Do not recommend

Let’s get one thing straight. I rarely write bad reviews. I am polite and kind even when I get poor service. I understand things happen and realize I am not the only person on this earth. With that being said, I ordered close to $400 worth of covers in November. It is now almost middle of MARCH and all I have gotten are excuses and apologies for why my items have not been shipped. There is no one you can speak to and all communication is done all my email. I now have been waiting for a full refund for almost 2 weeks. I DO NOT recommend this company. I can express how disappointed I am because I was really hoping to protect my then, new couch.

Terrible shipping SLOW!

2nd time ordering and 2nd time getting no communication on the fact that my order is on back order. Paid extra this time to get my shipment FAST. Yet….. nothing. Crazy how they can’t get it together! Maybe get things in stock before you sell them. Last time I cancelled after 2 months of waiting. Was hoping this time would be different, but apparently this is a common practice . Great product terrible customer service and SNAIL shipping.

Worse Experience Ever.

Worse Experience Ever.My first order of sofa covers arrived without issue, so I trusted the company enough to order different sizes in November. That was a mistake. The second order never arrived.When I asked to cancel and get a refund, I was met with nothing but copy‑and‑paste emails saying they were “so sorry” and would “check on the status.” Weeks later, I’m still getting the same scripted replies and still no refund.I’ve since purchased covers from another company and couldn’t be happier. I will never buy from Soothing Home again. I’m still waiting for the refund they keep promising to “look into.”

Soothing Home is a joke.

Soothing Home couch covers are great. However, whoever is running the office is extremely ill equipped. They responded to only one of my emails but then lied to me. They said my order was on the way. That was 2 weeks ago. I placed my order in early November because I had company coming for the holidays. I still haven’t received my order. They don’t answer the phone. I will absolutely NEVER do business with Soothing Home again. Soothing? It’s more like FRUSTRATING! 👎

I love love love my new covers

I love love love my new covers. Matter of fact, this is my third order and I’m waiting for it to come because I bought some for my granddaughter. Also bought an extra set when I’m cleaning one. Thank you. I’m sure I’ll be doing business with you again.

The covers fit perfectly and look wonderful! They stay in place even with the dog jumping on and off constantly.

Ordering was easy. Received my couch covers in about a week. They look nice and fit great.I wish Soothing Home made recliner covers in a matching color. (Metal grey)

I ordered the product December 25

I ordered the product December 25. It’s now February 10 and I still have not received it. I contacted this terrible company and they told me I needed it to be patient.A snowstorm that delayed delivery well I’ve been patient they told me that a month ago. It still hasn’t arrived and I tried to call them. You can’t call them. They tell you to email them on the telephone. I can’t even get my money back I can’t contact anyone. I don’t know what to do so I called my credit card company and they’re gonna get my money back. Thank you, God.

Would have liked a tag inside stating…

Would have liked a tag inside stating where the front and back are on these. It would make it easier to place on the sofas. With that said they are working great. With the dog hair on them instead of on the sofas or towels (That I used previously), they are working great. The next step to see how they hold up when washed.

Shady business practices

I placed an order for sofa covers in November 2025. Today is February 4, 2026, and I'm still waiting for my delivery!Someone called "Rowena" has responded to my inquiries, as they were out of stock in the color I ordered. That was last November."Rowena" still tells me she's waiting on a response from their fulfillment team. I think the team is full of shit! My credit was charged right away when I ordered these covers.Dealing with Soothing Home has been a horrible experience, and I don't recommend purchasing anything on their website unless you just want to donate money to a shady business.

Never received covers

Ordered Dec 1. My covers still have not shipped and it is Feb 4th I have emailed 15 times. They keep making excuse after excuse. I have now opened a case with PayPal.

Completely Unhappy still haven't received ordered product and getting the run around

I placed my order in December. I have still not received it. I have asked multiple times about where my order is and I keep being told it will be here in a week. It is still not here. I finally asked for a full refund. They told me they can't do that because the product has shipped. That once I receive it I can send it back for a full refund.

I ordered over a month ago and have yet to receive my order. No one answers when you call their toll free number and you are redirected to email them. When I email, the only response is that they will look into the status of my order and then ghost mode. Do not purchase here!

I absolutely love my couch covers. I was so pleased with them I told my two daughters to order them as well. I can’t wait to order more in a different color.

Excuses and poor customer service

Ordered covers for my sectional in the brown/chocolate covers at a price of 215.00 total. placed the order on 31 October 2025 with a expected delivery of 15-20 days. On 11/26/2025 I had not received the covers and checked again on the status and I got this response: Hi Clifford, Thank you so much for reaching out — and I totally understand the excitement (and the impatience) of waiting for something you picked out for your home. I took a moment to personally look up your order for you. It turns out the exact color/style you chose ended up in a temporary stock delay on our side. It’s actually one of our most requested options right now, so a small group of customers who ordered around the same time as you are all waiting for the same restock batch. What matters most is this: your order is already secured in that upcoming stock, and your piece is reserved with your name on it. We’re expecting the new stock to arrive in about 15–20 days, and as soon as it lands at our warehouse, your order will be one of the first to go out. Excessive long wait time!

Excessive long wait time and still waiting. I placed my order at the end of November. It's already February and I'm still waiting with no resolution. I can't get anyone to help me or call me back. The company should not charge until they ship out your order but they took my money immediately over $300. I have no refund and no covers. Need to have better communication. Don't give customers false expectations of shorter shipping times. Or you need to refund the money if you can't send out the product

This is my second set of covers

This is my second set of covers. Color is true to web site. And match size and color of underlying furniture. They wash well biggest challenge is determining which is base and which is top as info tags fade.

MIXED REVIEW…

This is a mixed review and I’ll explain why. For the product itself, they rate a big 5! My sectional is tan and the tan covers are nearly a perfect match and it looks fabulous! BUT I placed my order on 10-23-25 with a stated delivery window of 3-5 days which should have been a no-brainer to have them to refresh my couch for our holiday celebrations, but they just arrived in January, so delivery is a #1!

Delayed shipment 0 communication

I ordered covers for my sectional sofa on Thanksgiving. I received an email stating my order was processed and I should expect the product in 3-5 business days the next day. On December 9, I emailed Soothing Home because I still had to received tracking information and the website said my order was still processing. I received a generic email the next day stating they would look into my order and respond back to me right away. I emailed again in December 11 inquiring about my order and asked for an update or my tracking information by the next day.I never received a response so I initiated a chargeback (dispute with my credit card company (who immediately issued a conditional refund).As of January 3, I had not heard back from the company regarding my inquiry and neither had my credit card company. However, my order was randomly delivered on January 13. I still never received an email back from Soothing Home regarding my inquiry. I feel they only sent my order because I had begun the chargeback process and they only had until January 22 to respond to my credit card company.The product fits well and looks nice and I’m not a jerk so I withdrew the chargeback with my credit card company.The look and feel is the same as the set I ordered from Amazon when my order didn’t arrive. The Amazon covers were slightly cheap and I received them in 2 days.Don’t order from Soothing Home unless you don’t want your purchase for 2 months or are willing to dispute a charge in your credit card to force Soothing Home to ship your products.
