Yearly fees
Yearly fees so the price is not what it seems. So shameful, would not recommend vasa to any student.

Tried to cancel my membership for over 6 months without success. My membership $25 per month plus my trainer 2 X $90 per month is a total of $1,230 for the past 6 months. I kept getting assurances that it was canceled and finally cut them off with American Express. What a total rip off.
Avoid this business like the plague! They make it impossible to cancel without paying enormous fees. It feels like I am being held against my will. Before I can cancel, they are charging me a $19.99 upcoming membership fee, a $59.99 rate guarantee fee, and a $25.00 cancelation fee. So just for the privilege of cancellaing I have to pay $104.98 in fees! This is insane!!!
Honestly the gym and staff are great. Its the hidden billing. Like paying a fee to keep your prices locked. Simple math just makes it more expensive then advertised. Also Honestly setting up cameras and taking up a piece of equipment to make Tic Tock videos is sometime that should be removed. The gym is to make yourself fit and not a filming studio.I was not suprised to open up review portal and find a low rating for Vasa.
My experience with your customer support has been extremely disappointing. Responses take days, and every time I finally hear back, I’m asked the same basic questions about my contact information again. I have to repeat my request over and over.It is nearly impossible to reach anyone by phone. At the VASA fitness center, representatives give different information every time. When I came in person on January 29 to cancel Kid Care, I was told it was successfully canceled — but clearly it was not. I was still charged for February, even though my children no longer attend. All I needed was a simple Kid Care cancellation — and since I was charged anyway, I am requesting a refund. This has been a terrible experience and shows a complete lack of respect for customers.
This might be one of the worst companies I have ever given my business to. I never write reviews, EVER! This might be the first review of a company I have ever written actually and god is it warranted. No customer consideration whatsoever. They charge you to cancel. When you try to cancel on the app (that you’re signed into), it sends you to a page where you have to look up your account (from the app you’re signed into). Once you do that for no reason, then it tells you that you can’t cancel your membership and that you need to contact an employee to do so. DO NOT go to this gym. Trust me, It is way overpriced for so few amenities. They trap you into giving them 25 dollars after you sign up WHEN you decide to cancel because VASA inevitably didn’t live up to the hype. If I could I would give it negative stars. 💩
I have not been able to cancel my membership. Customer service does not exist.
Absolute zero stars – this place is a frozen hellhole masquerading as a gym. Barely open for a pathetic couple of months, and they’ve already managed to screw up the basics: zero hot water in the locker rooms, forcing everyone to endure torturous ice-cold showers that leave you shivering and miserable. Management? What a joke – they’ve been fully aware of this disaster but couldn’t care less, blatantly ignoring the complaints and letting the problems fester like an open wound. It’s downright moronic, incompetent behavior from a so-called “team” that probably doesn’t even understand the first thing about running a facility. Avoid this dump at all costs unless you enjoy suffering in subzero conditions!
Extremely predatory hidden fees in their contract.I signed up for a 12 session engagement of personal training, and they failed to tell me that after the 12 sessions they will automatically subscribe you to a month to month at $280 a month, and require a 30 day cancellation of that unbeknownst subscription. They now want over $380 just to cancel for a gym I can't even use because of how busy they are.
My trainer, Michelle is a super nice and friendly person. As a coach she pushes me to work hard and keeps me accountable. In my 30 minute sessions with her, I sweat the most. I am always out of breath but that's only because of my top heaviness which we are working towards slimming down. Always happy to get there and train with her!!
Well, I’m not very just satisfied right now. On the way to the vasa. Gym is being ran on Federal the pool is had several problems very cold dirty. The outside of the gym is round pretty well and kept pretty clean but as far as the pool maintenance and keeping the water at 83° and has been broke for over three weeks this is in Denver Colorado 7353 federal Boulevard.
STAY AWAY FROM PERSONAL TRAINING The gym is nice and the people are nice. However, PT is where the company really screws you over. I've spent hours upon hours on hold trying to get through to a real person. I attempted email, text and call back features with no response. I canceled all PT for me and my daughter back in October. They canceled mine and canceled the auto renewal. However, they didn't cancel my daughter's and have charged me $450 since October and are charging me another $270 for a 30 day notice. Understand, this is not part of my initial contract. This is after I paid it in full and they auto renewed my daughter's portion. They will NOT refund my money. THEY RIPPED ME OFF!
I participated in the VASA Personal Training program. The staff and my personal trainer were great. I truly enjoyed my time at VASA, learned a lot, and have a path to success on my fitness journey as a result. My issue was with the shady billing policies, communication over those policies, being put off to a 3rd party to handle billing issues (Paramount Acceptance), and the lack of willingness of that 3rd party to accept responsibility for mistakes and lack of communication on their end that led to significant additional billing that I did not budget for. The first rep I spoke with at Paramount Acceptance admitted during our conversations that she did not communicate the cancellation policy correctly and that it was her fault, but still refused to make it right. I have seen the same type of review repeated online, and I think that until VASA figures out another solution for their billing model, I will not return.
Misleading Billing and Hidden FeesI signed up for VASA on October 31, 2025, and was shocked to see I was charged $27.98 for the entire month of October, even though I only had service for one day. I was also charged for the month of December even when membership was cancelled on December 1st. On top of that, they billed me $55 for an annual fee, despite my membership lasting only from October 31 to November 1.They advertise “no sign-up fee”, but sneak in a $55 annual fee. When I asked to have it removed since I only had one month of service, they told me it was for all of 2025, which makes no sense given I joined at the end of the year.I understand paying for November and even a cancellation fee, but charging for a full month and a full year when I barely used the service is unacceptable. This feels misleading and greedy. If you’re considering joining VASA, be very careful about their billing policies—they do not prorate fees and will charge you for services you didn’t receive.
Gym was good, but I have been try for two months to cancel my membership. No way to cancel on my app, no way to cancel online. No rep called me back, no emails returned. I keep calling and emailing them but nothing.
Like anybody else it’s canceled their membership and has to wait a 30 day. Period. Is absolutely bull crap. Very much enjoyed using the gym, but when your finances gets bad and you can’t afford to stay anymore and they take 30 days to cancel never never never never go there again.
Terrible customer experience and zero service. Pool has been not working for 4 months. Everytime I ask, "we're waiting for corporate to send parts". I call corporate - a holding company that owns VASA, and they will only "pass along my complaint" No help, no details as to when the pool heater will work again. Quitting.
Terrible experience. I live in MKE and belong to Planet Fitness which is fine for light days but go to VASA in Racine, WI for heavy workout days. Expanded my VASA membership to go to the newer New Berlin location only to be supremely disappointed. Not only do they have less weight equipment but it is old, rusty and had torn seats for a newer gym? Maybe they spent all their money on a pool that almost no one uses. Very sad. I'll be cancelling my broadened membership as the New Berlin location is pathetic.
Broken equipment, hidden charges, rude ass managers they help their coward DMs hide. Trash... You have been warned by me and many many MANY other's.
Won't let you cancel. Horrible company. Total scam
