deceptive pricing. They show the price for the item you are wanting, but when you get to the shipping, the cost of shipping is equal to or more than the item itself! The price is fake, since they add it to the overpriced shipping. I.E. I looked at buying a transponder key for $12.99. Shipping was $15.00! It wasn't overnight, or even 3 day shipping. It was for putting the key in an envelope and sending it to me! Totally unethical

ordered a $2000 cutter for my grandson
ordered a $2000 cutter for my grandson, payment declined, waited a day then paid via paypal. got both payments taken as they said sent 2 parcels, different days, one delivery was declined, now want to charge me 500 to "restock" as classed as a return. Still waiting for replies and full refund not store credit note as wont use them again.

The shipping department tends to make errors, I selected next day shipping and paid for it, they sent it out 2nd day air instead which cost me to lose out on a big job, contacted UHS about the problem and they where very dismissive about it at customer service.

It is hoped that you will send us an invoice for the price of two cords and also any extra part that is needed for EE1021 locks as soon as possible so that we could make a payment and receive items and transfer it to our clients as soon as possible to prevent the contract from being canceled. This company is a scam. I ordered a lock and sent it back. They claimed it was damaged when returned and denied the return. We never opened the packaging and immediately returned the lock. Complete scam and rude customer service. Stay far away from this company.

Terrible company. Ordered a machine from them . They never sent it out. Had to paypal claim for over 2000 dollars. They kept over 100 dollars with no explination why they never sent me anything

Be very wary of placing any orders with them
I had always been happy with UHS Hardware customer service and pricing, until my last contact with their ordering department. I called to place an order, did not finalize the order, and said I would call back shortly. I did call back, within 10 minutes, and said that I regrettably had to cancel the order. Nothing had been pulled from stock, nothing had been packaged, and yet they billed my credit card and refused to refund the full amount. The sales person claimed that they were charging me a 'restocking' or order cancelling fee. That's just disgusting. And with that way of doing business and treating customers, they have lost this customer. I’ve ordered from other wholesalers and NONE have ever had the audacity to pull this. I hope others are made aware of UHS Hardware's practice and think twice before placing any orders with them. Do your homework, as I did, and check out other wholesalers. There are other, more ethical sellers, and they aren’t thieves.

UHS Hardware failed over and over
I really wish this site would you let post a lengthy review for places so I could post in detail my entire experience. If you're trying to buy hardware most of it is overpriced, but don't ever let them do any special projects for you. The only thing this supplier is good for is opening a box, filling it usually per your order, and shipping it out to you. I ordered a custom IC core order from them for 100 cores and 4 times in a row they sent me the wrong order and lost me a contract with what would've been my biggest customer. After spending 3600 for my order I was offered $600 as a refund. They are scum and I'm through with them after their disrespect for my business. I gave them 45 days to try and make my order correctly and they failed again and again.

Company's customer service is poor. Tried to order a product. Told it was a 45 day ship. Then told they have no idea. Then have issues with accounting not having payment when DIscover credit card says they have the payment. UHS will not respond

UHS Hardware doesn’t Acknowledged responsibility for non-delivered items. The communication within the network fails. We received your voicemail with the tracking order number that they received back at their warehouse as followed up the other associates are not finding the packages.We all need to report these violations to BBB and Federal trade commission.

Misleading online catalog
Misleading online catalog - provides pictures and installation videos of parts not included with selected item. Absolutely no response to emails about missing parts, phone calls "your call is important to us..." wait 40 minutes then disconnected. Shipping was fast, but product was not as advertised. When I finally did get through to "customer service" they had no idea what they sold or what additional parts needed to be ordered separately.

This Company sold me hardware then…
This Company sold me hardware then sends me half the order (deadbolts but no levers) but charges me full price. Informs me after-the-fact that item is on back-order when I purchased it online it said in-stock. Now, I have double the install cost from my contractor to install because he now has to make two trips and I'm stuck with two doors in my house that I can't enter of exit because they have no hardware (it's been a month now and counting) . I'm never ordering from UHS hardware again. Customer service is difficult to say the least - never admit any mistakes - they blame you! Furthermore, I previously ordered a front door entry set from them a few months earlier. Upon going to the Manufacturer's site I looked up what I order from UHS and found they send me the older (not current) model hardware that does not have the current features. I confronted and they said sorry the order is too old , we can't help you. After all of this they offered me a $60 credit. But when I asked them a week later, "where's my $60 credit?" they said oh, that's a $60 credit for a future purchase! Like, really???? I'm going to order something from this sham company again??? These guys are criminals. Run don't walk away from this company.

I ordered a CN900mini online. they said they have delivered it to me. i never received the shipment, tracking stops somewhere in jamaica, and i am in africa. calls for feedback proved futile. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when dealing with this company. i lost my money to them!
