arguing with them trying to SCAM more money. They eventually load 1/3 of a 26 foot Ryder truck and then told us they were done. However less thanhalf of the contracted items were loaded into the truck. “Too heavy, Too Big, Too Hot, don’t havespace” you name it and Hamed and his co-mover tried to use it as an excuse.Five days prior to the move my wife did a item by item verification with a support person named Greg,so Ryder Relocations knew exactly how many boxes and what pieces of furniture they were going tomove. Then the day of they try and upsell. Now while the 2 workers were moving what minimal items they did move, damage was caused in myhouse, gouges, dents, scrapes, and large holes put into the walls. The individuals were hurried, not incontrol of the loads they were moving and careless. At this point Hamed kept trying to get anyone tosign that they were done (daughter, son, sister-in-law). I wrote up a handwritten letter documenting thedamage caused by the movers and had them sign it.It gets better. Now they want another $1500 for delivery, kept claiming they called my wife the daybefore and informed her of the upcharge, well no iPhone log of this, yet another SCAM.When I contacted their office to inform them of the damage the movers had caused, I was accused ofbeing the one that damaged my home, that they cannot accept handwritten documents, ( well it’smoving day, printer and computer are packed what do you want).Customer service on the phone calls were extremely rude, and evasive. Please Don’t Use These People.

DON'T USE. SCAM

I wish I could give 0 stars. First they said our move would be $6300 then on arrival they said it was $20,000! Second, I told them multiple times I could only pay with credit card and they assured me it was ok. They showed up and made me pay with a check that I had to post date. They agreed to it but have been telling me they won't unload until cashed. Third, they assured me all my stuff would fit in their van which was the smallest moving van I have ever seen. I have been moving with the Navy for years and have never gotten anything smaller then a semi. Shockingly, it did not fit so they had to come back a different day to finish. Fourth, they didn't finish the job! they didn't pack the whole kitchen, 4 bathrooms, random garden statues, mirrors, a giant mattress pad, and an entire closet wasn't packed. They told me they ran out of boxes and wouldn't get more and left. My house was closing in 2 days, I had to hire a separate company to move my boxes across company when this scam company was already charging me $14,000 over their quote! I told them I had an ENTIRE house to pack and they still showed up with a small truck and were shocked that I didn't pack.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY !

Once you are done with a very nice person on the phone who makes promises and gives your guarantees, it goes to hell from there. ZERO respect for your things.NO knowledge of how to pack anything... just thrown into boxes with no packing but your own items. No organization of things, just whatever loads the box. Broken glass. Broken table legs scratched surfaces broken dishes. Packers hired off the street. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF OUR 8 MOVES IN OUR LIFE. Better yet, your price triples from the estimate given in order for you to get your things. This company was kicked out of Florida by Attorney General and I am striving for the same thing in my report to N J Attorney General. You are better off hiring neighbor kids and a Uhaul. * A V O I D OR B E V E R Y S O R R Y *

I had a catastrophic nervous breakdown…

I had a catastrophic nervous breakdown due to this scam company. They lied about everything, luring me with a low estimate and demanding a hefty cash deposit upfront. On the day of the move, they shockingly inflated the price, effectively extorting me to pay double or forfeit my deposit. They manhandled my irreplaceable priceless belongings as if they were trash, demanded a $100 tip per person to move simple items They called me a week later coercing me to pay triple the initial quote using and took my possessions hostage until I paid triple the amount. The delivery was outrageously delayed which felt like forever. When I unpacked my belongings, I was filled with horror, and I broke down crying as many items were damaged broken or stolen. This was the king of scams. They offered me pennies for every dollar in damages with their claims department, it was a nightmarish ordeal, unparalleled in its atrocity, pushing me to the brink and forcing me to resort to therapy to manage the overwhelming stress.

