We were highly dissappointed when after 3 months our rent went from $44.00 to $115. From one month to the next without warning or notification. We had moved in to this unit because our rent skyrocketed at the place we were in, so I was very inquisitive starting at our first telephone call, as to when our rent would go up here. It was a very secretive under the breath "I don't know". I asked a ton of questions because I didn't want this to happen to me again. It did. We left. I rented a unit for $40 A month for 8 years and they never raised the rent, not once, but I moved and took my storage unit with me. I always pay my rent on time. I was shocked and disgusted at the greed, and the place has steps to boot!

This self storage company is the worst! Trust me; stay away. The owner obviously needs the money and I kid you not… I don’t think it will be long before they completely go under for how they treat there tenants. Furthermore, I don’t feel this is a secure storage space as anyone could just simply walk right after someone else and enter the facility. Also they only seem to care about inflating prices and unnecessary fees that they randomly tack on that I’m sure is just used for the owner to indulge. They just do not seem to care about your stuff, just your money. Stay away from this space if you are smart .

I called at 11:00am on 1/14 to confirm my unit was unlocked. The manager confirmed I had access, looked up account. I paid and showed up to see a red lock on my door.I drove 8 hours out of state to deal with this and discussed the move out method with the manager for that day, 1/14. He also asked me when I joined to give him a 5 star review “so he can get a raise” - I very seriously do not think James deserves it. On a separate day I showed up and the facility was reading 93 degrees. I paid for climate control so not to ruin my work supplies and this manager, James, didn’t care when I called. He clearly left out information that would have made this more smoothly, and by failing to communicate the terms and holding my property hostage, I will be as loud about this experience as to warn others not to get their things held hostage by a poorly run company.

I would give them minus five stars if that rating was available. They do not communicate. Their storage lockers are filthy and the doors difficult. There is never anyone at the actual location to help. They charge way to much money for what they offer. It's a terrible business.

My storage was in Lakeland, Florida. I moved out on November 15th. I still got charged for December. I called the Assistant Manager name Lisa. I did not realize that she was handling 3 different units. She told that she could not do the refund but told me only the DM could do it. She said she promised to get back with me by the of the day. She was so very nice. I felt sorry for her and I told her that I called a couple times before. She must have been overwhelmed. She was very professional and nice. She Thanked me for my patience.

Louisville KY. My unit was broken into within days of renting the unit. Both loading doors were broken so the access doors were propped open. The padlock that was supplied to me looked fine but one day it just wouldn't work. After the manager cut the lock off and opened the unit everything was a mess. I asked about security footage and the manager said, "Oh, we don't have cameras at this end of the building". I can't imagine a business being this horribly managed.

Absolutely the WORST experience you could possible imagine. The key codes have been broken for months so the only way to access belongings is when someone is actually onsite, which they RARELY ever are. Even when I called to schedule someone to meet me there, they did not show up on time. The district manager, who was now involved, along with my attorney) lied to me trying to say the employee was onsite when I was there and no one else was. Now, 3 weeks in to trying to remove my belongings from the facility, the employees are rude, like I am inconveniencing them in some way. The district manager now doesn't have the balls to reach back out and is ignoring text messages and phone calls. Oh did I mention, trash everywhere, inside and outside the building. Actually found feces in the hall a couple weeks ago. One entry door is boarded up, obviously after someone broke in, maybe trying to get to their belongings? Was told last week the key codes would be fixed this week. They aren't. Was told they had to find investors to pay $40,000 to fix the key code......don't even know what to say about that. If you want headaches and bullshit, this is the place for you. Otherwise, RUN, Forrest, RUN!!!!!!I just found their mission statement, "Storage that Cares" Give me a friggin break!!!!!

