They sold us bus tickets for a bus that did not exist. Now, they don’t want to refund us… Just don’t buy anything from them, it is way better to buy the tickets at the bus station

Tickets not accepted in bus - spare yourself the experience
Bought Tickets from Shkodra to Durres, the bus driver seemed really sorry when he said he could not accept them as he had never gotten any money from Gjirafa for the tickets. Like it has already been said, use for departure times but I would not recommend buying tickets. No response from the company, obviously, when I wrote to them.

Bought tickets are not valid
We booked a bus with gjirafa in Albania. There was no company at the terminal and the only bus going to our destination didn't accept the online ticket we purchased.Contacting gjirafa didn't help at all: the fault was given to me without taking any responsibility.The platform is good for knowing time schedules, but don't recommend purchasing tickets through the platform!

overbooked the bus&4hrs late
They overbooked the bus, so at a certain point there was no seats available. 4 hours late. I was supposed to arrive at 23:30 to do the check in… instead i got there at 03:15 at night. The drivers very rude. AVOID GIJRAFA

Poor customer service – service did not match what was promised
I booked tickets through Gjirafa Travel for a direct trip from Sarandë to Gjirokastër, but the bus made an unscheduled stop at the Blue Eye, which was never mentioned during the booking process or on the tickets. On top of that, the bus arrived 45 minutes later than the stated arrival time, meaning we had almost no time to actually experience Gjirokastër before having to catch the return trip. I contacted customer service with a reasonable expectation of a refund or at least a proper explanation, as the service clearly did not match what was advertised or paid for. Their response? That since the journey was “technically completed,” no refund could be issued. Frankly, that’s unacceptable. It’s not just about whether the bus drove from A to B, but whether the service delivered what it promised – and it didn’t.They offered me a 10% discount on a future booking, but since I was flying home the next day, that was of no use to me. I explained this, but received the same templated response again – just worded more politely.Bottom line: If something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Their refund policy is rigid and completely ignores real customer experiences. I cannot recommend using Gjirafa Travel, and I strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking.

I booked from Gjirafa travel site 2 bus tickets from Pristina to Thessaloniki with the company Gmica Travel. The departure time was at 4.00 a.m. The bus never showed up and no one notify me that the trip was canceled. The Gjirafa travel didn't return the fare of the ticket. It was a total scam! I would not recomend to use this site for your bookings.

Jul 2025 I used the Gjirafa to travel: Tirana x Berat return Tirana x Dhermi return And all went well, the bus show up on time. Safe drive. Clear indications. Print your tickets, it will be much easier for you to communicate with the drivers.

Hello,I made a booking through your website for the Pristina to Niš route. The trip from Niš to Pristina went smoothly, but the return was quite disappointing.When we arrived at the departure point in Pristina, the driver told us the van was full — even though we had purchased tickets online. Since it was the last trip of the day, our online booking was essentially useless. The driver, although a bit rude, did end up trying to help us. In order to get us back to Niš that day, he placed two plastic stools (like bar stools) in the middle aisle of the van.Everyone was laughing at us, but we had no other option if we wanted to return to Niš. It was an uncomfortable and embarrassing experience.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gjirafa or Adio Tours for this route — unless you ensure your partners actually honor the bookings and focus less on just making money

The worse company ever
The worse company ever. Booked a ticket from Tirana to Saranda and bus did not show up. Tried to contact via their customer service and no one responded. They ruined my holidays in Albania. Stay away