I had the worst experience with Ryder…

I had the worst experience with Ryder relocations. It is a total SCAM!! I am so mad at myself for not reading these reviews. They start off being really nice and what seems to be really cost-effective. I spoke to them many times and explained that I had a fully furnished three bedroom house and we went through each piece of furniture. I was quoted at about $3000. When they arrived, the movers were absolutely shocked because they said they were expecting a studio apartment. The quote tripled in price and was now $10,000. I was absolutely transparent from the beginning so I have no idea how there could be a $7000 difference. I try to reason with them, but they didn’t care. Unfortunately, people were moving in the next day, so I had to have my stuff out. So I had to somehow scrounge up an extra $7000 in cash because that is all they will take. They also lie to you about the delivery date. We had a delivery date all set and made arrangements with work to be there, but then that all changed and they basically said it will get there when it gets there. We hadn’t heard anything from them, so we finally called them and they said they were coming the next day, so they gave us less than 16 hours notice. We had to scramble to figure out how we could balance our work schedules with this delivery. It was all around a horrible experience. I really do hope people read these reviews so they don’t make the same mistake. I did.

If I could give O stars I would!!!

If I could give O stars I would!!!! Be so careful. This company is a FRAUD!!!! Do not waste your time, money, and patience. I have a log of our entire encounter with them. From not picking up when they said they would, to charging us $3000 more at pickup, to coming 2 weeks later than expected leaving us a month without our items, to not calling before delivery, to dropping them off outside our apartment complex- yes, complex NOT apartment (for them to get stolen and us to lug furniture and boxes across the complex), breaking/ruining some of our items, and delivering furniture (yes, other people’s furniture to us) not ours. We tried calling them about the furniture that was NOT ours and they said to email them pictures, we did, and no response. Then, I called them 2 weeks from sending the email: their response: “management will get back with me.” I asked “ Do you have a timeframe for when this would be?” Response: “no ma’am, they are still processing it”. Which means the poor person will NEVER see that stuff again. Literally the biggest scam company of the century.

Long distance move

The pricing was an absolute lie! The portion of the truck that was sold to us wouldn't have even held what was written in the contract. On the day of drop off we were told 9 a.m -11 for the window. They didn't show up and WE card to check the status. We were told " No we said 2-5 p.m" Again we had to call once they did not show! Horrible customer service. Please do not use this company. They never offered any real solution for the inconvenience or lack of communication.

Pay Triple your Quote

This company will lie about everything and then rob you blind. This company is dishonest and will hold your stuff hostage until you pay triple your quote. They will leave you feeling scam, violated, angry and disappointed. They ripped off Ryder Systems and should be sued for Copyright.

If you need or want to hire your own…

If you need or want to hire your own movers,DO NOT use Ryder Relocation or primeline moving. ( they contract together ) They quoted us one price and it was for the smallest size of each item ( which we weren’t told until after the movers left the house with our things ) we had in our house, got to our house and told us it would be another 3K to take the rest of our items with them and we couldn’t afford it nor could they do anything about the fact that they quoted us wrong which had us leaving literally half our house on the curb for bulk day and taking the U-Haul we could afford cross country. Fast forward to today and the movers got here again with half our things…conveniently forgot weight loss tickets we requested and this time they lost or gave to customers before us accidentally. All of which were very expensive ( and probably broken ) smoker, dresser with all my husbands clothes, part of our couch, half a trampoline, boxes of kids clothes, Air Force mementos, half a box spring, coffee table..Exc Update 7/5It’s been a week and no one’s answered the phone Hopefully this helps someone.

Ryder Relocations has been an absolute…

Ryder Relocations has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Despite initially quoting me around 2.6K for my move, the final cost skyrocketed to over 4.9K due to constant misrepresentations and hidden fees. They assured me of a 20-foot box truck only to switch to a semi-truck last minute, slapping me with an additional $400 charge just to deliver to my apartment. Attempts to address these issues with their customer service were futile—they showed no concern for their blatant dishonesty. To top it off, a significant portion of my belongings arrived damaged, and their claim payout for my losses was insultingly low. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Ryder Relocations at all costs!