I rented a storage space at the King Street location in Rochester, NewYork, from October 29 to early December.We removed our items due to unscrupulous business practicesand at-risk management at the facility.1. It is in deplorable conditions; it is filthy.The elevator is dirty; the walls and floors are in the same condition.2. The place is not as advertised online.We waited over two hours to retrieve a dolly to move our things.3. On the first day of moving two storage units down,There was a guy in the storage unit asleep (snoring).At this point, we began to record such conditions,as individuals (drug addicts) were hanging out within the facility.4. No professionalism of the staff.Lisa is cantankerous, uncouth, and very poor representative of Store Space. We call this discrimination per se,When you service a particular area and have the profound audacity to believe thatall have the same mentality.Instead of speaking to one with respect and dignity.Andrea was arguing with a customer on the phone,He was upset about the duplicity as well.I removed my items to a different storage companyin addition to the above we noticed a foul odor and a marijuana smellthe sofa chairs were absorbing.Also, when calling the Sales district to inquire about a rental unitpricing, it was different from what Andrea charged my credit card,it was more like price gouging.Professionalism and transparency needs to be exemplified at all times in business, as it is a presentation of all Store Space.I did not receive the services in which I paid for.FYIThe contact us at the 833-786-7366 is a general response, there is no one in-place at that number to respond to your concerns.

When I began the process of renting my unit over the phone with (Coach Bud), I was told my unit would be on the first floor. However, The office person , William said the unit is in the basement!!! Attitude: like it or leave it!!!I never wanted a basement unit and would never agree to this but I needed the storage that day!Yesterday, while moving in we saw 3 roaches!!Just FYI for anyone renting in Northside facility Cincinnati Ohio.Also, William in the office, only nodded yes or no when I asked questions but was VERY FRIENDLY with the female on the elevator!!!!!Go figure!I’ll be calling the office tomorrow about the roach situation and the basement unit!After reading these reviews, good luck to me!!!

I rented a unit at new Brookhaven, PA location. The manager was very nice and helpful. I had the unit a little over a month when Items were taken from the locked unit. I called customer service and was told someone from management would call - No call. I submitted a claim through tenant protection - never heard anything. 12/8/23 - I provided written notice to store employee that I am terminating as of end of December. Their customer service/management is horrible.

I rented a indoor unit for 6 months while i was in between apartments i barely went to check on the unit thinking my stuff would ultimately be safe but 6months later i find out the there was a leak somewhere in the ceiling damaging 60 percent of my belongings clothes my kids pictures etc etc but most importantly my king size mattress was soaked in water smh thinking I’m insured so this should be a easy fix a month later i have yet to resolve the issue not only did they not take accountability but above all else no one even reached out to apologize this company sucks keep your money

I moved my things into storage space in albany ga on June 26 paid my prorated Rate and then had company attempt to charge my card for double the amount of rent two weeks later I after trying to see anyone ever at the storage location unsuccessfully and after attempting to contact corporate office in Florida for literally two days and getting message saying high call volume and saying they would call back when the call back came it put me back in loop telling me high volume and giving me call back option again which I did literally for two days finally I called the sales line and got someone of course immediately and finally got transferred to actual person who initially told Me that I had not let them know I moved out which I hadn't they had the wrong unit number and representative said all corrected signed up for automatic payment and thought all was well then I get notice I owe 2 months which I hadn't even been customer that amount of time so spent yet another day trying to get thru to someone and once again only after getting transferred from agent on sales line did I reach someone and they looked said they fixed the mistake again and confirmed auto bill pay and that I should only pay for one month they apologized profusely and now on the 7th thinking bill was automatically paid as was signed up to do I just received that I have a lien against my things for non payment for over 30 days this is beyond ridiculous so I guess tomorrow I have to start the herculean process of attempting to contact their office to once again have their mistake repaired and I'm sure that it will be but I'm also sure that this will be ongoing problem the agents are nice and say they straightened out the problem but I have zero confidence that this is actually the case and thankfully I have documented this at every turn so my things had better not be in any way affected by the sloppy at best system of record keeping I can not after this many incredulous billing issues recommend this company to anyone unless you have time to constantly be on hold over and over to get to person who thus far may tell you all is well and when seemingly not the case if you do decide to use this company constantly stay on top of their fraudulent billing
