Beware ! Never thought this could happen to me.

I don’t normally review but this is for the scam operation going in West Palm Beach FL. They were given a 738.00 deposit for a July interstate move for my elderly mother. We have been trying to contact them and I just get a recording day in and day out that they can’t take our call try again later. I then proceeded to contact two of the people I dealt with via email and one bounces back and the other contact will not answer me. Complaint has been filed with the Florida State Attorney and I have to scramble to get another mover that can do this in the next 4 weeks. Don’t know how people live with themselves

Scam company they will tell you…

Scam company they will tell you whatever you want to hear. I had the misfortune of dealing with a rat named Jimmy Sullivan, he truly is the definition of sleazy salesman, initially was quoted 9 thousand, we told him that it was too much and that we were not interested. He called us back saying he could get it done for less than 4 thousand which we agreed to. This company is just the middle man apparently. The movers were only able to take about a third of our stuff. We cancelled but of course trident kept 1 thousand. The manager just said well it’s your fault for not knowing all the industry jargon and not reading the fine print and trusting what jimmy said.

Pretty Great Experience

Our family had a great experience with Trident Moving including the crew who performed the pick up and final delivery. I did have a small price increase however Trident did warn me of that if I didn't pack everything correctly and I did not pack my TV so the increase was completely acceptable. Never want to move again but if we do, I'll use Trident again

I left one star because I had to

I left one star because I had to. This company gave our belongings to someone else. When we called them about it, they laughed at us. We filled a report to receive compensation, the amount lost being $30,000 and they told us they could only give us $79 and we would have to pay a $25 fee to get it notarized. So we would only actually receive about $50 for their mistake. Not to mention, they didn’t even know where our things were. I have moved 20 plus times in my life being in the military and never had an experience even remotely as bad as this company. Do not use them, I guarantee your brothers friend will get the job done better.

they are liars and run a whole scam on…

they are liars and run a whole scam on people to defraud them of their money. they will make you wait until the last minute where you have no other option but to allow them to take your things and hold your things until you pay them the absurd well over the amount that you are advised you will pay. DO NOT USE TRIDENT they are not reputable and they will lie to you to get you in and steal your money. Just ask the moving companies employees they will straight tell you all the do is lie to customers to and then double or triple the amount they charge.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! They are a big scam and you will end up paying much more money. This company gave me a quote and did a 3rd party moving company called Black Stone. My quote was 3,000 but black stone recalibrate and I ended up paying 6,000 dollars more. I tried to cancel this company but couldn’t- not without losing money. I was told I would be able to cancel but trust me these people went back On their word. Read the contract good because it won’t say what you were told. You cannot trust this company or anyone that doesn’t send anyone out to do a proper inspection of your things. This is why they didn’t want me talking to other movers! I knew I was going to be in trouble and it was going to cost me more money just from reading the reviews which I should have done before I gave thaws stupid people my money! They did exactly what all these other people are complaining about. I won’t stop until I find the proper place to report this company and file a complaint against them. The problem is they don’t think people will spend the extra money to take their asses to court. They been getting away with this way to long and needs stopped.

Avoid At All Costs

I was looking to move and was reached out to by Samuel Goldstein at Trident Moving Services LLC (DOT #3951250 MC #1470573) on 09/14/2023. I put down a deposit for a move to WA from TN (bill of lading #6787703). A week later I was called by Justin for quality assurance, he was rude and attempted to tack on an additional $1,000 to the estimate. After explaining that I was under 300 cu. ft. and nothing had changed in the amount I was bringing and that I would not agree to the new amount, he hung up. I called back to talk with another customer service rep and I explained that Justin was rude and condescending and that the amount being moved did not exceed 300 cu. ft. and they kept the same estimate. My window for pick up was 9/27-9/28. I received calls confirming pick up dates from Southerly Van Lines (or Southern Elite Van Lines DOT #4083659). Jennifer from Southerly Van Lines told me that her truck would come on 9/28 first thing in the morning. They never arrived. I called multiple times and finally she picked up and told me she would reach out to her crew. At 2PM on the day of the move, Jennifer texted they would not be able to come and that they could come the next morning. I told her I have a flight the next morning and cannot change my flight because I have to begin work. I reached out to Trident and did not hear back. I requested a refund of my deposit and they said they will not refund me.

Doubled price only a few days before

If you are thinking about hiring this company to move your house, please do not do it. I am going through the pain right now. I would not want this to happen to any person out there. 1- when you call them they give you a good price and they don't list your everything. They want you to pay the non-refundable deposit ASAP. 2- They call you only a few days before your move and highjack the price to double!!!3- People who call you for moving they are rude, they want you to not question and pay. I am not seeing reviews also moving process may delay and they may do bad job as well. I would not be surprised with the doubled price and terrible service. 4- Customer care will tell you to just suck up and pay the double price. Good luck if you can find somebody in last couple days before your move, so you pay them. It is an abuse. Please dont do business with this company. They are cheaters. Scam!