Horrible Experience

Horrible Experience – I would give 0 stars if i could. I had a terrible experience with Ryder Relocation. They increased the price multiple times after I booked, delayed both pick-up and delivery far beyond the promised window, and never communicated about the delays. My items still haven't arrived, and they won't disclose the whereabouts of my belongings. This company is unprofessional and unreliable, borderline theft and fraud at this point.

John J Williams senior sales…

John J Williams senior sales representative of Ryder Relocation robbed us. We are going from Connecticut to Florida. We gave John J Williams a detailed list of what we had not once but twice. He gave us a price around $2300. He paid the deposit. They sent us a email to confirm what they were picking up and we told them nothing changed. They showed up and the head guy has a sheet and started to add charges. John J Williams said what we had was 301 cubic feet. The head guy said you have a lot more than that and it looks like an extra $4000 or more. They didn’t take the stuff and I left. But this is how they rob you.

This company is dishonest and…

This company is dishonest and unprofessional. I called and spoke to the first customer service representative, Christina. She asked me to describe all the items in my 2 bedroom apartment. After going through the list, a quote was given $3600 to move from Texas to California on May 12th, 2024. I paid the 1399.79 deposit and was told to pay the total of $991.40 at pick up and the remaining delivery with zelle or cash or an ups money order. I had several customer service representatives call to confirm the pick-up date, which changed from Friday the 10th of May and changed again to the 11th, not my original date booked on May 12th. I had several calls from Ben, the driver wanting to move the date of my move to an earlier date, which I found annoying. On the 11th of may received another call all being from a 3rd party to go over inventory The day before the movers were scheduled for pickup which was the 11th or 12th due to the frequency of the changes made by the drivers. The representative asked to do the video of my item on WhatsApp. After the video of my items. The quote went from $3600 to $7000. I was shocked. Debbie from the 3rd party asked if the first rep Christina did the video of my items prior to the quote given. She did not nor gave me an option. Debbie indicated the items weren't accurate, and they go by cubic square feet, which was never mentioned during my initial conversation with Christina. I decided to cancel immediately by email and called customer service and spoke to Sam, the customer service manager, who was very rude and unprofessional. She indicated I would not get my deposit back because I signed the bill lading agreement. The agreement was signed based on the quote given for $3600, not $7000 due to the misinformation given by the first representative, Christina. I will fight for my deposit and will never EVER use this company. What a scam and unprofessional. I would hate for someone else to have to go through this at the last minute of their move. I am now renting a truck, and we are driving to California ourselves. This company needs to be investigated or shut down completely. After my situation, I read their reviews OMG. I wish I had read the reviews prior to dealing with this horrible moving company. PLEASE STOP THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Scammy Company Ever

