If I could give it zero stars I would. They played in our faces bad this year with taxes. Let be real, we ALL have bank accounts now, we ONLY used the credit karma card because it said we could get it 5 days early. They are holding our money until the day of that is listed on our where’s my refund page. They are blaming the irs saying they didn’t send the info early but we ALL KNOW THEY ARE LYING BECAUSE LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE OTHER BANK IS RELEASING THEM EARLY. They have lost thousands of customers over this. I will NEVER use them again for my taxes and I have seen thousands and thousands of other people saying that in comments on Facebook and Reddit too.

Terrible "service" . No clear answers. Claim my bank denied a deposit that my bank doesn't confirm. Sent 2 checks and cannot tell me anything other than that. One check received and the larger one just..missing? Didn't even use them for my refund I'm not sure why I'm dealing with them at all. Absolutely disgusted with their customer service and whatever they apparently do here. Will never use them or freetaxusa ever again and will advocate for others to never do so. Terrible, terrible company.

Supposed to have a DDD on the 27th to my bank for my state return. They have had my money since the 27th and have NOT sent it as of yet. Absolutely disgusting to hold someone's money AFTER fees have already been taken out of the federal return. State even confirmed refund has been issued. Absolutely horrible. Never had this issue before and I will more than likely NOT be using them again next tax season. This is absolutely unacceptable!

Holding people's refunds hostage to make as much interest as they can..I know next year they will lose a shit ton of money so many are pissed off they won't be having fees taken out or paying for an advance just for these pos's to hold it to day of.

Holding refunds until the last possible second. They have had my tax refund since 1/20 and immediately took their fees and advance. 1/24 and still want to argue that they have not received my refund. IRS and TurboTax both confirm that this is not true

They absolutely hold your money to earn on it. IRS updates Friday morning to an 846 you get the money take out your cash hold it all weekend only showing you took your loan back. Monday you'll drag your feet again and if I'm lucky by close of business you'll show funded and turbo tax fees taken out. Then for your final trick Tuesday at ass crack close of business you'll send my refund to my bank at 5:30 at night when my banks closed so I can maybe just maybe get it the next night. Scumbags.

If I could give less than one star I would. SBTPG has had my tax refund money since the 19th because it says that my refund advance was paid on the 19th, but they still haven't sent anything to my credit karma account. I will never use another tax service who uses them and im going to try my best to sue them.

They hold your refund until the exact date.
They hold funds and Instead of just releasing them to your bank, they dont release the funds until the exact date your taxes gave you. Regardless of how long they had the funds they will send it for a future date so even if you have banks like cash app you will never receive it early. They also release the funds late in the afternoon so you will probably get your tax refund a day later. This is all by choice and practice. This is one of the only groups that will do this 👍 dont go here