These guys are scammers

These guys are scammers. Please avoid them. I made the payment and agreed to come on Friday and deliver on Sunday. They did not and came on Saturday with an unorganized truck that had someone else belonging laying all over. I asked for a refund on Friday because I already planned to fly my family on Saturday. I will be pressing charges through my organization. Please avoid them. They are SCAMMERS.

Trident will scam you with low bid and in the bed you get screwea

Called Trident salesman James had me take pictures of all in the house. Quoted $4800They brokered the move they are crooked brokers. No one ever said they were brokers and had other companies do the work and charge their own fees besides theirs. The moving people came out and it cost 3800 and cash only. They they store it for $650 a month. Then they need 21 day notice to ship out with another mover and they want 3800 cash $4800 turned into $12400. Don’t ever call this crooked company. Deal directly with a mover that does the entire moves d get 1 exact price up front!!

Scam

First off all I am not big fan of leaving bad reviews on companies. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Do your homework! The sales pitch is too good to be true but you will need a lot more space than the quote. They are scammers. We called the customer service and a representative by the name of Zack answered the call and he input the information and gave us a quote so we paid the first payment. A week later we called and we found out that he did not write every item we wanted to move like a safe and they offered new higher price form the original agreed upon. They have being used this tactic forever and they are getting away with it. In addition, it is not a moving company and they use a third party to move the items. They trick people on the initial call and they make sure you agree on the initial price and you sign a contract and you will lose the initial payment if you want to cancel the contact and then they change the price a day or two before the movement date then you cannot cancel the contract and you will lose your initial payment. I wonder how they will still in business. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will warn people about it.

Just Awful

I have been in business a long time and rarely have a seen such a display of deceptive business practices and abysmal customer service as I witnessed in my recent move from Colorado to California. From using a name closely akin to a real moving company out of NC with positive reviews to quoting one price to get you to sign the binding contract and then demanding more money a week before the move because they underquoted you at the time of binding, this BROKER services company (ie, NOT A MOVING COMPANY) uses every sleezy sales pitch in the book to get your signature (think used car salesmen techniques and you get pretty close to reality with these folks). Their contract you sign is so unethical that I feel that any good attorney would have a field day with it (I mean it literally says you cannot leave them a bad review --- that should be a big red flag right there). And let me give a shout out to Justin for providing the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered (Condescending sarcasm and calling a customer stupid are a foolish and ignorant way of handling disgruntled customers --- just tackless). That is just the binding part. Next I would like to review the actual move.As a broker service, Trident Moving Services does not move your products but rather hires out third-party movers (and from my experience, I would say bottom of the barrel types). We add alot of precious art and valuables, so we were very nervous about outsourcing our move, but the used salesman pitch (see above) sold my wife into signing their agreement. Both sides of the move came with unprofessional movers. The pickup team put a hole in the wall and wrapped things so poorly that we had complete loss damages on several items. The drop off team was one man...yes, we paid for a team and instead got one person, which means we got to basically move ourselves in instead of directing traffic. He felt the need to smoke the entire time and it took weeks to get that smell out of the new house and carpets. And because Trident Moving Services were (are) so bad with customer service, neither my wife nor I could bring ourselves to report the damages because frankly we did not have the energy to deal with them again. I am begging you before you sign the binding contract and risk your deposit seriously consider whether these folks are people you truly want to do business with. I, for one, will never fall for their sales pitch again. RUN!!!!

Do your homework

Do your homework! The sales pitch is good but you will need a lot more space than the quote is for AND they contract out to non accredited third part scam artists. We lost over $12k AND 80% of our belongings were destroyed by Hermes Moving and Storage. It has been an absolute disaster for us and truly devastating. They are really good at saying the right things. Yes they are insured. But unless you purchase SEPARATE very very expensive insurance from your carrier you will only be reimbursed based on items weight. 0.60 per pound. It’s the biggest scam ever. There’s no loss to them if they ruin everything, they’ve gotten paid. The claims company gives you a couple hundred bucks to replace everything in your home after they destroyed it. Please don’t fall for this. I don’t wish this nightmare on anyone except for each person responsible for my belongings and each person that BS me into believing I was making a good choice. Shame on every one of them.

If I could give them 0 stars I would

If I could give them 0 stars I would! They arrived 2 DAYS LATE to transport my furniture, and when they arrived at my new home with my furniture, they only brought half if it! I had to purchase an air mattress so I had something to sleep on until they arrived. I had to take extra time off work due to their negligence and poor planning. I didn't even receive a phone call to tell me they would be late. I had to leave several messages and got a call back 5 hours later with excuses for why they didn't arrive. Save yourself the headache and go with a company a friend or family member has had a good experience with. These reviews on here have to be fake!