This was possibly the worst, and most expensive experience my husband and I have ever had.First and foremost, all these good reviews are absolute lies. Ryder is a broker (which we weren't told) they do not to the delivers, and that truck you see in the reviews is just for show. So lets get down to the nitty gritty here.I called 2/16/2024 as I was looking for a moving company to move from Texas to Virgina. I spoke to a Chris on the phone. He quoted me $2849.74 for 484 (3388lbs) of space, in total 58 items. In those 58 items were 4 large 6ftx3ft desks, a queen bed, 3 65 inch tvs, dressers, end tables, bookshelf, coffee and end tables, and a washer and dryer (this is important for later). I thought that was a great quote, one, because my husband and I were on a budget, he is a disabled veteran and we are on a budget, and Ryder VERY WELL KNEW THIS. We've been through PCS moves, but never one on our own. When they book, they tell us 5 days out we will do "Quality Assurance" to ensure that if there were revisions to the list we could adjust them, fair enough.I start reading the reviews and I freak out, so I do message them and let them know I want to go through my updated list. When I say we purged everything big, WE PURGED EVERYTHING BIG. I explained I was worried because of their reviews, and they gaslit, you can see the response from them I posted.Quality assurance calls me and we requote for 81 pieces. Now, remember the big stuff I stated before? That's important. We removed EVERYTHING, when I say everything we threw away the desks, sold the TVs/washer and dryer, our dressers, everything listed above, because we had more boxes than anticipated, so I figured that it would even out, and I might owe maybe an extra $500, wrong. They requoted me for $3200, I thought it was fair enough, until I saw the quoted volume: 437 cf(3059lbs). I questioned the Quality person on why my rate went up 400$, but now I have less volume, They stated "Because you have MORE stuff, we need a bigger truck and the price went up", well if that was the case, then the volume should have went up right? No, they guy on the phone said "that's just what my computer said" and when I told him I will not accept that requote and will wait for the day, he got huffy and hung up.The day arrives and the requote starts. The moving company Moving mania Arrives (not ryder, surprise) and they requote us at 81 items, 769CF (5383lbs) nearly double the volume, and what was the final total almost $1k more than expected. Now for the most part the woman from Moving Mania understood, and did work with us, which I was thankful for.So lets get to the delivery. So Ryder brokered our stuff to Moving Mania, well Moving Mania apparently couldn't make the delivery so our stuff got brokered out again! To Aegis Moving And Storage. I had to fight to get updates on my stuff (luckily I did put an apple airtag in there, so I saw where my stuff was at all times.) So the day comes and they are supposed to arrive at 9am, I text, and I get a call immediately. The truck rolled. You read that correctly, the truck moving our stuff rolled. I first ask if the driver and passenger were okay (thank goodness they were) and I stress to Frank the owner to not have them rush and take their time to get to usIn numerous texts I received I was assured my stuff was okay, nothing broke, "wow you did such a good packing job", and the load arrives. It was loaded, horrific (see the photo) many of our stuff wasn't in good shape, and after reading the reviews from the company that did the final delivery, it was clear that if I were to go through insurance I might be blocked, so thankfully the owner of Aegis did meet me in the middle, and he gave me a discount on final delivery, so we still ate thousands of dollars in damages, but I just wanted it over with. DO NOT USE RYDER. They want your deposit, they want to under quote you, and they want to SCAM YOU.

Horrible: Rude, broken and missing items

Firstly, I called to confirm pickup at 9am morning of. They said yes 9 am. Next thing I know it is 5:30pm when they show up. They never updated me with new times unless I called to see what was happening. Upon pickup they charged me and extra $2,200 than quoted even when I left out items. Those Items I left out the 2 moving people from Gin & Lou (yes they use a third party) TOOK those items for themselves...After they had my items they would not give me any updates on timing or even where my items were. The customer service was extremely rude upon me inquiring where my items may be. They were also very rude when I told them some items were missing. They also delivered my items at 7pm and weren't done till 9:30pm. They were not willing to help me and guide me on how to submit a claim. Once I finally figure out how to submit a claim due to a missing item that claim was denied because it "wasn't on the itemize list as picture box (just "box"). Would NOT recommend to anyone unless you like rude customer service, broken personal items, and missing boxes.

My wife and I went with them because of…

My wife and I went with them because of their quote. However they brought a panel truck to move a 3 bedroom 3 bath split level. We were told a semi was being used. They ended up putting our items in storage so the hired movers could do 2 more trips. Total cost over 5 times initial price. About 2 weeks later another moving company brought some of our stuff. We have a power washer, air compressor, electric chain saw with 100 feet of cord, a circular saw, an expensive battery charger, a cooler and several boxes never received. Some of our furniture was either destroyed or badly damaged. Also some extremely well packed items were destroyed. They went thru our boxes and helped themselves.Do not be fooled. The truck with their name is a prop. We found out they are brokers not the movers.

I would never use this company again, nor recommend them

I would never use this company again. Items missing from the move, furniture damage, and foreman on the job was impossible to deal with. His impression of women was very low.
