Referral Fees
Has anyone had any issues on receiving the referral fees that Toyota sales employee promised? I have been waiting for almost 2 months and keep getting a run around with the same BS every time I speak to a manager.

I have been a loyal customer of Toyota of Dallas for many years, always purchasing new cars and replacing them right before the warranty expired. However, my recent experiences have been nothing short of appalling. The issues began with a salesman named Scott Bowling, who, despite having passed away, sold me three cars and promised rebates that I never received. When I approached the head of the dealership, Darren, he outright refused to address my concerns. Darren dismissed me, stating that Scott was a cheater who misled both the dealership and its customers, and they would not take responsibility for any of his actions, even though it occurred at their location. The problems didn’t stop there. I continued to service my Toyota at this location due to warranty coverage. I encountered a significant issue with my vehicle, which was under warranty. Despite acknowledging the problem with photos, they later backtracked, stating there was no issue. This happened multiple times, conveniently until my warranty expired by a few miles. Now, they demand payment for diagnostics, new shocks, and tires. This dealership appears to be trained to operate like military salespeople, telling you whatever you want to hear to secure a sale. Once you’ve bought the car, their interest in you ends. They only care about your money, not your satisfaction or the quality of service. Despite being sold a full warranty package, supposedly covering everything except fuel, I have consistently ended up paying for various services.Avoid Toyota of Dallas at all costs. If you value your money and want honest service, look elsewhere. I’ve owned five Toyotas, four from Toyota of Dallas and one from Toyota of Plano. The difference is night and day. Don’t fall into the trap at Toyota of Dallas – they’ll take your money and leave you high and dry.
My experience was great. David Martinez is an excellent seller and professional. I’m very satisfied with the seller and service. Thanks.
SOLD my car to someone else even though I paid the deposit well in advance. I am very disappointed with your salesperson and sales manager. I booked RAV4 XLE Premium Hybrid on 11th December by paying $5000 as the down payment. I was promised the car will be delivered before Christmas, however, the car arrived on 26th Dec as mentioned by sales person. I requested that I take the delivery on Thursday 29th Dec as I was busy with some religious function and Thursday being an auspicious day for us I wanted to get the car delivered on Thursday. Initially, He hesitated but later confirmed that his manager agreed to hold it till Thursday and get the paperwork completed. Sales Person was going to come to me with the paperwork today i.e 27th Dec but later said the manager is saying I can sign the paper and take the car on 29th Dec. Later in the evening instead of calling me, the sales person messaged me that the manager sold the car. I met with Sales Manager, on Thursday for a solution and all I could hear was I don't know what happened and who sold the car, we are very sorry about this, etc. He was not ready to understand and simply said he can refund my deposit rather than come to a solution.I am highly disappointed, I had made plans to travel for the weekend and the new year. All my plans are ruined now because the car I was going to have was sold by your salesperson. This is very unprofessional. I request you to kindly look into this matter seriously and provide me with a good solution. This is my first time buying a car and the Toyota of Dallas already made it miserable and unpleasant. I expect a positive and quick outcome.
Toyota is the best car manufacturer in my opinion. I wish I could buy American made but quality and reliability has plummeted, ToD will take care of you, there alright.
I've had Cecy as my service advisor since I started getting my car serviced at Toyota of Dallas and she has been AMAZING. She's great at communicating and always provides grade A service!
Worst dealership ever! I Urge people stay away! The took complete advantage of my daughter being a first time buyer. Sold her a complete lemon! And when they said they would help, they tried to get her into another car with higher payments. And after all, then asked her to please refer customers! She is left with a car that does not work but still has to make her car payment. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!
Good group of fellas. I didn't end up finding what I wanted yet but they're the ones that are gonna help when the time comes. Friendly bunch and would recommend them to anyone local, looking for a vehicle.
