I went on the Signature DC night tour and honestly it was solid. Our driver Chris kept the ride smooth and on time, and our guide Tyrone really made it — dude knows everything about the city and breaks it down in a way that’s funny but still deep. We hit all the big monuments lit up at night, had enough time to walk around and take pics, and the bus was comfortable the whole way.
We booked a tour of Capitol and Library of Congress. We didn't see most things promised in the Capitol. We got to the tunnel between two places too late. We didn't see Library of Congress because it was closed. Literally nothing was delivered. The tour guide said he worked in DC - so was surprising that he didn't know when things close.
The "Monuments by Morning" (3 hour) tour was a great introduction to Washington DC's famous sites. I booked this tour for myself and my family for our first trip to DC. We were able to see many different monuments on and off the bus, and the tour guide provided great commentary and explanations.(It was about 95 degrees out during our tour so we really enjoyed the comfortable, air-conditioned bus and the ice cold water that was provided.)
I booked a tour thru Viator w this tour company for a tour in December. I canceled the tour under the impression I was getting a full refund. When I found out I was not getting refunded I tried getting back in this tour and Viator told me I would have to pay them again to do so. So I did not rebook nor did I take this tour. I have been trying to get a refund for two months. Viator said I had to go thru the tour company directly. I sent 5 emails.. after the 5th one I received a reply they would get back to me at the end of the week. That was over a week ago. I sent another email yesterday asking what is going on. No reply. I can see why this tour company works w Viator. This company’s customer service is as horrible as Viator
