I had a terrible experience with Travelopod. While booking my flight, they did not ask for my passport and only took my details over the phone. I clearly gave my correct first name and surname, and they confirmed my booking.Two days before travel, when I called to select seats, I was informed that my name was entered incorrectly (first name and surname were reversed). The agency said they could only fix it if I paid an additional $758 — a mistake that was not mine.I contacted the airline directly, and they told me that if I had booked directly through them, this correction could have been done without any charges.I tried contacting Travelopod multiple times, but no one responded properly. The stress and extra cost ruined my vacation planning.Advice: Avoid third-party booking sites like Travelopod. Book directly with the airline to prevent unnecessary charges and stress.