The deal was goiod, they went the extra mile to deliver the truck, but two days to go 1200 miles? They did not tell me that there were 3 different tire makes on the truck, kind of disappointed here, at least they could have matched the tires, failure on their part as a, number one dealership.
oyota of Dallas discriminates against women and are bullies and thieves!I bought a 2020 Lexus IS300 on Dec 3,2021. When I purchased the car it had Bridgestone tires on the car, when they delivered the car to me that afternoon at my place of employment they had taken the Bridgestone off and put on no name tires on my car. I immediately brought it to their attention, they would not respond to me for 2 day so I went to the dealership. Syed Jafir, the used car manager, told me he did not owe me anything. This made me mad so I raised my voice and he told me to lower my voice. At this point the GM, Cody Freeman, came over and told me to lower my voice and he owed me nothing and would do nothing for me. This happened because I am a female! If I were a male they would never have told me to lower my voice and they wouldn't have switched my tires to $30 no name tires. They are still refusing to fix the damage they have caused. I have left voicemails for the Managing Partner, Darren Dortch with no response. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office. It is sad to me that as a female I can not go and purchase a car with out being discriminated against and pushed around. If I were a man this would not have happened. All I want are Bridgestone tires put on the car, with the cheap tires my car it drives rough. Run away from Toyota of Dallas ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN.
Amazing service, UNTILL AFTER you buy a car. I bought my car and we had agreed that it would come with a certain accessory that would need to be ordered by them. Weeks without an update (I would call twice a week), ended with them saying that they could no longer provide the accessory. After complaining to corporate Toyota this dealership offered cash instead and I accepted but have yet to receive the cash. That was almost five months ago and now no-one will return my calls. I heavily recommend Toyota of Irving instead. Smaller dealership with less inventory, but better staff. To Toyota of Dallas, I know that you know who I am since you refuse to pick up the phone when I call. Please just pay me the money or provide the accessory so that this can be over.-David C. Bought a 2021 4Runner on August 10th
Shady, unprofessional and you lost a long time customer. Clearly, T.O.D. does not like cash paying customers. When it became clear that I was paying cash, you could immediately see the shift in interest in working with me; from enthusiastic to leaving me sitting alone for 20 min at a showroom table…When the sales manager came out instead of my original sales rep, I asked about the price of another 4Runner, he wouldn’t answer, instead asked how much I wanted to spend.. Used the ole “vehicle I originally enquired about was gone” . “Ah man, sorry..it sold last night”. Sales manager left me an email, lol while I was in the parking lot, talking the car up. Even a video obviously shot on another day. They didn’t know I was sitting right there waiting for them, then ding, I get this email. Long story, 4Runner advertised on car gurus was never available. I caught them in this lie and can prove it. So, the Unclear pricing, lack of transparency is an issue. Ask about the price of a car on the used lot and you’ll get a lesson on why people dread car dealerships. I just have too many specifics to list. Unfortunately, Toyota makes the best cars but has some of the worst dealerships. TOD is the worst I’ve dealt with.
Toyota - manage your dreamIt's my love!
I was and I am a happy owner of 2 toyotas. First is 1999 Corolla and second is 2007 Tundra. Toyota is the best car ever. Long term standing, very reliable. I also had Chevrolet which is total disaster. Chevrolet is the same bad thing as Dodge. Just by the way of comparison Toyota is the best.Apart from good cars, Toyota shows real respect to it's customers. When I had a question, I called Toyota and wrote them email. The response was very quick and prompt. Again, unlike Chevrolet. When I owned Chevrolet, dealer and manufacturer representative yelled at me over the phone.I do recommend Toyota to everyone.
Good service for the cars
Good customer service, very happy with my new car !!
These guys went the extra mile to get the part I needed, which was a nice surprise as I had driven all over to try to find it.
The salesman there did me right. I appreciate you all for helping me choose out a car for my nephew.
Bought a new SUV. Negotiation and service was the best I've had in more than a decade. Love Toyota quality for the money.
Walked in knowing I wanted a Camry and had a no hassle buying experience. They were a little slow because of social distancing etiquette so it is understandable. I recommend them.
